Regulus doesn't refrain. He hugs Polly again. "Well, you're a really sweet girl, Polly, and I bet you have loads of cool friends," he said grinning. "Anyway, I better get going. I've still got some homework to do. See you around." He smiled...and hugged her again before leaving because it's time to focus on the Krupin date.

Polly greams agains as Reg hugs her twice. She hugs him back and totally refrains from ruffling his hair because she knows that's just NOT the sort of thing you do with gorgeous hair like theirs. *nods* "Well, you're a great guy, Reg. Good luck wiz your 'omework, I look forward to seeing you again!" She smiled and then went off to finish her running after he left and then went back to her dorm.

Molly is sitting on the dock, knitting, just like she used to do in 1.0 with lots of sunblock and her big sunnies on because even though it's getting cooler, UV rays are no joke to a pale little ginger.

Fabian enters in a flare of awesome glorious awesome cool fabulous coolness. Bro. He lights up when he sees Molly because they omghaven'ttalkedinlike,forever!!! And he misses her. So, he sneaks up behind her and tackle hugs her. "MOLLY!" He cries, forgetting the size difference between them.

Molly is just happily knitting away when she's tacklehugged by something about twice her size. She screams, and her ball of yarn goes scattering off the edge of the dock into the water below, but Molly so does not care right now because that thing that is twice her size and trying to play rugby with her while she's sitting down is Fabian! "FABIAN!" she screams back, twisting so she can hug him right back and she's so happy to see him she sort of forgets to stop hugging him. "Like, ohmyGod where have you been? Totally haven't seen you in forever Fay and Rad said he was hanging out with you some but I was totally about to file a missing persons report or whatever because he's like the only person that's seen you that I've talked to and he totally could've killed you and fed the body to the giant squid and like who would even know?" Yep, she said all that in one breath. "So how've you been?" she asks, greaming.

Fabian grinned. He missed Molly. She was one kick-ass chick. And she was totally right about the squid thing. That Caradoc guy... What a shady fellow. "I've been hanging out with Caradoc a lot, but not doing much else, unfortunately. Let's see-- I've managed to not get killed, eaten, burned, or too badly injured... OHMYGODMOLLY GUESS WHAT?!" He didn't wait very long for her to respond. "I COOKED A LITTLE WHILE AGO." He puffs out his chest in pride. "I thought you would be very pleased with that information. And you? How have you been?"

Molly is very pleased to be hearing about Fabian's lack of death or major injuries, but say WHAT!? Molly's eyes widen and she gasps aloud. "Like, ohmyGod what!? You cooked!? Fay, that is, like, the most dangerous thing you could ever, ever do! You know you're meant to come find me when you're hungry! Merlin, talk about a brush with death! Don't scare me like that," she whimpers. But, she's hanging with Fabian which is, like, the coolest thing ever right now because he's so awesome and she's missed him so much, so she's back to greaming. "Me? I've been, like, totally awesome. Because, like, duh, that's our thing, right?"

He flipped his hair, because he is Fabian Prewett and therefore hair flipping does not need to be justified. "Brush of death? Danger?" He repeated, shocked. "What is this nonsense? I will have you know that I am an excellent cook! Why, my nutella didn't burn once!" He beamed. "Oh, and speaking of baking, have you by chance... Baked anything?" He raised a suggestive eyebrow.

I don't even know how I ended up being the only Prewett with kitchen skills," she sighs, then gives her brother a devious smirk. "Speaking of, I have indeed been baking lately. What's it worth to you, big bro?"

Fabian's suggestiveness drops as his face lights up. "Oh, I've just been dying for some of your cookies--or Cookies, I guess, but you know, whatever like, floats your boat." He stopped, realizing what he just said. "Oh Merlin. I just said 'like' in the middle of a sentence. Molly, your teenage girl-ery has officially rubbed off on me. I am ashamed. How does it feel, Molly Prewett, to know that you've stolen the last of your favorite brother's--" Shut up, Fabian is TOTALLY Molly's favorite. Like, I don't even know who this Gideon guy IS. "--manhood?"

Molly's eyebrows hit her hairline and her eyes light up because she is totally, like, a verbal trendsetter. Then she spends a good two straight minutes giggling. "Uh, Fay-bee? If I stole the last of it, like, what happened to the rest? Votever, here, have a cookie," she says, pulling an m&ms cookie out of her bag and handing it to her fabulous brother, following it up with a big teenage girl hug, because she loves her brother even if he does have no manhood left.

Fabian grinned and returned her hug, secretly much happier than he should have been for the cookie. "Thanks!" He said, not bothering to hesitate with eating it. "My manliniff? Wull, Caradoc stole it. Whunebuh he woks into a room, it's like zap! All manliniff gone!" He swallowed the large amount of cookie in his mouth. "Speaking of men, d'you have any man tales? Or rather--Male Tales? You know, because it rhymes and all? Get it?"

Moly tilts her head to the side a little and twirls a strand of hair around her finger, because that sounds a little odd. (I don't know if you want people figuring out that Fabian's gay yet, so I'll just leave her clueless for now til you give me the go ahead XD) "Well you should just, like, waltz right up to him and say 'hey, that's mine!' and take it back," she giggles. "I don't even know how you would do that really, but you totally should! Ha, Male Tales - awesome. But no, not really. Did you know that, like, a huge chunk of the male population at Hogwarts is either gay, my brother, or a total jerk? It sucks, Fay, and even all the boy-watching Viktor and I do over breakfast every morning, like, hasn't paid off yet. Well, except for the view and getting to hang out with my BFF of course," she greams, because BFF boy-watching time is Molly's favourite time of day.

Assuming he passes the Prewett Test of Worthiness and all." He smiled brightly, as if having said nothing. "Oh, I've met Viktor--didn't know he was gay, though. But that's cool--Boy-watching? Oh Merlin, poor unsuspecting passerbys. Not knowing that they're being visually stalked by a small ginger and her gay sidekick." He smiled. "I'm glad you have fun with him, though. And I can't suppose that he's a worse influence on you than Gid, Alice, and I are, right?"

Molly greams and hugs Fabian, ignoring the fine print because she expects nothing less from one of her big brothers who sometimes forget they're not actually bodyguards. "Viktor is, like, super manly and stuff even though he's gay. He's the coolest non-Prewett," she gushes because OMG Molly loves her BFF so much. She giggles and tosses her hair lightly over her shoulder. "Hey! Those poor unsuspecting passerbys would, like, totally love being visually stalked if they knew exactly how awesomely attractive that small ginger and her gay sidekick are. And please," she scoffs, "I don't think anyone could be a worse influence on a Prewett than the rest of Prewett-kind. OhmyGod, though, Fay - you should totally hang out with us sometime! I mean, I have, like, no freakin' clue how to go girl-watching, but I could give it a crack for you. Viktor says I have a pretty accurate gaydar ~~except for that whole Rad fiasco~~ so I bet I could adapt to anything!"

I always post Lils and Hermione studying, so we're changing it up a bit this time. Lily is taking a nice, relaxing stroll in the fresh air before it gets too cold to go wandering around the grounds without fifty layers on. So she's strolling along the dock, idly looking for the Giant Squid because she once said she'd rather date Marvin than Potter. She's comfortable with that choice.

Gideon is coming out of the castle when he sees someone he hasn't met. And not just someone, a someone of the female persuasion. Since when does Gideon not know all of the Hogwarts girls? Especially redheads, there can't be that many around (because Gideon hasn't met... any Weasleys that are redheads yet.) He strolls up alongside her casually, admiring her hair. It's almost as nice as his, which he runs his hand through as he introduces himself.

"Hi there, I'm Gideon Prewett. I don't think we've met."

Lily freezes for half a second when she hears a male voice speaking to her, but relaxes instantly. Not Potter. Abort Defence Mechanism One: Face Slap On Sight. Lily glances at her new companion briefly, smiling, before looking ahead again to watch where she's strolling. "Hi. I don't believe we have. Nice to meet you, Gideon, I'm Lily Evans." She thinks a moment, processing the surname and deducing that this must be one of the older brothers of two of her dorm mates, but doesn't comment on for now. 'Your sister annoys the death outta me' isn't the best conversation starter, Lily suspects.

Gideon smirks, having finished with his hair. She does have the most amazing eyes, but even Gideon thinks it would be awkward to tell her that, even if it is true. At least, this early in the relationship. "Lily? What a gorgeous name. It suits you." He says, tring not to come off as cheesy but probably failing.

Lily arches an eyebrow slightly, because that was just a little cheesy and she's vaguely worried that Potter has somehow gotten a hold of some Polyjuice potion to infiltrate her Potter-free zone. Gideon grins, a little embarrassed to be caught out with that cheesiness, but mostly because of her comment. This will be a challenge, and Gideon Prewett loves a challenge. He walks in silence for a moment, trying to think up a witty retort. It's a long moment. "That's true, I suppose," He says finally. For what is perhaps the first time EVER, Gideon Prewett is without a witty retort, so he simply says something lame and generic. "So, what House are you in?"

Lily blinks. That was just a little different from what she's used to. She's used to her witty, borderline snarky retorts being met with a challenge and a resulting train wreck, and instead she's met with a grin and polite conversation. She grins back. "I'm in Gryffindor. You have younger sisters, right? Molly and Alice? They're in my dorm," she says, because she's trying to be polite too. This 'polite' business is somewhat new territory for Lily when it comes to talking with members of the opposite sex, and she's momentarily forgotten that she wasn't going to bring up things that may lead to confrontation. Like annoying dorm mates.

Gideon relaxes a little at Lily's grin. This was so... refreshingly normal. Not that Gideon is normal, but that's another issue. "Oh, yeah. That's my sisters! Are you friends? I don't think they ever mentioned you, but I don't think we've ever talked about their dorm." He shrugs innocently, not realising the can of worms he may just have opened.

Bugger. Lily pushes her hair back from her shoulders and smiles blankly. "Oh, they haven't?" she says lightly. Well, that's good to know, at least she hasn't already been described to him as the 'wicked bitch of the west bed'. "It's a relatively peaceful dorm. As peaceful as a dorm full of girls gets," she shrugs, then decides it's time to change the subject. "I don't think we're as bad as some of the boys dorms, though - I could swear I can smell some of them from the other side of the tower."
Huh. Not such a successful topic change. Oh, well.

Gideon grins. "Well, ours never smells bad, don't worry. Ours smells like cologne and new shoes - at least, that's what happens when you live with Fabian. And I should know." He glances over at Lily fleetingly, then explains. "He's my twin, by the way. And he's very, uh, effeminate." He looks thoughtful, if slightly confused for a second. "At least, I think that's the right word?"
