He's waiting for Luna to show up. ~~So she can have a heart attack~~ He's really nervous for tonight, knowing he was planning on telling her the truth finally.

Luna walks into the great hall in her Lady Gaga dress, which was worn by the Lady herself. Gaga is an avid reader of the Quibbler, did you know? She sees Dean and turns red as a quaffle. Oh dear. This isn't going well for Luna. She forces herself to walk over, still looking all quaffley. "Hi Dean...Nice costume..." Luna blinks.

He immediately stopped dancing like an idiot. "Hey Luna! You look great! Those aren't sharp are they?" He wondered how he'd be able to dance with her if he was about to be stabbed. He was totally unaware of her blushing.

Luna giggled, trying to convince herself that this was still the same Dean that was her best friend, even if he did wear less clothing. "No. They're not sharp," she says, poking the pointy part of the dress with her finger to demonstrate.

He smiled at her. "Well that's good! That's a really creaticve costume!" Dean doesn't know who Gaga is, because I will not allow it. "Did you make it?"

"Oh. No, I didn't make it. My dad sent it to me for the dance. It's from some muggle singer," she explains. "Where...What are you?" she asks, blinking as she tries to think of what Dean told her he might dress up as. "Do all muggle cops really dress like that?"

"That's cool!" He laughed at her quesion. "No, they usually wear shirts..and pants. This is just something I use for..." He caught himself before he revealed his secret occupaton. "For Halloween. Yup."

"Oh." Luna blinks and does not question this. She's not used to dressing up for Halloween, so this sounds like a completely acceptable explanation to her. "Well, you look...You look very nice," she says with a small smile, still feeling sort of overdressed now that she sees all the other girls wearing close to nothing.

"Thanks. So, you wanna dance, or get a drink or something?" Why did he feel nervous all of the sudden. He's been around Luna so many times, why did he feel awkward now?

Luna looks around the dance floor again. "Erm. We could dance...If that's what you wanna do," she says quietly, not admitting that she doesn't like dancing, or that she'd rather be with her secret girlfriend right now.

Caradoc walks in, and spots Luna right away, because I mean, how the hell do you miss that? He grins and walks up to her, about to high five her on her awesome Gaganess, when he sees the hot hunk of gorgeousness she's dancing with, and totally does not interfere, because hot damn! He's just gonna stand here and mentally fist bump Luna, 'cause that's some gorgeous sexy man, that is.

He smiled. Dancing was, after all, his specialty. He grabbed her hand and pulled her to a little section of dance floor. He started doing his smooth 'Usher' moves around her. He wouldn't grind on her, because he wanted to respect her space, but he was still pretty close. "This is a great song!" He made a note to use this at one of his 'special events'.

Luna would die of Dean tried grinding with her. She's not really dancing right now, just sort of flailing her arms just like she does in DH at the wedding. That is how Luna dances, don't be hating. "I've never heard it," she admits, surprised by Dean's dancing skills.

"Me either!" He laughed and continued to dance around like a pro. He smiled at Luna's dancing. She was just so endearing to him, and her dancing suited her perfectly. "So, I told Seamus to meet me sometime. You don't mind do you? He wants to officially meet you."

"Oh? No, I don't mind," she says happily. "He seems like a really cool guy. I'm sure all you're friends are awesome people," she says, glad to see that Dean was acting a little less awkward now.

He stopped dancing around her an just did some shoulder shrugs while standing in front her. "Yeah, Seamus is cool. Do I get to meet any of your friends tonight?"

Luna shrugs and glances around, wondering if Hermione would be showing up. Probably not. "Um. I don't see any of them here actually," she says with a sigh. She only had a small handful of friends, after all.

He nodded and started doing some pelvic thrusts ~~they really drive you insssaaanne~~. "Maybe they will come later, it's still pretty early.." He acted like it was totally normal to talk while he was dancing like that.

Luna blushes as Dean's dancing gets more intense, wondering if he thought her dancing was weird because she had no idea to how to do...whatever he was doing. "Maybe...They're...not really party people," she shrugged, still flailing her arms.

"That sounds great!" She smiles and stops dancing, glad to have something else to do, because she isn't much of a dancer. I don't know why. That's just what it said in HBP, so I'm sticking with it.

He stopped too and grabbed her hand. He grinned like a loon being able to do this and get away with it. He lead her over to a table with drinks. "So, what'll be?" He grabbed a Firewhiskey for himself, of course..

Luna blinks as Dean takes the Firewhiskey. How was that allowed in the school? Oh well. He's a Seventh year and can do what he wants, since he's of age and all. She, being the innocent Lunacorn that she is, takes some pumpkin juice for herself. "I'll just stick with this," she says, smiling over at his friend and trying to ignore the sexy costume.
