Ron thinks Melanie is one of those people who look really cute when they blush. Unlike Weasley's, whose blush just clashes with their hair. "Er, no," he admits. "Not much sense, really, but kudos to you for trying. So, Melanie, how do you like Hogwarts?"

Weasley's blushing. Oh dear, I can just imagine that and it is not good. No it is not. She laughed slightly. "Yeah, you would probably have to ask someone really into sports if you really wanted to know about the sports." She said with a small shrug. "I like it a lot." She says nodding and I am assuming this is after Melanie and Lucius' date because well. Yeah. I just am because he asked her forever ago we just haven't gotten around to writing it yet. "Everyone here is really nice."

"Not everyone is nice," Ron mutters under his breath. He is thinking of the Malfoy's, of course. Surprise surprise. "Well, glad you like it," he says, loud enough for her to hear this time. "It's a great place once you learn your way around. Took Harry and I a couple weeks before we could get to classes on time, and even now the castle still surprises me."

Melanie doesn't think the Malfoy's are the greatest people ever either. She isn't a huge fan of Lucius but she doesn't really hate them. She nodded. "Yeah, I was late to almost every class my first day." She said and blushed slightly. "But after that I kind of got a hang of the school and found people to walk to classes with." She said nodding. "So that worked out nicely. If I hadn't met people to show me around I would probably still be getting to classes late."

Ron grins. "Just be lucky that you weren't caught accidentally trying to get through a door that just happened to be strictly out of bounds. I swear Filch was about to tear Harry and I to shreds with his bare hands."

Melanie laughed and grinned. "Are you sure it was accidentally?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. "You seem to be a guy who may be a little bit rebellious to me." She says with a small smirk.

Ron smirked and did that hair flip that guys do when they think they're cool. "Well yeah, it was accidental. At the time, anyway. There was only a three headed dog in there. No big deal," he says shrugging.

Melanie literally jaw dropped. "A three headed dog?!" She asked a bit in shock. "Are you joking? They have a three headed dog in the school?"

Ron puts on his serious face.



"Does this look like the face of a joking man?" he asks. "Yes there was a three headed dog in the school. Went by the name of Fluffy," he says, shaking his head. Silly Hagrid. Naming a giant beast Fluffy. "Easy to take care of him though, just play some music and he falls right asleep. I dunno if he's still here, actually," he ponders thoughtfully. "Dunno where he would go otherwise, though."

Melanie shook her head and smiled at him. "No...you look completely serious." She says with a large smile. "That's kind of scary." She said imagining it. "Hm...Well did it have to be good music? Or just any music?" She asked curiously. "Because if it had to be good music then..it may be kind of hard to get him to sleep."

"Nah just an old music," Ron says. "I suppose it can't be too awful, though. I don't know if I could fall asleep with some horrible screeching in my ears. And this thing had six. Anyways, find any giant mutant animals yourself?" he asks with a smile.

Melanie nodded and smiled. "Yeah, I don't think I would be able to sleep very well if horrible music was playing." She said with a shrug and shook her head. "No...No giant mutant animals." She said with a slight laugh. "I'm hoping I'll be able to avoid all the giant mutant animals."

"Giant mutant animals aren't the only thing Hogwarts offers," Ron says in his best tour guide voice. "We also offer giant mutant trees, creaky old shacks, rouge wild animals, crazy teachers, and much much more. All for a very reasonable price."

Melanie laughed as Ron started acting almost like he was giving a tour or making a commercial. "You know...Have you ever thought about being in the Advertisement Industry after schooling?" She asked with a smile. "I definitely think you could do it." She said with a small laugh and a smile.

Ron can make a girl laugh? WHAT WHATTT? That doesn't happen often. "No not, really," he says, laughing as well. "I was thinking more along the lines of an Auror. What about you? Got any thoughts about post-graduation?"

"An auror, Eh?" She says nodding. "Sounds like a good job. I was thinking maybe a healer." She says nodding. "Seems like we both want jobs that we can help people while doing." She says with a large smile.

"Huh. I suppose so," Ron says with a smile. "Healing seems interesting, enough, I guess. I could never really get into it myself."

Melanie smiled and nodded. "Yeah, I don't know it just always seems so interesting to me." She says with a large smile. "Lets just hope I never have to see you in St. Mungos." She says with a smile.

Ron smiles back. They are a smiley pair, aren't they? "Hopefully I won't have to see you there either. Not that it wouldn't be nice to see you," he amends hastily. "It's just that...injuries are not fun," Ron finishes lamely.

Yes. Yes they are a smiley pair. They both just love smiling. Smiling is their favorite. "Yeah." She said nodding. "It would be nicer to see you maybe, at the Leaky Cauldron..." She said with a smile. "Somewhere where neither of us were injured or in trouble." She said with another smile. WOO. SMILES SMILES SMILES.

"Leaky Cauldron is nice," Ron agrees. "How about sooner, though? Have you been to Hogsmeade yet? It's quite nice there. It'd be cool to hang with a friend sometime. Somehow all of mine have gone missing, and new friends are always cool."

Melanie nods. "Yeah, I went down to Hogsmeade once. It wasn't during the day though so all of the shops were closed and just the three broomsticks was open." She said with a small shrug. "I would love to go though when I could see all of the shops and everything."

"Well, we could go in the daytime," Ron offers. "If you'd like to go with me, that is. We could just hang and visit all the shops. Maybe even the Shrieking Shack if you're up to it."

"Yeah." Melanie says nodding. "That sounds like fun. The Shrieking Shack? Is that like a haunted house type thing?"

"Er, sorta, I guess," Ron says. "It just creaks and moans a lot and looks creepy. But I don't think it's haunted."
