"A dancer? That's cool. Um. I really like studying magic, actually," he says with a shrug because that sort of sounds boring compared to dancing and running. "Like, advanced magic. The stuff I learn in class is really easy, so I get bored with it after a while."

Regulus smiles because this whole making friends thing is pretty easy now that he's getting used to it. Poor kid. He just wants friends...And to be a Death Eater...Um. <.< "I'm a Slytherin," he answers. "What about you?"

Polly likes making friends in general...she doesn't want to be a Death Eater though, so Regulus should keep that to himself. *nods* "I'm in Ravenclaw. Ze people zere are reelly nice. I 'aven't heard a lot of good zings about Slytherin, but you and Lucius don't seem so bad. Maybe eets only certain people in zere zat aren't very nice?" Especially the girls...Polly's heard a lot of things about the slutty girls of Slytherin. She figures they all have lots of diseases or something. Especially that Alecto chick. She's heard of that one. Aren't rumors fun?

"Yeah, a lot of people say that about Slytherins, but I don't think they're that bad. They're just good at getting what they want, I suppose," he shrugged. "Even if it means breaking the rules a bit, but from what I hear, we're not the only house that breaks the rules," he smirked a teeny bit. He's not really a smirker but he's picked up a few things from his brother.

Polly is pretty sure that tiny smirk was, like, the cutest thing ever. Just saying. She laughed and did an awesometastical hair flip to get her hair back behind her shoulder. "Oh, I'll bet. I 'ear zere are some Gryffindors who are quite ze rule breakers. I 'aven't met 'im yet, but I 'eard zat Sirius Black fellow ees quite ze troublemaker on occasion. I myself 'ave broken a few rules or two at times." she shrugs like it's no big deal.

Regulus is in awe of the hairflip. Just saying. "Oh, him. Yeah, that sounds like Sirius. He's pretty well known for breaking the rules," he says with a sigh because his brother is so cool, and Regulus...is not. "He's my older brother, actually. But we don't talk much."

"Oh, well...Er- We just have really different friends, and not a lot in common," he shrugs. "He's alright sometimes when we do actually have a conversation, but usually we both just sort of stick to doing our own thing, you know?"

Polly does things like that sometimes. "I'd be a good older sibleeng." she nods to herself in total agreement.

Regulus grins because he sort of likes the idea of having a real older sibling that he can talk to about stuff. "Really? That would be...That'd be awesome!" Regulus thinks Polly would be really good at giving him advice about girls too, come to think of it.

Polly blinks, shocked that he actually agreed to it, because she'd been slightly expecting him to call her nutters or something. "OH. MY. GOD, YOU AGREED! YAY!" She squeals and tacklehugs him, luckily managing not to knock them off the dock. "Oops...haha, didn't mean to go crazy on you zere." She grinned and helped Regulus back up to a seated position. "But wow! I'm so excited! And don't you worry, I'll be ze best sibleeng ever! You can come to me for 'elp wiz anyzing, okies?"

Regulus beams because although Sirius can be a good brother, he only helps out Regulus when it's convenient for him and his friends aren't around. He laughs at the tacklehug, hugging Polly back before he gets back to his comfortable seated position. "I'm sure you will be. It'll be nice to have someone to talk about, I don't know, stuff. Stuff I don't wanna talk about with friends." And don't worry, Regulus won't go to Polly for the sex talk...Just saying.

Polly would have no problem giving her new younger brother the sex talk. She figures it might be less painful for him anyway if he came to her rather than Sirius. After all, could you imagine Sirius giving someone the sex talk? Yeah. Poor Reg might end up scarred for life. "Well, you can always count on me!" she grins, figuring that this is the best day ever because she's always ALWAYS wanted a younger sibling. "I'll listen to anyzeeng you want to talk about." Yeah, anything. Really, cause Polly's not going to get all embarrassed by whatever. She's pretty awesome like that. Won't turn totally quaffley like 1.0 Polly and get all shy.

Oh my god, this is true. Regulus would not want to talk to Sirius about sex because that would just not go well for little Reggie. Maybe he will talk to Polly about that if he ever gets a girlfriend..."Thanks, Polly! This is going to be great! I'll be sure to come to you if I ever need help with anything," he said with a big smile on his face. Well, yeah on his face. Where else would his smile be?

"Um. There's really not much to tell," he admitted rather sheepishly. "I'm not nearly as cool as my brother. He's always been the one with the looks, the charm, and all the cool friends. Really, all I do is study magic and hang out with the few friends I do have. I tend to spend a lot of time by myself, actually. Not that I mind much. My friends are pretty awesome, even if I don't have a bunch like Sirius does."

Polly gives him a warm smile. "Personally I zeenk you're cooler zan your bruzzer. Looks, charm, and cool friends really aren't all zat important in ze end, eet's 'ow you treat uzzers, stayeeng true to yourself, and such. Does zat make sense or did I lose you?" she giggled, pretty sure she had already lost herself with all that. She just hoped it sort of made sense to him.

That makes perfect sense to Regulus. He's greaming now. Polly is so nice and sweet, and makes him feel good about himself unlike Sirius, who always makes him feel lame and inferior. "No, no. It makes perfect sense, Polly. Thanks. That was really nice of you to say," he said with a smile, having a feeling that things were going to be a lot better with someone like Polly around.

Polly is greaming too and has to resist hugging him again because she thinks he's just the most amazing younger brother already. Plus now she's thrilled that he understood what she was trying to say and actually appreciated it. "Well, eet was true." she giggled, still greaming, "You deserve to 'ear zings zat are true like zat." She liked seeing people smile; it was way better than seeing them frown. Plus something was telling her that Regulus didn't hear things like that very often and that made her sad. He seemed like a really nice guy.
