Caradoc is walking out to the pitch.
He looks like this.
Yeah, I just really like posting this picture, because it amuses me.
And yeah, he's got his broom for practice, and a quaffle.
Oh hey look, it's his favorite lesbian couple! Only, yeah, he doesn't know that, he just sees Luna, and some girl.
Caradoc waves at Luna and grins, walking over to say hi.

"Hey, beautiful! How's it going?" he greets Luna, hugging her briefly and grinning down at his lil' sis. "Oh, hey there, I don't think I know you, I'm Caradoc," he said, introducing himself to Hermione and smiling brightly at her, because he's in a smiley mood, as always.

Hermione grins at Luna and reaches for her hand on instinct, because it's been a couple of days since their date and she's been so busy with homework that she hasn't seen Luna since. She's missed her very much. Just as her fingers close around the other girl's, she spots movement and a very tall ~~football~~ quidditch player makes his way over to them. Hermione's hand curls away from Luna's and she wills herself not to blush at the moment of impulsiveness. She watches as the two blondes hug, and then smiles at the introduction.
"Hello. I'm Hermione."

Luna smiles when she sees Rad, but suddenly feels extremely guilty about telling him about her and Hermione because she promised Hermione she wouldn't tell anyone. "Hey, Caradoc," she says shyly, blushing slightly because this is an interesting situation.

Caradoc blinks at Hermione's name, comprehension dawning. He turns to look at Luna in surprise, and promptly grins at her, 'cause he totally approves so far. "A pleasure to meet you, Hermione! Luna's mentioned you before, it's nice to finally meet you," he said, not trying to sound as if he knows, but you know, he's not really being tactful, either.

Hermione blinks at the enthusiastic greeting, her eyes not missing the look of surprise, or the approving grin before Caradoc begins to gush about how much he's heard about her. She bites her lip, and something feels just a bit odd about the whole situation. She shoots a slightly apprehensive glance at her girlfriend, before turning her attention back to the older boy. "Erm, it's nice to meet you too," she says, a little hesitant. "Beautiful day." Yep, awkwardness ahoy.

"Er. Yes. I told him...a lot about you... Um...Hermione? He knows...About...Well, he knows," she says awkwardly, shooting Hermione the most sympathetic look of all time that just screams 'I love you, please don't hate me for this because I wouldn't have told him if he didn't make me.'

Hermione freezes, her blood running cold and her eyes widening fearfully, fixed on Luna's apologetic face. Her face flushes with embarrassment and her mouth opens to speak, although no words come out.

Caradoc blinks, sensing the tension between the two of them, and immediately steps back, uneasy. "Er, shit. I-- I haven't told anyone, don't worry, Hermione, she only told me because I knew something was up, I kinda forced it out of her. Don't be mad at her, I swear, it was all me!" he said quickly, not wanting to be the cause of any tension.

Hermione can't even look him in the face. She can't even look Luna in the face anymore, her eyes falling to the book on her lap as if she can hide from the world in there. "I don't know - I didn't want - wasn't ready..." she stammers. "You told," she whispers, still talking to her book. She can feel the blood rushing to her face, pounding in her ears and she doesn't even know why she feels so violated, why she has so much trouble with this. She just knows that her worst, most irrational fear just came true.

Luna's face turns pink and shes looks down at her hands in her lap. "I'm sorry," she says quietly, feeling terrible for telling. She promised Hermione one little thing and she couldn't even do that for her. She'd been so happy about being with Hermione and she blew it just like that.

Caradoc's expression hardened, and he shook his head. "Hey, don't apologize, really, Hermione, it wasn't her fault, it was all mine, I really did coerce it out of her, if you're gonna be mad at anyone, really, be mad at me, it wasn't her fault!" he said indignantly, not at all liking where this conversation was headed.

Hermione struggles for control, still staring down at her book. The words on the page blur as her eyes water, but she blinks it back. "Ok, fine, I understand." She takes a deep breath and looks up at Luna, her eyes still glassy with the slight sheen of moisture in them. "I'm really sorry, I've got to go. I'll see you later," she rushes out, running off so hastily she leaves her book bag behind.

Caradoc shifted guiltily and looked at Luna with sad eyes. "Oh, Luna, I'm so sorry-- I didn't mean to get between you two," he said quietly, feeling terrible.

"Um. It's fine. Don't apologize. It's my fault for telling when she told me not to," she said quickly before noticing that Hermione left her bag. "Oh. She left her bag. I'll see you later, okay?" She forced a small smile before grabbing Hermione's bag and hurrying off in the direction she saw Hermione heading in.

Viktor and Cedric walk out onto the pitch, talking about cool stuff before they hop on their brooms and take off, flying around like the awesome buddies they are. Life is good.

Cedric is the best seeker in the whole school, no doubt about that. He does a couple cool tricks, just to show how much better he is than Viktor to the, oh, let's say, three people in the stands. That's right. Cedric Diggory, better than Viktor Krum. And maybe he would have been. Whose to say he wouldn't have become a professional Quidditch player if he hadn't been, y'know, killed and all.

Cedric attempts a wronski feint and dies. This is my post. Oh, yeah. Perhaps he's dying on the ground, in pain. Or something more manly than that. He's just down there, hanging out. Something's wrong though, that much is obvious. Man, that is the one move he could never do. No one would ever teach him, either. Strange, when his best friend is famous for it.

Viktor will so teach it to him if Cedric doesn't die. But for now, he flies down to the ground and hops off his broom to kneel down on the ground by his friend. "Cedric? Cedric?" he asks nervously as he nudges his buddy's arm. "Don't you dare die, you got that?" Cedric couldn't be dying. Cedric Diggory does not sound like the name of a person who dies. Nope. "...Cedric?"
