He slowly pulls back out of the hug and smiles at her. "I've been doing pretty good."

"Great, come one in! I just finished baking. Perfect timing" She led him into the kitchen where she had a steaming tray of cookies from the oven. "Tea? Coffee? Anything else? I've got everything."

He followed her into the kitchen and looked down at the good looking cookies. "Ummm, anything's fine really." He said while smiling at her.

"M'kay." She peered in the fridge and settled on milk after all what else is perfect with cookies? Pouring them both glasses she sat down at the table. "So what's happening back at Hogwarts?"

"Well...you know that girl Millicent? Well apparently her and Penny switched bodies and then Millicent thought it would be okay to snog me while she was in Penny's body." He said kind of quickly. "Anyways that's pretty much the reason I came to see you." He said with a slight smile. "I just needed to get away."

"That cow! Wait... isn't Millicent the really fat one?" Tam looked rather revolted, "Poor Penny... that would be awful!" She gave him a small smile in return, "It's always nice to get away some times. Perspective helps."

"Yes, she is the fat one. The one who follows me everywhere." He said shaking his head slightly and held back a gag. "I feel so bad for Penny, I mean she wanted to try and keep everything normal but I just can't do that when she is in that body. You know?"

"Oh Merlin definitely! How could she expect you to do anything with that? I mean I'm sorry, it isn't all about looks but Millicent is so gross... it's unreasonable in a sense. Hopefully they switch back soon."

"Yeah, I know me too." He said nodding slightly. "I just..I mean I tried to but I couldn't do that. I felt like I was with Millicent which is just.....disgusting."

"Yeah, I mean we are in the same dorm so you think we would see a lot of each other but I haven't seen him for a while now." He says trying to think of the last time he saw Scorp.

"Wow... well I guess you've both been busy." Tam settled back in her chair, enjoying the morning sunlight filtering into the little kitchen. It was so nice and peaceful. Not at all like Hogwarts.

"Not much. I've been working in the village at a little store and I'm enjoying it. It's not glamourous or anything I ever expected to do but I'm enjoying it. And the people here are amazing, they're perfect for what I need." She smiled thinking of all her new friends.

"Thanks Marcus, it really means a lot. I just don't know if I could go back now. I miss people but I think I've moved on in a sense." She shrugged, "Some days I want to go back so badly it hurts but other I can't even imagine it"

"Yeah." He nodded. "I know how you feel. There are some times when I just want to leave and never go back, but I usually just try to work through it you know? I don't want to lose the people there as friends." He smiled at her.

"I think it was almost because of the friends that I left. But I am still in contact with a few... You, Scorp, Mya... the people who were really important to me."

Marcus smiled at her and looked her up and down, he had almost forgotten how hot she really was. "Yeah, well I'm glad we got to stay friends." He smiled and before he knew it he had his lips pressed against hers.

He had been smiling at her then his lips were on hers. Shocked she didn't know what to do. Giving into the kiss seemed the most reasonable action. Yes it did. She wrapped an arm around his shoulder to steady herself and leaned closer to him.

He slid his arms around her waist and deepened the kiss more. He slowly pulled away in shock after he realized what he was doing. He pulled back away from her in shock and mumbled. "I'm sorry...I don't know why I did that...it's just...you being gone so long and I don't know..."
