Re: A Hidden Alcove
She had been completely absorbed with the book, finding it to be rather interesting. Though the book wasn't required for any of her classes or homework, the defense teacher had recommended it and Ginny had found much of the reading highly informative and intriguing. It was suddenly pulled from her hands though and her eyes widened when it was. Ginny wasn't surprised though to see who had ripped it from her hands. "Give it back," she said in annoyance. "Obviously I can read. I'm not a Neanderthal. Are you going to ruin the book just like you ruined my essay?"

"Now, why would I do that? Now you're expecting it and it wouldn't be nearly as much fun if you knew what I was going to do," he replied haughtily as he leaned against the wall, casually flipping through the pages of the book. "Defense," he scoffed, slamming the book shut as he looked down at her with distaste. "Figures. Lot of good that'll do you. At least read a book with information worth learning. Where'd you get this book anyway? Steal it? Doubt your family can afford the required books, let alone an unrequired book."

Well, she couldn't help but feel relieved that he wasn't going to ruin the book. After all, it wasn't her book and Ginny really didn't fancy explaining to the professor why it was ruined and offering to replace it. "I find this book to be extremely useful," she huffed. "In fact, it's full of things that I'll probably have to use one day. No, I didn't steal it," she said, nearly snarling from his insinuation. "A professor leant it to me," she told him. She stood up from the bench, deciding that him standing with her so below him, left her in a vulnerable position. "Not that I have any sort of obligation or need to inform you of such things."

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Lucius rolled his eyes and shoved the book back at Ginny as she stood up to face him. "Useful, hm? You say that, but I doubt you'd be willing to test it out," he said with a smirk, his hand fingering the serpent handle of his walking stick where his wand was safely stored. Of course, he wouldn't really try anything now. Not in a place where other teachers could easily walk by, but Ginny didn't need to know that. Besides, her confidence was starting to get on his nerves and he was hoping to bring her down a notch or two.

Taking the book immediately, she held it loosely at her side. "Why would I?" she asked, looking at him like he just suggested she eat fecal matter. "You're known for two things. One, causing physical pain, whether by using your wand or hand. Two, your carnal ways. Why in the world why I would subject myself to either of those?" she said, letting out a small snort. "Sometimes it amazes me the thoughts that go through your mind." Well. Guess that confidence must be really freaking irritating now.

"You know, I didn't sat anything about my carnal ways," he said in a soft, calm voice, raising a suspicious eyebrow at Ginny. "Something on your mind there, Weasel?" he asked, bringing his hand up to her chin as he brought their faces close together. He smirked and roughly let go of her face, lightly pushing her head to the side as he ripped his hand away from her. "Hate to break it to you, but just the thought of releasing my carnal desires with you is enough to make me sick."

Re: A Hidden Alcove
"I didn't mean it like that," she protested immediately, becoming slightly flustered when he came closer to her and actually touched. It was repulsive and so not needed. "Nothing is on my mind," she argued, glaring at him as he held her chin. After all, why would little virginal Ginny be thinking those sort of things? "Well I suppose that's one thing that we can definitely agree on," she said, more than relieved when he stopped touching her. "The thought of your carnal desires makes me sick as well. I honestly don't understand how half of your whores put up with you."

Re: A Hidden Alcove
"What isn't there to understand? They put themselves out there for me, and I give them what they want. Maybe. If they're lucky," he shrugged. "I tend to have high standards which leaves you out of the category of 'lucky' girls, not that I would so much as consider it," he spat with a cruel look of disgust. He crossed his arms across his chest and leaned back against the wall again. "Not all girls in this school are asexual like you," he added, keeping the grumpy attitude from his voice. He knew that she was a Weasley and that fucking her was the last thing he would ever consider, but it still annoyed him that there was a girl who would actually turn him down.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
For a moment Ginny found herself wondering just how many stupid girls were actually willing to get with Lucius. He was rude and heartless, only caring about himself in many situations. "Well thank Merlin. The last thing I want is for any sort of consideration to be one of your whores." For a moment she felt mildly offended. "I'm not asexual," she huffed. If this had been any other guy, she would have put that Gryffindor bravery to use and proved herself, seducing the other guy with simple touches, looks, and murmured phrases. This was Lucius Malfoy though, and that whole plan had no appeal whatsoever. "Just because I haven't had sex, doesn't mean that I'm asexual," she pointed out, placing the book against her chest and crossing her arms over it.

Lucius couldn't help but smirk as she admitted to being a virgin. He loved it when he was right. "Oh. Of course not. Silly me. You're completely right, it doesn't mean you're asexual. I'm sure your lack of a sex life has everything to do with the fact that no guy, or girl for that matter, would be willing to touch you with a ten foot pole. Don't be too hard on yourself though," he added with a false tone of sympathy. "It's not like you asked to be born a Weasley."

Re: A Hidden Alcove
"So it's my last name that makes it so no one wants me?" she asked curiously, moving the book so that she was holding it loosely at her side with one hand. "Or is it something more. Am I really just that horrible to look at? Horrible to endure?" she murmured, worrying her bottom lip between her teeth for a moment while subtly shifting forward slightly so that their bodies were closer. "Such a shame," she muttered, her pointer finger of her free hand moving to trail slowly from his chest to his stomach to right above his belt. "If only I wasn't a Weasley. Then again, if only you weren't a Malfoy," she said, shoving him away from her and then beginning to walk away.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Lucius watched silently as she spoke, looking more confused with every passing word. His eyes flashed angrily as he felt her hand off of him, but what angered him more is that he didn't even think to stop her. And then she turned to walk off...after shoving him! Well, he certainly had no intentions of letting her get away after trying to humiliate him.
"Oh, no you don't," he hissed as he reached out to grab her arm, inwardly cursing himself for realizing it was probably hard enough to leave a bruise. But as long as she kept her robes on, no one would have to see, right? He slammed her back against the wall of the alcove where no one would see them as he glared into those annoying eyes of hers. "You listen, and you listen good. It's not just that you're a Weasley. I could stand here and list a million reasons, got it? I will never want you," he whispered, his voice shaking as he tried to contain his rage. He wasn't really sure why he had gotten so angry over this, but now he was and it was taking a lot of energy to not do any more damage to this bitch than he already had.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
For a moment she had thought that she had managed to get away with the upper hand, but how foolish that had been. In an instant he had reacted, his hand wrapping tightly around her arm. She was sure that it was going to bruise, her arm instantly hurting from his grip. All thoughts of her arm hurting left her mind though as her back was slammed against a wall, herself unable to move. There wasn't much that she could do in reply though, instead just glaring back at him for a moment while he maintained the physical upper hand. "Good," she replied quietly, becoming more than annoyed with every passing second. "I don't believe I made any comments about you wanting me though. In fact, I find that an impossible and extremely unwanted thing. Would you let me go now?" she spat, her arm starting to lose circulation as he had failed to release her.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Lucius continued glaring silently for a few more moments before finally backing off. He cast one last warning glance at Ginny, as if trying to figure something out. She may have been different from most girls, but even she would be like them and not tell anyone else about what he did with her. And once he was sure of this he took a step back. "Get out," he commanded quietly, looking worn out and pissed off after their little chat.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Ginny was immediately able to decipher what the look that he gave her meant, and knew that she wasn't going to mention this to anyone. Hell, she really had no reason to. What good would come of complaining about what Malfoy did to her do? What shocked her though was that he was telling her to leave. She wasn't the type to let that go. "No," she protested, crossing her arms once more over her chest. "I was in the alcove first before you found the need to come and bother me. You leave," she said, looking at him with all of the hatred in the world.

Lucius glanced up when she refused to leave. "Excuse me?" He took a step towards her as he looked curiously at her face. What the hell was she thinking? He took one more step, his body almost flush against hers and his lips no more than an inch away from her ear. "You're really going to regret it...if you don't leave."

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Well, clearly he wasn't a very good listener, for coming closer to her was the opposite of what she wanted. All she was aware of, was that he was close. So impossibly close to her; his hot breath hitting her ear. "I'm tired of your threats," she said, telling herself to remain strong. "The verbal and physical assaults are enough Malfoy. Please...just stop."

Lucius felt his heart pounding as she kept defying him. He had always had issues with anger, but Weasley seemed to bring it out in him the worst. "Well, what do you prefer I do? Prove to you that they're not empty threats? I could certainly do that." He pulled away, but kept his face close to Ginny's. "I'm not going to tell you again. Get out."

Re: A Hidden Alcove
"What do you really plan on doing, Lucius," she said, spitting out his name as if it was venomous. "Going to hurt me? Going to make me crawl back to Gryffindor tower, have all my peers see and question why I'm in pain? Go ahead, do your worst," she challenged. "I was here first and nothing you can say is going to change that fact," she said, as defiant as ever.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Lucius rolled his eyes. "Of course not. I would never leave any obvious marks on you." He turned away and sat down on the bench in the alcove. He honestly had no idea what to do. The Weasley wasn't as submissive as last time and it was taking all his self control to not break her until she couldn't move anymore. "But I'm not leaving either, so I hope you don't mind my company." If he couldn't physically harm her and if the usual insults wouldn't work, he could at least drive her up the fucking wall with his annoying comments. Hell, she even found his presence annoying so why not just sit here?

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Ginny stared at him incredulously when he just turned and sat down on the bench. Well, she really hadn't expected him to do nothing. If that was going to be the case, then she was going to just pretend that he didn't exist and carry on with what she had been doing before he had interrupted her reading. "Fine," she huffed, sitting down on the other end of the bench, as far away as possible. She dug in her bag which had been left on the floor for a moment, then pulled out one of her licorice wands. They were one of her favourite candies and she enjoyed sucking on them as they slowly disappeared. Once she had the candy in one hand, she then reopened her book and began to read once more, paying no attention whatsoever to Malfoy.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Lucius didn't mean to stare when Ginny started sucking on her candy. It just sort of happened. And once he realize what was going on, he leaned over and ripped the candy right out of her mouth and stuck it in his own...Avoiding the part her mouth had already touched, obviously. He ripped that part off first and flicked it at her. Immature, yes, but also very high on the annoying scale which is what he was aiming for.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
She was startled when the candy was so suddenly ripped from her mouth. That was so not nice. Closing her book loudly, she realized that reading was just not going to be happening right now. She moved towards him and in turn took the candy back from him, stared at it in disgust, then flicked it in his hair. It was quite sticky because of the wet licorice, so it just stuck into that blonde hair of his. She gave him an innocent, Oops, did I do that? expression.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
Lucius' jaw dropped as he felt the sticky sugar in his hair and his face flushed angrily as he tried not to kill her right then and there. His hair...was ruined. And although he knew a spell to get rid of the candy, he would be showering for hours to get rid of the stuff completely. He pulled his wand from his pimp cane, his hand shaking as he performed a spell to get his cleaned of the sticky substance. "On second thought, I should go." He stood up but before he left, he ripped the book out of Ginny's hands and dropped it on the floor in front of him. Before she could pick it up again, he used a quick 'incendio' charm and left so Ginny could watch her book go up in flames.

Re: A Hidden Alcove
She felt extremely victorious when he said that he was leaving. No longer was she going to have to endure his annoying and arrogant self. She should have known though that he wasn't going to just walk away and let it all go. Sure enough, he took the book right from her hands and instantly burned it before she could do anything. She watched in shock and anger as the book burned, then lifted her gaze to watch him leave. It wasn't even her book! Now she was going to have to explain to her professor why it was ruined. Wonderful. Using a quick Aguamenti, she put out the fire and let it cool, then lifted it up to go and dispose in the nearest trash.
