"Why, yes that wood bee me," he said rather happily, glad that he's being recognized as he should be. "But you see, my twin is sick at home and my new partner in crime is busy with class at the moment," he says because he thinks that's where Alicia is write now. "So until I meet up with her I'll be wondering around the halls and planning my next attack," he said jokingly.

"As much as I want to know what this next attack is, I probably shouldn't know, because I have a feeling it's going to be taken out on one of my Slytherin peers, so, it's probably best that I don't know," Dee said. "I bet it'll be funny, though."

"I'm not going to deny that it may or may not be on a Slytherin peer of yours," he said with a mischievous grin, imagining Draco's face when he looks in the mirror and sees himself as a fluffy ferret. "And yes, George and I do tend to pull the best pranks, so there's not doubt that'll it'll pull a few laughs out of even the most stuck up of the Slytherins."

"I believe those would be the Puffs. What happened to Slytherins only looking out for themselves, eh?" he asked with a slight smirk, interested to hear what Dee would have to say because he's never actually asked a Slytherin about their house.

I always figured the Slytherins would get really pissed off if someone messed with one of them. *shrugs*

"Well, there's that too. If I was with a Slytherin and we were about to be eaten by an acromantula, then hey, I'd let them get eaten. We Slytherins aren't Gryffindors, that's for sure. We don't care about saving people, that much. Might save my friends, though. Who knows?"

"Huh. It's nice to hear all of this from an actual Slytherin. Guess you're not all as bad as they say you are," he said with a grin as he leaned against the wall. "To be honest, you're the first Slytherin I've met that I actually don't hate. It's kind of nice, really."

Al ran down the hallway and stopped in front of James, still wet from his 'shower.' He frowned as he looked at his brother, who looked far from pleased with what he just saw. And who could blame him? Al felt terrible for how James had to find out. He had spent hours trying to figure out how to tell his brother about being gay, but none of those scenarios included James walking in on him having a gay encounter in the showers. Or anywhere for that matter. "James...I'm so sorry," he said in a weak, feeble voice, trying not to get emotional in front of his brother. "I wanted to tell you, I did. I just...I didn't know how, James. I'm sorry you had to find out this way. I really am. I...James...Please say something," he pleaded, looking at James with the saddest face, though he didn't expect any pity from James. He knew he didn't deserve it in the least.

James lifted his gaze up from the ground as he heard someone approaching, letting out a small groan when he realized it was Al. "Save it," he said with a slight growl. His brother continued to talk though and James realized he didn't want to hear any of it. Deep down, he really didn't think that it bothered him that Al was gay or that he was really that shocked. After all, it wasn't as if Albus had ever had any girlfriends. Sure, James had made jokes to Al, pondering his brother's straightness. The fact that those jokes now had truth behind him left James feeling slightly uneasy. "What do you want me to say?" he said, snapping slightly. "I hope that you and Malfoy have a wonderful life together and that you have my blessing. Is that what you want me to say?"

Al flinched at James' words, though he knew the worst was yet to come. "You see? This is why I didn't want to tell you in the first place. I knew you'd react like this," he retorted, unable to keep the hurt and anger out of his voice as he continued looking straight at his brother. "But I'm not sorry for being gay, and I'm not sorry for being with Scorpius. I'm just sorry I didn't tell you sooner, okay? And I don't know what else you want from me. I'm not going to stop being gay and I'm not going to stop seeing Scorpius just because you don't approve, James."

James figured that this confrontation was going exactly how his mind had expected when he had been pacing the hall moments before. He sort of was hoping that Al was gonna suddenly laugh at say "You've been punk'd!" or "April fools!" But no. His brother was dead serious. "You know Al, I honestly don't give a flying fuck that you're gay. That...that doesn't really matter to me. What matters to me is that yes, you did keep it hidden. Yes, it is a fucking Malfoy. When were you going to tell me? When the two of you decided to play house and moved in together? Of all the people, why the fuck him? Does it not matter to you what dad always said about the Malfoys? What does he think about all this, hmm? Mum? Lils? I bet I'm the last to know since clearly my opinions don't fucking matter."

"Dad doesn't know! Because I know he'll take this no better than you are right now, James. And I just fucking told you that I was planning on telling you soon," he shot back, annoyed that it seemed as if James wasn't listening to him. And since when did James have a say in who Al dated? Just because James was older didn't mean that he could control Al's social life. "I was planning on telling you before the Holidays, but...You're not exactly the easiest person to talk to about these things. And why do you care who I'm with anyway? First off, you don't even know Scorpius. He's not like his parents, James. He's his own person, as crazy as that sounds. And secondly, I don't need your approval. If I want to be with Scorpius, then I'm going to be with Scorpius and that's that."

James was momentarily stunned into silence. In fact, it kind of all felt like a slap in the face. He agreed that his father was going to have a fit when he found out. Of all the people in the world, Al had to be stupid and get interested with a Malfoy. It still made no sense to James. None. "I feel like I don't even know who you are anymore," he said quietly, slight bitterness in his voice. Things between them had shifted over the past few years. He recalled when they were younger, nearly inseparable yet troublesome. After Al had been sorted into Slytherin though, it seemed as though a small divide had set. This though, James couldn't begin to understand. "Fine. Go be with Malfoy. I'm not going to stand around and watch the train wreck though. When he hurts you, don't say I didn't tell you so," James said, taking a step away from his brother.

Al's jaw dropped as he failed to hide the hurt expression from his face. "If that's how you're going to be, then fine. But he's not going to hurt me, James," he said, wishing he felt as confident as he sounded. He had never thought that Scorpius would treat him like the others, but now he wasn't so sure. Hadn't he said that he would never hurt Rose? Yet he cheated on her with Al. How long was it going to be before someone more interesting came along, and Al got pushed aside? "Sorry for doing what makes me happy. It's a shame you can't accept my decisions and just be happy for me for once," he spat before turning and walking down the hallway, not wanting to hear anything else that would make him doubt his relationship with Scorpius even more.

Well shit. Now Scorpius is gonna have to think of a good response to that if Al ever brings it up. Having James and Scorpius hurts my head. Throw in Mama Gin-Gin and it's so much worse.

James just gave Al a mocking and amused look. Did his brother seriously think that Scorpius wouldn't treat him like one of the countless sluts? Apparently, he did. James wasn't sure if he was going to be able to stand around and watch it happen, for he had already given Al his opinion on the whole matter. He crossed his arms over his chest and glared slightly at his brother, knowing this had nothing to do with happiness. "That's not true and you know it!" he shouted after his brother's retreating form. He shifted as leaned against the wall, running his hands over his face as he thought about it all. What hurt the most though, was that Al had chosen Scorpius over his own brother. When had that even happened? When had he, James, become second best? Pushing himself off the wall, he made his way up to Gryffindor tower. He needed to shake his mood and thoughts, especially when he had a date that evening.

Ron is also walking down this hallway. What a shock. It's not like hallways are for walking or anything. Anyway, he's kinda lost in his thoughts and starting to feel really guilty for blowing up at Ginny the other week so he accidentally bumps into this girl who is also walking. "Oh sorry," he says, surprised by another human life form in the hall. "Wasn't paying attention."

Melanie gasped and jumped in surprise when someone ran into her and she turned to him, her breath still kind of quick because he had startled her. She hadn't expected other life forms to be walking in this Hallway at school. "Oh, It's okay." She said giving him a soft smile after her breath had gone back to normal. "I'm Melanie by the way. I don't think we've met." She said, holding out her hand.

Soccer, Baseball, Football." She said nodding.

"Yeah." She said nodding. "That's the basic idea of it." She said nodding. "Football is basically when you throw the ball to someone, they catch it, then run." She said with a light laugh. "I don't really like Football all that much, I just, It seems pointless to me. Soccer is definitely my favorite sport though. Then baseball you just hit a ball with a bat and run around in a circle without getting out. I don't know if I am making any sense right now..." She said and blushed a little.
