Marcus walked up to the pitch and stood there.... waiting to see these ~~spazzing freaks~~ people try out.

Barty calmly walked up and stood beside Marcus, summoning his broom. He gripped it tightly and quirked a brow at the Captain, "So, we wait?"

Penny walked down to the pitch with her Nimbus 2001 and waited for those stupid sons of bitches to show up

Marcus took a little box out of his pocket and smirked. "Listen Up, because I am not repeating this. You have one try and one try only. If you catch the snitch first. You get the spot. Got it?"

With a flick of his wand a small whisper, Barty cast a Confundus charm on Penny. He mounted his broom and took off into the sky, searching for the snitch. The slight gold flicker that would reflect against the sunlight. It would simple. Easy.

Marcus let out the snitch and watched the two go for it.

Penny kicked off from the ground and flailed around wildly for a moment before finally getting her bearings and searching for the snitch

Barty laughed at Penny's flails before he charged through the sky. The wind blew his hair out of his face and he grinned once he saw the golden shimmer from the Snitch. He played his move carefully, keeping an eye on Penny as she looked around aimlessly for the Snitch. He stifled a cackle and dived effortlessly for the Snitch. His wand was clutched alongside his broomstick because, obviously, the Slytherins would have their own methods for being talented Quidditch players. Barty mixed talent with magic. If Penny got in his way, she'd get the worst of it. The best part was, his spells were nearly undetectable.

Penny stared around, eyes narrowed, searching for the snitch. she saw Barty dive and flew in close to him, neck and neck

Barty saw Penny draw nearer and nearer to his broom. He rolled his eyes. Pity. She should have let me have the position to begin with. Before Barty could control himself, he watched Flint out of the corner of his eye and waited until the Snitch flew higher into the atmosphere, out of Flint's view, before slamming his elbow into Penny's jaw. He sped forward when he saw her recoil and his fingers grasped hungrily onto the Snitch.

Penny let out a scream when Barty slammed into her jaw. she lost her balance on her broom and fell to the side. she held on with her hand, trying to swing back up. her jaw hurt like hell and she could feel tears of pain spring to her eyes

Barty gently brought his broom back down to the ground and stared as Penny struggled. The corner of his mouth twitched into a half smile and he looked back at Flint, tossing the Snitch to him, "So, I guess this means I get the position?"

Marcus grabbed the snitch and stuck it back into the box. He looked up at Penny and then looked back to Barty. "A Deal's a deal. You get the spot."

Penny screamed in frustration and her hand slipped from her broom causing her to fall towards the ground. she landed with a thud and groaned when she felt some blood trickle from the back of her head and before blacking out.

Marcus ran over to Penny and kneeled down next to her, lifting her up. "Penny?" He said before he noticed she had blacked out. He picked her up and rushed past Barty. "hey I'll talk to you some other time about practice.... I have to get her to the Hospital Wing." He said before walking off.

"Something's wrong with the other one over there," Barty didn't even bother turning to see the damage. The crack from her fall was satisfying enough, "See you for practice." He mutters with a smirk and leaves the pitch.

Oliver storms on to the pitch with the box of quidditch balls under his arm. He drops 'em on the ground and takes his Nimbus 2000. He kicks off the ground with a quaffle in hand. He flies over to the keeper posts. He couldn't let feelings interrupt quidditch anymore. He charmed the quaffle to continuously shoot at the posts. A nifty trick he learnt from his travels.

Oliver nearly fell off his broom when Katie walked on to the pitch. He slowly went down to the ground. He scratched the back of his head. "Uh.. hi."
