Re: A Random Corridor
"Well, thats great, isn't it? You get to stay here and your mum gets to have a great job!" She brightly said, smiling, happy that her friend would be able to stay at Hogwarts for a while and experience all the amazing things that were here. "Plus, in the holidays, you get to be in London, which is amazing, but mostly the great fashion there!"
Re: A Random Corridor
Reed smiled "Yeah. I love London, it was always one of my favorite places to go when I was a kid." Reed looked up and then at his map. "Hey! This is the room, right?" He looked down at his map again, then at the room, then at Dem. His nerves skyrocketed again as he peeked in the room.
Re: A Random Corridor
"Mmm, London's amazing." Dem said, thinking of all the amazing stuff there, but mostly the fashion and then looked up at the room that they were now standing in front of. "Yep. This is the one!" She smiled at Reed. "But we can't go in yet until the teacher and the rest of the students are here though."
Re: A Random Corridor
It was a good thing Dem told him to wait, he was on the verge of walking right in. "Oh, right. Thanks. So, what do you do around here? Like besides classes and eating and stuff." Reed really never had time for anything 'fun', but it was nice to hear other people talk about it.
Re: A Random Corridor
"Well, there's lots of things that you can do around here. There's Quidditch, each house has a team and they play matches against each other to win the house cup. You can go to the library, play chess, roam the grounds and castle - unless it's after curfew. You can hang out in your dorm or in the common room and more. Basically anything. There's heaps to do here!"
Re: A Random Corridor
Reed nodded as she listed all the things to do. "Wow, that is a lot. I usually don't have a whole lot of free time, and I bet it's going to get even more cut down with school work. I don't have the luxury of being taught by my father anymore, so I probably won't be able to get away with as much." At this point we'll say that the teacher comes and ushers them in. "Ooh, okay. I'm really nervous now." Then they go in and have class and can continue the conversation back in the hall once class is done.
Re: A Random Corridor
"Oh, that sucks and I bet our schedules are going to become even more hectic this year with OWL's and all that." She said with a small sigh, thinking about how little free time she was going to be getting. "Oh, well I guess that it's time to go now. And don't be nervous. It'll all go fine." She told him with a smile as they walked into the classroom and they had their lesson and all that.
Re: A Random Corridor
After their lesson, Reed walked out of the room with a somewhat horrified expression. He was never the greatest at Potions anyways, since his clumsiness always got in the way, but that lesson was down right terrifying. He dropped just about every bottle placed in his hand, spilled his attempted potion everywhere, slipped on said potion and bumped his head. He shakily walked across the hall and slide down on the wall.
Re: A Random Corridor
After their lesson, Dem quickly walked out the door after Reed. She knew that that lesson hadn't gone the best way imaginable and she didn't want Reed running off and feeling awful. When she got out into the corridor, she looked in both directions to see if he had quickly gone off anywhere and then spotted him against the wall on the other side. She quickly dodged in and out of the students making their way to their next lessons and went and sat down next to Reed. "Look, I know that lesson didn't really go too well...." She started, trying to find the right words to comfort Reed. When she was at a loss, she just sat there next to him in silence.
Re: A Random Corridor
Reed had put his head in his hands. "That was terrible. Everyone was laughing at me, and I bet that teacher wants to throw me out. I just wanna go home." He sounded miserable and couldn't believe he made that big of a fool out of himself.
Re: A Random Corridor
Dem reached her hand up and put it around Reed's shoulders. "Look, it may have been awful, but at least it's over with." She said, then realising that that wasn't really helping the situation, she said, hoping that it was better than what she just said, "Okay, that lesson may have gone terrible for you, but it was only your first lesson, it can only get better from here, right?"
Re: A Random Corridor
Reed flinched a little when Dem put her arm around him. His parents were never the super affectionate type, and he had never really been around girls so this gesture was new to him. He blushed instantly and tried to sound a little more confident, but failed at that. "Maybe you're right." He sighed deeply and pulled out his schedule and his map. "Uggh, I have to go to my next class." He stood and looked awkwardly at Dem.
Re: A Random Corridor
Dem also stood up and brushed herself off and pulled out her own schedule to see what she had. "What do you have now? I have..." She quickly looked down to see, "Charms. Do you need me to take you if we're not in the same class or do you think you can manage all by yourself?"
Re: A Random Corridor
Reed shook his head, sending his curls bouncing all over. "No, I have transfiguration. I think I can manage." He tried to smile. "Hey, thanks for all your help Dem. I really hope I see you again soon?" He looked up hopefully at the first friend he's made at Hogwarts.
Re: A Random Corridor
Dem nodded, "Oh, ok then. That's good that you're going to try and find your way even though you're new." She smiled. "Yes, of course! Why wouldn't I want to see you again?" She asked him with a grin on her face.
Re: A Random Corridor
Reed's smile brightened. "Thanks again Dem. I'll see you around..hopefully soon! Bye!" He waved and started walking in the direction of his next class. About halfway down the hall, he tripped again, but luckily was walking along the wall so he didn't fall on his face.
Re: A Random Corridor
"Ok, bye! Good luck with your next lesson!" She brightly said, waving back to him. She then slung her bag over her shoulders and made her way up the stairs to go to her next lesson.

Neville was walking along when he saw his beautiful girlfriend sitting by herself and reading. He smiled a bit to himself and walked over to her. "Hi Audrey!" he said with a wide smile as he stood in front of her.

Audrey looked up and smiled, pulling her legs up so he had room to sit on the window with her, "Hey Nev, I haven' seen you in a while, how are you?" She leaned forwards and gave him a kiss as he sat down before leaning back against the wall again, enjoying the warm sunlight through the window.

Re: A Random Corridor
Neville smiled at her and sat down next to her. "I've been doing good." He said nodding. "I've been spending a lot of time in the greenhouses and in my garden. Nothing really surprising." He said with a grin. "What about you?" He asked her.

Re: A Random Corridor
Audrey shrugged, "Working in the potions lab mostly. I finally finished my project yesterday and turned in the final essay this morning so I'm spending the rest of the day doing nothing school related as a reward," she gave him a conspiratorial grin and glanced down the hall, "Just don't tell any other Ravenclaws, they might throw me out the house for doing something other than studying."

Re: A Random Corridor
Neville smiled and nodded as she said she was working on her potions lab. That was one thing he really liked about Audrey. He had his Herbology and he loved it and she understood his love for it because of her love for Potions. He grinned and laughed lightly. "I promise I won't tell anyone." He said with a wide grin. "We don't want you getting kicked out of your house after all."

Re: A Random Corridor
Audrey smiled at him, "That would be rather bad, I've gotten quite attached over the years." She dropped her book into her bag, "So how's the garden going? Have you started to grow the grapes up yet?"

Re: A Random Corridor
Neville grinned widely. "Yeah I started growing them not too long ago." He said nodding with a wide grin on his face. "So far they are starting to grow in really nicely." He said with a big loopy grin still on his face.
