Gellert Grindelwald wrote:"Yeah yeah," he said, distractedly, staring ahead of him. "Reg, can I ask you a question? How the fuck do you stay on this broom and catch a tiny flying ball at the same time?"

Regulus laughs, and removes one hand from Gellert's to reach into his pocket, and pulls out the snitch. With a mischievous grin he tosses it into the wind, letting it fly off. "Like this," he chuckles, pausing moment before taking control of the broom and chasing after it at an insane speed, the momentum slamming their bodies together. ALL BECAUSE EOWYN IS CRANKY AND FEELS THE NEED TO BE A BITCH.

With the wind in his face and Reg's body pressed into his own, Gellert finally saw the attractions of flying, and, although he would never admit it, he was terrified. He clung to the broom as they rocketed forward. "You asshole!" He yelled, half joking, half serious, not sure if his words had gotten lost in the wind.

Regulus laughed, a huge grin on his face as he sped after the snitch, which was now floating just above the ground. He forces the broom into a nose dive, throwing one arm around Gellert's waist to keep him from falling forward and gripping him tightly. They neared the ground at a dangerous speed and at the last second Reg let go of the broom with his free arm and snatched the snitch, quickly returning his hand to the broom to pull it upright just before they crashed into the ground. He slows the broom and gently lands it on the ground, laughing hysterically at seeing the look on Gellert's face.

Gellert wasn't really sure what was going on--he felt Reg's hand on his waist--a momentary distraction from the shock of flying--then they were speeding towards the ground, the snitch in Regulus's fist, then they reached the ground, Gellert remembering that he could breathe again only after a minute had passed. He forced a laugh. "You weren't kidding, you are totally awesome at that, Reg."

Regulus realizes he's still holding onto Gellert and quickly lets go, dismounting the broom, smirking at Gellert. "Of course I wasn't kidding, I know I'm awesome," he says with a grin, trying to hold back his laughter at the still horrified expression on Gellert's face. "You alright there?"

He arranges his features into his customary smirk. "Yeah, fine, that was--fun. Surprising. Y'know, thanks for the warning and everything." He grins.

[mmkay. doing anything fun tonight?]

[No. My professor just emailed me telling me to meet him tomorrow. MY TERM PAPER ISN'T DONE. SHIT.]

Regulus smiled happily, glad at being able to spend time with a friend. "Warnings? There aren't any warnings in quidditch," he said with a chuckle. "Come on, let's get back in, I think you might have a heart attack if I try and make you get back on a broom," he laughs. They walk back into the castle to their dorm.

Penny comes out to the quidditch pitch to get some fresh air, and hopefully do some thinking. her heart sank to the pit of her stomach, making her more nauseous when she saw Cormac flying around. she waved a little and went to sit in the stands

Cormac flew down to the stands. He smiled, "Penny!" He got off his broom and sat next to her. He kissed her quickly on the cheek. "How are you?"

"I've been great!" Cormac could see right through Penny, he always could, "Now do you really want to tell me how you've been?" Cormac smiled to give her comfort.
