LOL it's all good. And tell Kingsley it will do her some good... Inner!Molly is glaring at me right now. She's got this thing where she refuses to cry because her big brothers don't cry and she wants to be tough like them... *pats Inner!Mol*

HAHAHAHAHA I SAW THAT 'LIKE'!!!! *points and laughs*

Molly fiddles with the ends of her hair. "Uh huh. Good to be prepared and all that. But don't you think it, like, kind of sucks in a way? You have to do all this training and stuff, which I'm sure you quidditch players love because obviously you wouldn't even want to play if you didn't want to play, right? But then, like, you don't even get to play in the House Cup after all that! I mean, they should totally make a Reserve league or whatever so that you could at least play some games as well. That would be nice. Well, not for me, I'd get kind of bored, but I'm sure other people would find that cool. My sister Ali likes quidditch, she would totally want to see that I'll bet. So what position do you play? Beater? Or, like, Keeper because you could just stop in front of the middle post and nobody could get to any of them?" she guesses.

"Honestly, I'm not all that disappointed by that fact. I only tried out because I've played before and know I'm good." he shrugs, "So if our reserve team doesn't get to play as much it's not a total big deal for me. Means more study time." He gets a slightly annoyed look when she makes the comment about how it could be if he was keeper. Kingsley doesn't appreciate it when people make comments like that involving his size. "I play beater position."

*giggles* My greatest fear is that one day I'll be writing an Evan post, and 'like' will just, like, slip itself in there without me realising...

Molly doesn't notice the annoyed look crossing his face, because when she looks up the sun is in her eyes, so her gaze is resting at sort of chest height, and she's using his body as sort of a shade. She can't help but notice he does have a very nice chest, though. "Oh. Well. Doesn't that, like, kind of defeat the purpose or something? Like, if you're not totally into it or whatever? I mean, what if there was someone out there who IS totally into it and is all, like, super bummed that they didn't make the team and would totally kill to be Captain?" she muses, her head tilted to the side. "You're totally into your studies, aren't you? You must be, like, studying for something, right? Because nobody studies just to study," she says, her expression indicating how very foreign a concept that is to her even though Inner!Hermione is looking faintly horrified. "You're all, like, career minded about this stuff, aren't you?"

OMG XD *dies* I will fall off my chair laughing the day there's a 'like' in Evan's post that just isn't necessary to be there.

Kingsley doesn't entirely hate it when girls check him out. So he wouldn't mind Molly noticing that he does have a very nice chest. Kingsley thinks Molly's not that bad looking either...it just sucks that she's so darn annoying.
"I know a few people who study just to study." Kingsley replies shortly. "But yes, I am rather career minded, you could say."

*giggles* I think Inner!Evan will kill me. OMG THIS IS TOO MUCH FUN!

Molly shrugs. "I still don't get it. It's not exactly fun, or whatever. One of my dorm-mates totally does that and she is, like, kind of uptight about stuff at times and it's just, like, if she cracked a joke half as often as she cracked a book, she totally might enjoy herself or something. Because really, sometimes you just have to have a little fun, you know?" She gets a horrified look on her face. "OhmyGod! You do know, right?" she feels the need to check, because Kingsley honestly doesn't look like he's done a mindlessly enjoyable thing in his life in Molly's eyes.

Kingsley's face couldn't look more annoyed by this point. "I do know."

[*is dead* Inner!Molly hates me just a little bit for removing her brain-mouth filter for this conversation... She's sitting in here going 'OHMYGOD DID I REALLY SAY THAT!? I AM, LIKE, TOTALLY NOT THAT RUDE, RIGHT? RIGHT....?]

Molly looks visibly relieved. "Oh, good. I was, like, worried for a second there. So, like, what do you do for fun, and do you only do fun stuff when you're taking a break from study? And how many hours a day do you study because I don't even know how someone would even go about finding that much stuff to study unless they were, like, making up their own assignments or whatever and that's kind of sad, and doesn't leave much time for doing other stuff you know? Like hobbies and friends and stuff and that stuff is actually kind of important I think because everybody needs to relax sometimes which is why I like to knit and bake things a lot, plus I have a big family to do all that stuff for, but even if I didn't I would probably still want to do something like-"

[*dead...just...dead* Inner!Kingsley isn't too thrilled about my reply...but his head really does hurt...]

"Molly, just stop." Kingsley interrupted, "Stop. You're giving me a headache, you know that? Why do you talk so much?" he shook his head. Kingsley was hardly ever rude like this to a girl - when it came to annoying guys Kingsley never really gave a damn - but with Molly it was just hard not to be. Her brain-mouth filter had to be completely broken or something and he hated to have to stop at the hospital wing all the time for a headache potion. "Nevermind, don't answer that. It'll probably take you two whole days or something. I have to go." And with that he picked up his broom and walked off quickly.

[Inner!Molly literally stepped back like she'd been slapped. I died laughing. THAT WAS BRILLIANT!]

Molly actually has opened her mouth to begin answering his question, of course, and it sort of hangs there for a moment as he turns and walks away from her. "But..."
She frouts, the ghost of a hurt expression crossing over her face as she watches him turn and stalk off. Her eyes harden just a little bit. "That was, like, so rude," she mutters stubbornly, watching his large form shrink into the distance. A little confused - she's never really even been told to shut up before, let alone been cut off quite like that - she finally turns and walks away, deep in thought.

[Awww! Poor Molly!! Inner!Remus is still telling Kingsley how rude that was. He's horrified by it.]

Aaaand Kingsley's back here again. He flew for a bit but now he's just doing some exercises and what not down here at the pitch.

Hehe. Kingsley totally ignores how obviously Caradoc is checking him out. He's used to getting checked out by girls and guys, but he's only interested in girls himself. He does notice that the other guy is definitely good looking, but that's it. "Hey."

"Don't think I've met you, though I've seen you around. It's Kingsley, right? I'm Caradoc Dearborn. Call me Rad," he said, extending a hand politely after seeing that this guy is clearly straight.

"Yes." Kingsley figures most people see him around - he's really not that hard to miss. "Nice to meet you, Rad." He takes Rad's offered hand in his own large hand to shake.

Caradoc has a firm handshake to match Kingsley's, of course. "A pleasure. Whoa, hold up, is that Old Spice I smell?!" he exclaimed excitedly. "Yes it is. After Hours, too. I'd know it anywhere. You're cool."

Kingsley appreciates a person with a firm handshake. He can't help grinning when Caradoc exclaims about the Old Spice. "It is. I never use anything else. You seem like an Old Spice guy yourself." Kingsley doesn't totally get really excited about these things, or shows it anyway, but he was kind of excited that he'd met two really awesome guys like himself that used Old Spice around here.

"Of course, can't you smell the Swagger? Just the other day, I was perfecting my swan dive while wrestling the giant squid," he said with a bright smile, because even if he only has three emotions- happy, angry, and horny- he does like to show them. "So, what're you doin' out here? You on the team, or just chillaxing?"

"I'm captain and one of the beaters for the reserve team. Figured I'd get some flying done while I'm outside and had a little free time." Kingsley shrugged. "Doubt they'll need us though, the Gryffindor Quidditch team is amazing. Do you play?"

Molly made me quote this. She doesn't know why, but she said I had to do it. Poor, oblivious girl. *pats*

"Yeah, I'm one of the Hufflepuff chasers! Maybe we'll play each other sometime," he said, totally wishing he could say that in another sense, but having the distinct feeling he might get thwapped for something like that, and that would hurt.

Hermione is here, sitting quietly in the stands and reading, because she has discovered that when there are no practices happening, the pitch is a lovely, quiet place in the fresh air. It's perfect for studying, really.

Luna is walking along here for some reason and sees Hermione reading a book. She smiles and walks over to sit down next to her. "Hermione! Hi!" she greets with a happy smile, not doing anything else in case someone sees or something.
