After leaving the common room, and being left to his own thoughts, the gloom and sadness over his breakup with Jack settles heavily upon Remus again and he wanders about heading nowhere in particular. Knowing where a hidden alcove was, that's where he ended up, sitting and staring out the window onto the grounds below, lost in thought.

Kras is wandering about, still doing some exploring because it seems like no matter how much he does he still finds new places in the school. Peeking his head around a wall, he finds a hidden alcove. He was going to walk in but then realizes it's already occupied by what looked like to be a rather sad looking fellow. His Papa Bear senses go into overdrive and he knows he won't rest easily until he tries to cheer the guy up. Stepping into the alcove, he slowly goes over and sits on the ground cross legged across from the guy - a Gryffindor, Kras noticed. "Hello..I'm sorry to intrude on your privacy, but I couldn't help noticing how sad you looked and vos vondering if everything vos alright." He'd understand if the Gryffindor wanted him to leave.

Yay for doing scenes with one's self. XD

Remus had been so lost in thought that he hadn't noticed the tall guy join him. So much for his werewolf senses backing him up. Votever. He blinks down at the guy - a Hufflepuff, apparently - and doesn't know what to say for a moment. The accent sounded familiar...oh, it was like Viktor's. Maybe this was a friend of his who'd transferred here. "Er, I don't mind. And everything's fine, really. Nothing to worry about." He was lying, but he didn't care. It was easier than having to explain his problems to a stranger. "You're a friend of Viktor's, aren't you? You both have the same accent." At least this guy would provide a distraction for him.

Kras could tell the guy was lying. He had noticed that at soon as the Gryffindor had become aware of his presence some sort of walls had gone up - blocking the sad look he had noticed before walking in - but that didn't change the fact that it had been there. He wasn't going to pressure the guy into talking though, that's not how Kras rolled, so he'd just continue with light conversation and if votever was making the guy sad came up then Kras would do his best to try and cheer him up. And he was going to not stare so obviously cause the guy was kind of cute looking too, in an adorable sort of way. And now he was mentally smacking himself for calling a guy 'cute' and 'adorable'. What kind of guy likes to be called those things? Kras was pretty sure he was going crazy sometimes. "Oh, yes, I've known Viktor for ages. Ve vent to school together since ve vere younger. I transferred here earlier this year. I'm in seventh year actually. Name's Krasimir Svetkova, but you can call me Kras if you'd like."

Remus wasn't sure what to make of Kras, or the look over the guy had given him. It didn't make him uncomfortable, just bit awkward and he could feel a slight blush creeping up the back of his neck. His face was probably slightly quaffley now as well. Ack. Well, the guy was good looking, but Remus wasn't really all that interested at the moment. "It's nice to meet you, Kras. I'm only in sixth year, myself. Remus Lupin." He didn't feel the need to point out what house he was in - Kras had probably already figured it out by looking at his robes. "I'm a friend of Viktor's as well."

Kras is quite oblivious to any awkwardness Remus was currently feeling. Even more so when he finds out the Gryffindor's name. "Remus? As in..Sirius Black's best friend Remus?" his eyes widen slightly. So this was the guy that Sirius had been talking about.

"Uh, yeah..." Remus blinks, giving Kras an odd look. Why did the older man suddenly seem slightly nervous? "Why? Did Sirius do something? Am I going to have to try and get him out of trouble again or so? That guy is always getting into trouble." And even though he's saying such things, there's still a great deal of endearment in the tone of his voice.

"Oh, no. He hasn't done anything wrong." Kras shook his head. The endearing tone of which Remus was speaking of Sirius was making Kras feel guilty. He didn't know why though, he hadn't done anything wrong being with Sirius the other night and besides, Remus was dating that Jack fellow, right? "He's just an odd von, isn't he? He told me you two vere best friends. I vos kind of jealous listening to him, honestly. I vish I had a super close friendship like you two do."

"Oh he can definitely be a bit odd." Remus grins. He smiles slightly while Kras goes on about how he was jealous of Remus and Sirius' tight friendship. "Hm, well, we have been pretty good friends since first year. Lately it's been a bit difficult for the two of us, but.." he shrugs, instantly regretting saying anything at all because now he was thinking about Jack again and that was upsetting. "we'll make it."

"He kind of mentioned that I think. Something about being a bit distressed over you and your boyfriend - Jack, I believe his name is?" Kras continues on, oblivious to the look of distress that has over taken Remus' face while he stares out the window. "I'm sure your guys' friendship can pull you through though. He seems to really really care about you." And he still feels rather awkward, especially because the more he thinks about it the more he starts to wonder if maybe it's not just friendship the two guys feel for each other, especially when he remembers Sirius mentioning something about Remus kissing him at one point.

Remus pretty much feels his heart sinking lower and lower as Kras continues talking. It's practically impossible for him to keep his 'there's nothing wrong' facade going yet he's desperately trying to. "Well...he'll probably be glad then when he finds out it won't be an issue anymore." He hates hearing the bitterness in his voice and wishes he'd just kept his mouth shut. Yet words seem to continue spilling out and he tries to stop.. "It's all my fault though, really." And Sirius' for being the way he is and causing Remus to fall so freaking deeply in love with him. Not that Remus could blame him for that.

Kras catches the bitterness in Remus' voice and looks up, finally noticing the distressed look upon the other man's face. "Oh...oh dear, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything, but I had no idea...you didn't tell Sirius yet, did you? He must still think that...oh dear oh dear, I'm sorry." he panicked, flailing a bit. So this must of been the situation that had caused the sad look on Remus' face. "Vant to talk about it? I'm a good listener." He was trying to think of a way to cheer Remus up, especially since he had just pretty much really upset the guy.

Remus was starting to get a headache and feel slightly annoyed with this guy. "No...I really kind of don't want to talk about it, actually. I mean, thanks for the offer, but no." He would have to tell Sirius eventually of course. The thought made him wonder how exactly would his best friend respond to hearing the news. Probably will be thrilled inside, he never seemed to like Jack no matter what I said. Remus sat silently, lost in thought for a bit, oblivious to the stare he was getting from Kras.

"You think a lot." Kras couldn't help pointing out. He hops up off the floor and sits on the bench beside the Gryffindor. "I know this isn't the best change in topic, and you don't have to say anything if you don't vant too, but I vos vondering...vot's it like dating a guy?"

Remus lifts his chin from his hand, turning his face away from the window to blink at the Hufflepuff. "What? Oh...um, why do you ask?" He didn't know if he'd be able to tell Kras anything without thinking about Jack, but if Kras was asking for a legit good reason...he could at least try to help the other guy out.

"Vell...it's just, I've never really paid much attention to my own sexuality, or anything intimate related, before and the other night I vos vith a friend and he vos telling me some things and then to, uh, sort of help each other out ve ended up kissing...and then I vos still a bit confused and another friend, a girl, kissed me too to sort of help me figure things out. I kind of enjoyed both kisses, really, so I guess I'm interested in both genders...but, I vos just vondering vot it vos like being in a relationship vith another guy. Like I said, you don't have to say anything if you don't vant to." Kras was quaffley and was looking down, sort of embarrassed. He was also really hoping he hadn't upset Remus further.

Remus is surprised sometimes at how easily it is for other people to trust each other so readily as to tell them such personal things, especially considering how hard it is for himself to trust others. "erm, well, it's nice. Being with a guy, I mean. I don't really know what you want me to tell you..." he shrugged, trying not to think about his ex as he spoke, "I guess it's just like being in a relationship with a girl, except it's with another guy. Not that that helps you at all for comparison because you seem to have never been in a relationship at all," Kras nodded, "but...yeah, it's just really nice." he reddened lightly, figuring he wasn't being much help at all.

"Vell, I like it ven things are nice." Kras smiles softly, seeing how red and slightly awkward Remus was apparently feeling. "It vos nice being with my friend." Though saying that made him feel entirely guilty again, because he definitely had gotten a pretty clear feeling that Remus definitely had feelings for Sirius. "I guess everyvon has to have their own experiences though to get a good opinion, right? So your relationship vith Jack must have been really nice." It wasn't until after he'd spoken that he realized how tactless that had been to say.

Remus flinches at Kras' tactlessness, his heart thudding painfully in his chest. "It was." He stood, giving the stone floor an uncomfortable look as he decided maybe now was a good time to leave. "I should go..it's been nice talking to you."

Kras felt even worse now for being so tactless. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to be so tactless." He stood quickly, a panicked look upon his face, and grabbed Remus' hand, halting his departure. He'd never really held anyone's hand before and it was a nice feeling..but now was not the time to think about such things. He was being ridiculous. "You can go if you'd like...I just vant to apologize because I don't think I've made a very good impression upon you and have been kind of rude, and that vos definitely not my intention. Please accept my apology?"

Remus almost startles at the feel of Kras' hand taking his - it felt so much like Jack's yet at the same time different. He can't help clinging to it, slightly desperate for that feeling because oh how he wishes it was Jack's hand. "It's okay, don't worry about it." It was crazy how easily he could always forgive someone, yet it was so difficult for him to trust others. He bit at his lower lip, staring at Kras' hand in his, wondering now if he should continue leaving or not. He did have some studying to do, and some work to get caught up on that he had missed because of the other night's full moon. "I should still go though...there's some work I need to get caught up on..."
