Severus is running away from some evil Gryffindors or something, and promptly turns the corner and falls right into Marcus, dropping all his books and the such. Blushing furiously, he starts to gather them up. "So sorry, Marcus," he mumbled, recognizing the guy, having seen him about in the common room.

Marcus let out an annoyed groan as he was ran into. "Jeez! What in the world were you running from? You seem like you were running for your life or something." He said, sounding only a tad irritated.

"Sorry! Idiots-- er, I mean, Sirius Black and James Potter. Also synonymous with idiots," he explained, rather apologetic as he collected his things and got back on his feet. "Not running for my life. Just running from more hexes."

"Because the last time I did that, I nearly got expelled, and these prats have a way of convincing the authorities that I attacked them. Lovely situation, isn't it? So for the most part, I avoid them," he replied awkwardly, looking rather embarrassed.

"Who doesn't hate Gryffindors? But yeah, they're prats. Er, sorry again, about running into you. Though, it's kind of like running into a brick wall, they weren't kidding around when they stuck you on the quidditch team, were they?" he remarked.

"Oh, its cool." he said with a light shrug. "I get it, You don't want to get in trouble but you don't want to get your ass kicked either." He said and gave him a small smile. "Uhh, Yeah. I guess they weren't." He said with a small shrug.

"How's the team doing this year? It'd be nice to see a Slytherin win for the cup this year-- I'm rather looking forward to the next game, actually," he said.

"The teams doing really good actually." He said nodding. "We've got some great players so it's looking like it will be a good season." He said and grinned. "And believe me. My number one goal this year is to win that cup."

Nev should probably get some sleep too so I can last all night tomorrow. That sounds dirty.

Lily wanders down the hallway in her own world, taking the time to look at the paintings because they're really quite interesting. She doesn't talk to them though, because some of the protraits look like the kind of stuffy old wizards who will talk for hours and chase her from frame to frame with stories of 'back in the day' if she's too friendly...

The Quidditch player paintings are fun to talk to in Viktor's opinion, but some of them are rather rude so he tends to not speak to them unless they address him first. He sees that Lily girl that he met the other day by the common room and smiles because she seemed rather friendly when they first talked. "Hello, Lily," he greets with a grin as he eventually makes his way over to her. "How've you been?"

Lily looks around from a very pretty landscape with two little girls pulling faces at her and smiles. "Hi Viktor. I didn't recognise you without us tripping over each other for a second, there," she jokes, remembering their first meeting. "I'm well, and yourself?"

Viktor chuckles ~~and blushes like a little girl~~. "Oh, right," he said, almost forgetting about that little encounter until just now. "I thought I'd try a new approach this time. Need to keep you on your toes and all," he joked. "I've been pretty great recently. Anything new or exciting in the life of Lily Evans?" Viktor apparently is good with remembering names. I just decided this now.

Lily laughs. "Right then. Well I don't know if it qualifies as exciting, but I think I'm about to get into a face-pulling contest with a painting," she says, having spotted the two little girls still pulling faces at her out of the corner of her eye. "Excuse me," she says to Viktor in a calm, dignified voice. Then she turns back to the painting and blows a giant raspberry at it.

Viktor blinks and waits patiently, not sure what he should be expecting but whatever it was, it certainly wasn't what he just watched happened. "That vos cute," he chuckles lightly, looking highly amused. "I think you von that round," he comments, smiling at the faces on the children in the painting because apparently they weren't expecting that from a Prefect either.

Lily chuckles too and glances around - oh well, the hallway is empty but for the two of them. "I think I did too. Oh, wait, they're regrouping I think," she says, watching the little girls whisper to each other behind their hands. While she waits for the next offensive, she turns to Viktor, green eyes sparkling with amusement. "So what's new with you? Keeping the girls on their toes?" she asks lightly, unaware that Viktor is more into keeping the boys on their toes. Or on their backs. Or... you know what Mya, just stop now.

Viktor blinks, realizing that Lily doesn't know he's gay and keeping Rolf on his back, or on his knees, or in Viktor's lap, or in the Captain's chair of the Enterprise. "Oh. Er- You could say that. Just replace girls vith guys...And then guys vith Rolf, I suppose, because I'm sure he vouldn't approve of me keeping other guys on their toes," he says with a light laugh.

OMG WTF IS WRONG WITH ME TODAY!?

"Oh. Sorry, my mistake," Lily says lightly, smiling. "Rolf... don't know the name. He's not in Gryffindor then? Have you been together long?" she asks. "Oh, just a mo," she interrupts herself, turning back to the painting where the little girls are crossing their eyes and waggling their tongues about. Lily puffs up her cheeks and pulls her ears out, making a monkey-face.
