Re: The Hallway
Ginny jumped slightly when a voice suddenly interrupted her thoughts behind her. She honestly hadn't expected anyone to come up to her. Turning quickly, she glared at the blonde Slytherin in front of her. "Funny," she said with a slight snarl. "Took me an extra hour, but I did manage. No thanks to you of course," she huffed.

Re: The Hallway
Lucius chuckled and leaned against the wall, smiling cruelly at Ginny. "Shame. Maybe you should be more careful next time?" He laughed coldly and stood up straight, taking a few steps until he was directly in front of Ginny. "So, what are you doing in the halls alone? I mean, I know you don't have people to walk with but where could you possibly be going? Looking for loose change on the ground, perhaps?"

"Yes, I'll be much more careful next time I see an arrogant wanker sit down at my table in the library. I'll be sure to take my things and leave immediately." Crossing her arms, she took a step back when he moved forward, knowing that distance between the two of them would be best. "Some people actually have classes that they go to. I don't just spend all my time going around the halls and irritating people. There are better things to do than bother others."

Re: The Hallway
"Yeah, because you looked like you were heading off to class," he scoffed. "And you're right. There are better things to do. Not that any guy, or girl for that matter, would want to do those things with you," he snarled, looking her up and down with a look of disgust. She wasn't hideous, but she was a Weasley and that was enough to turn anyone off.

Re: The Hallway
"Oh, you're hilarious Malfoy," she said with a sigh. She pushed his comment away from her mind though, for she didn't want to start worrying about letting his comments get to her. In fact, she knew that they weren't true, yet she found little use in trying to convince him of this. It wasn't worth it. Uncrossing her arms, she tightened her school robes around her when she felt his eyes on her. "So why aren't you doing this better things then? Why are you still talking to me and not shagging some blonde girl?"

Re: The Hallway
"Because," he shrugged. "What's it to you anyway? How do you know I'm not on my way to shagging some blonde girl? Or on my way back from shagging one? Or maybe both," he grinned, leaning against his pimp cane as he waited for the Weasel to think of snarky to reply to that with. He didn't know why he gave Ginny such a hard time compared to the other Weasley's. They were all just as easy to get angry, but it was Ginny who he seemed to really get to and he loved it every time he finally found that one insult that really got her face all red and flushed.

Re: The Hallway
Ginny gave him a look of complete disgust. "You're absolutely repulsive," she said. "I wouldn't really be all that surprised if you didn't know any of the bimbos' names that you shag." She looked at him for a moment, taking in the way his blonde hair fell on his face. It was rather annoying, how he thought he was perfection and Merlin's gift to girls. Hell, that was how all of the Malfoy's acted though. It was ridiculous. After realizing that she was still looking at him, she pulled her gaze away and looked at the cane. What the fuck was the point of it anyway? He just looked even more ridiculous. On impulse, her foot quickly kicked the cane that he had been resting weight on. "Oops!" she said, putting on an innocent expression.

Re: The Hallway
"The names aren't importa--" The rest of his sentence was cut off by a surprised gasp as he felt himself falling, sidestepping a few times a she caught his balance, though it wasn't a graceful sight. "You bitch," he spat as he stood up straight. He let his temper take control and took a forceful hold of her shoulders, slamming her against the wall as he glared at her, his face inches away. "You really picked the wrong guy to mess with, you fucking whore," he whispered, not sure what he planned on doing with her now that he had her alone with no adults around to stop him.

Re: The Hallway
Ginny had known that he wasn't going to react well to her kicking his cane. What she hadn't quite expected though, was herself to be thrown into the wall. She was temporarily stunned by the physical and emotional force of his actions and words. "You're the one that chose to mess with me in the first place," she hissed, shifting as she tried to break away from his grasp. "Get off me she huffed, using her hands and trying to push his chest away from her.

Re: The Hallway
Lucius grinned menacingly as Ginny tried to push him away, removing one hand from her shoulder to rest it against the wall behind her, thought it was now dangerously close to her head. "Yes, but did I try to physically hurt you?" he asked quietly, ignoring her demand for him to move. "No, that was all your doing. Now tell me, Ginny, why would you want to hurt me just for a few silly taunts?" he asked, faking a pout as he kept her pinned against the wall, trying to ignore how dark her brown eyes were as she glared back at him.

Re: The Hallway
"I don't find your taunts 'silly' at all," she objected. "You're relentless with them and I've had enough. I'm sorry that your life is just apparently that dull that you feel the need to bother me for some sort of six amusement. Perhaps it's time you found yourself a new collection of blondes." She didn't like how close his body was to hers, her eyes unable to focus on anything except him. What she didn't like even more though was the way she immediately took notice to his change in expressions and they way she was able to easily decipher what he was thinking. "One last time...I'm telling you to get off me."

Re: The Hallway
Lucius found himself growing angrier by the second. He couldn't stand how infuriating Weasley was, yet he couldn't leave her alone. Every time he saw her he just had to give her shit for being a Weasley, being poor, anything he could think of. And she had a comment in return to every single insult he threw her way. "And if I don't?" he asked in a whisper, quickly remembering that Ginny was known for her bat bogey hex and he didn't want to deal with that. So as he spoke, he slowly removed his hand from the wall and pushed open Ginny's robes, his hand brushing against her side as he removed her wand and took it for himself, leaving her vulnerable and unprotected.

Re: The Hallway
She felt his hand move to the inside of her robes, her body immediately stiffening as her eyes widened slightly. More than relieved when he didn't do the worst thing imaginable, her emotions quickly shifted to sheer aggravation when he took away her wand. She quickly thought of what she could possibly do; what she could use to her advantage. Making up her mind, she lifted her knee in one jerk movement and hit his groin. "Need me to say it again?" she hissed. She told herself to remain strong and confident right now, though she was bracing herself for the worst. She knew what Malfoy was capable of, and the fact that she was alone in the hallway with him, scared her more than anything.

Re: The Hallway
Lucius' face showed Ginny just how much pain he was in as he dropped her wand to the ground, both his hands being too busy clutching his precious groin. "Bitch," he groaned in a hoarse voice, looking up at her with as much disgust as he could muster up. The worst part about her kicking him was that he actually found himself turned on by her violent behavior and that terrified him. So, to try and prove to himself that it was all in his head and that he didn't just think that particular thought about a Weasley, he pulled his hand away from his crotch and backhanded Ginny across the face in a single motion. "No," he said firmly as he stood up straighter. "I heard you loud and clear."

Re: The Hallway
Ginny felt more than pleased when she saw just how much her kneeing him in the groin and affected him. She heard her wand clatter to the ground and glanced down, noticing it right by his feet. Before she could even think of moving and grabbing it though, she felt his hand on her face. It was cool, yet seemed to leave a searing sensation after hitting her. The pain caused her eyes to water, yet she forced herself to not break down or show just how much his physical attack affected her. She remained frozen against the wall for a moment, her eyes locking on his. "Does this really help?" she spoke quietly. "Does seeing me in a position of weakness really make you feel better about yourself?"

Re: The Hallway
Lucius stood there, his face cold and emotionless as he looked at Ginny's face, her voice sounding weak and tired. Finally, he got her to shut up with witty, sarcastic remarks. But now that she wasn't her usual strong-willed self, he felt somewhat differently. Now that he had her like this, what was he supposed to do? And oh God, he really hoped she wouldn't cry. He couldn't stand it when women cried, even if he would take some pleasure in knowing that he caused it. "Yes," he murmured quietly as he took a step closer, bringing his hand up to take a firm hold of a chin, forcing her to look him in the eyes. "As a matter of fact, it does."

Re: The Hallway
That had been the last thing that Ginny had expected, himself quietly admitting why it was that he enjoyed messing with her. Her eyes remained locked on his, unable to help but look at him curiously for a moment as he continued to hold her chin in place. She really wasn't surprised as to why he often insulted her, yet they had reached a point where she had no idea how to react to him. She wasn't sure what to say for her mind was still reeling slightly. "Well thanks for putting my own insecurities on the line," she mumbled, using all the strength she could to pull her chin out of his hand and looking off to the side, not wanting to stare into his steel grey eyes any longer.

Re: The Hallway
Lucius looked into her eyes until she turned away, his expression hard and empty of all emotions even as she turned away. His hand fell to his side as her face left his grasp. There was really nothing more to say and he as finished with tormenting Ginny Weasley...for now. He held his pimp cane firmly in his hand and turned on his heel, walking back down the hall as if nothing had happened, keeping the pimp cane from hitting the ground as he left the girl alone in silence.

Re: The Hallway
She had refused to look at him, but soon became extremely aware of the fact that she was no longer being pushed against the wall. In fact, there was no contact and her surprise and curiosity caused her to reluctantly look at him. She noticed him walking away without a word and she found it difficult to tear her eyes away from his retreating form. The whole situation left her confused, yet she knew that the last thing she wanted was to be found in a hallway, or any place really, alone with him again. Bending down, she picked up her wand before leaving the hallway, swearing to never tell anyone about her run in with Malfoy.

Re: The Hallway
James, after receiving the letter, was running through the hallway to the Hospital Wing. The silly boy wasn't paying any attention to anyone he passed because he was just runnin' and a rushin'.

Re: The Hallway
Claire was wearing her wonderful glasses and her nose was stuck in a book. It was Modern Muggle Fairy Tales and it was relatively interesting. Interesting enough to keep her attention. She didn't even notice James running towards her, he also not paying attention. Before she knew it, he slammed into her, her book went soaring into the air, and she landed on her bum. "OW! Could you, perhaps, get off me? Whoever you are?" She opened her eyes and rubbed her lower back. Ouch. "Oh, James," she said with an eyeroll. "I should have known."

Re: The Hallway
James was shocked when he ran into someone, instantly feeling horrible about the whole thing as he too stumbled to the ground. "I'm so sorry Claire!" he said, eyes slightly widened. "I was in a hurry...not paying attention...all my fault," he managed to get out in fragments. Standing up, he held his hands out for her to grab, wanting to help her to her feet as well. "I really should have been more careful," he said.

Re: The Hallway
Claire was puzzled by James'...awkward behavior. Normally, he'd have a witty retort or make fun of her glasses or be nosy and ask what book she was reading and if it was interesting. Sometimes, he'd poke fun and ask if it had pictures. Claire took his hand and got back on her feet, smearing the dirt off her clothes. "James, what's up? You're never this apologetic and I know you would never be rushing to a class. Spill."

Re: The Hallway
James couldn't help but let out a small laugh. Him...running to class? Even just hearing the words in the same sentence was ridiculous. "It's my...well, I guess girlfriend though I haven't really asked her yet so I'm not really sure if she considers me that way though we are really quite on the right path to becoming girlfriend and boyfriend so I'm not sure what we really ought to call each other. I'm 99% sure she's my girlfriend. Well, see, she's in the hospital wing and now I have to go and see her and she's really hurt and I'm nervous and scared and need to get there but I'm about to have a panic attack and now it's getting harder to breath and it's really hot in here," he rambled, tugging slightly at his robes and loosening his tie from around his neck.

Re: The Hallway
Claire arched an eyebrow and stared at James as he rambled on like a weirdo. She wasn't bothered by it so much because she does the same thing whenever someone asks her a question. She was basically an encyclopedia that was waiting for someone to open it so it could yell information. Claire pat him on the shoulder and frowned. "Okay. Girlfriend. Got it. Hospital Wing? Guessing she's injured. Yup, injured." James seemed to be oblivious to anything Claire was saying, but it was alright. As soon as James started to REALLY freak out, she put her arm around his shoulders (which felt positively awkward). "Hey now, calm down. I'm sure she's fine. You know that no matter what nurse is there, they can handle anything. It can't be that bad...just breathe."
