Remus laughs. "Viktor you should know by now that I worry all the time no matter what. I'm sure she'll be the best prepared out of all of them, but even then I'll still worry."

Viktor chuckled. "Fair enough, I guess. I'd probably be the same vay if it vos my kid. Maybe. Just not about Quidditch. I don't think I'd ever vorry about my kid on a broom," he said with a laugh.

Remus nods. "She loves playing with Neville. I always have to watch out though when she starts flailing him about. She's gotten my face a few times - luckily he's just a stuffed animal so it doesn't hurt. She's doing well too. OH, and she's been crawling now too." Which I tossed in because I can't remember if Viktor knows about that or not yet.

"Yeah, she's hit me a few t-- VOT!? SHE CRAWLS! I DON'T SEE THE MOST AMAZING GIRL I'VE EVER MET FOR, LIKE, THREE DAYS, AND SUDDENLY SHE'S CRAWLING!" Viktor is freaking out. If he was a flailer, he'd be flailing like a madman. "That's amazing! I can't believe she's already crawling! Vell, yes I can. She's amazing and smart and clever and beautiful and perfect," he rambles on. "That's great, Remus! I really need to see her again soon. I miss seeing her every day."

"Thanks." Remus smiles and shrugs. "Sometimes I hear about some crazy things that happen at these parties, but most of the time not a lot happens. And I'm a terrible dancer half the time so the dancing part isn't always all that enjoyable." Of course he loves dancing with Hermione, he just doesn't love the actual dancing part of dancing.

"The only vay I can get him to dance is if I get him drunk, and even then he'll only dance for a short time before he vants to head straight to the locker rooms," he said with a small laugh. "Doesn't sound like the best time to me." He snorts - not to be unkind of course, Remus just thinks that that's ridiculous. Viktor should be able to have a more fun time than that, especially if he loves dancing.

"That's a shame." Remus shakes his head. "Wouldn't it help possibly if you two did some more flying together? I mean, like, if you're doing the thing that you both love together, then wouldn't that help make things better between the two of you? I don't think I'm making much sense right now."

"Hmm," Remus frowns, "well, definitely talk to him about it the next time you see him. Hopefully things will get better ~~which they won't cause Reg's a JERK and you deserve better~~ and hopefully he'll stop disappearing for ages so you can't see him or talk to him. Hiding from things, and/or not talking about things, aren't going to make them better. He needs to learn that better, I think."

Viktor blinks. Sirius, Mya, Molly, and now Remus had all told him the same exact thing. "I know. That's vot everyvon is saying. It's not like I can do anything about Lucius if I'm going to be spending time vith Sirius, even if I think Lucius is a terrible influence on somevon like Reg."
