Remus blinks in surprise when he feels someone grabbing his arms. "Oh, Molly, I'm sorry. I was zoning.." He was Zombie!Remus. *nods* He was still shaking slightly from earlier and he continued keeping his gaze down at the ground. "How are you?" he asks, hardly any enthusiasm to his voice, sadly.

Feeling the slight tremble in Remus as she holds onto his arms sends Molly's Mama Bear instincts off the scale. "Remus you're, like, shaking," she breathes. "What happened? What can I do to help?" she asks at once, wide eyes searching as she starts mentally running through all the things she can do to make it better. Is he sick? In shock? Or just upset? She frets, her face still pulled down into a frout.

"I told Sirius about me being gay...and I thought it would be okay but then we ended up fighting...and now I'm betting he's going to yell at Viktor, blaming it all on him..." He steeled himself from the threatening tears - it was bad enough one person had already seen him cry today - and tried desperately to ignore the terrible aching in his chest.

Molly's hand flutters up to cover her mouth in horror as she listens, because she understands what it must have cost Remus to come out to Sirius and how terrible he must feel that it's ended in a fight. If Molly Prewett was the type to cry, she'd probably be tearing up right about now. Studiously ignoring the fact that they keep the hugs to a minimum in this friendship because they both have a healthy respect for personal space, Molly steps up close and draws Remus into her arms in a very maternal way. Whether he's fond of them or not, he needs a hug right now. "OhmyGod," she breathes. "I'm so sorry. It'll all be ok, I promise. We'll figure stuff out - Viktor can handle himself, don't you worry about that," she mumbles, rubbing his back a little.

Remus hadn't even realized how much he'd been wanting a hug until Molly hugged him; he hugged her back tightly. "See...I like Sirius. As more than just a friend..." he wanted to smack himself on the head for letting this happen.

Molly says nothing when Remus hugs her back tight enough that it hurts just a little bit. She doesn't care, it's only a little discomfort and she's more focused on her friend right now. "Oh Remus," Molly sighs. "It's not your fault, you know? Don't, like, beat yourself up about it or votever, because we totally can't control who we develop feelings for," she says, and Uncharacteristically-Wise!Molly speaks from experience there. She just keeps hugging him and rubbing his back, comforting him as best she can and letting him get it all out in his own time. She wishes then that she had some cookie dough. Chocolate cookie dough for Remus, to be specific.

Remus figures he should probably stop squeezing the life out of Molly. He lets go, looking down at the ground in front of him. "I know I shouldn't beat myself up about it...but I can't help it, and if it's going to be so much of a problem then I'm not sure if I want to let them continue...I mean, I can try ignoring them and maybe eventually they'll just go away." Sorry, Remus, not going to happen. "It'll just be too awkward between me and him if I tell him, or let these feelings continue to grow." His feelings say that he'll need a good distraction to get rid of them...cause they don't plan on going anywhere.

When Remus lets go of Molly, she takes the hint to pull back, squeezing his hand briefly before completely withdrawing herself. "You can try," she says softly, only half believing it's possible but willing to do anything she can to help her friend. "I can totally see why you wouldn't want to, like, strain the friendship or votever though, so maybe it would be better in the long run if you just... sat on it for a while? You can always change your mind later," she says encouragingly.

Jack is taking a stroll. Boy-watching, girl-watching, he doesn't care as long as someone puts something sexy in front of him. He spots that cute redhead, Molly, the cheeky little thing that had once asked if she could smell him, having a conversation with the sort of boy that Jack just wants to eat up with a spoon. Grinning, Jack saunters over to say hello. "Well hello Molly," he says, lifting the back of her hand to kiss it before turning twinkling blue-grey eyes to Molly's companion. "And hello to you, too."

Molly is about to respond when all of a sudden they're not alone. She greams brightly and a little blush settles over her cheeks when Jack kisses her hand in greeting because even though she's completely faithful to Kingsley and always will be, when Mr. OhmyGodyesplease flirts with you, you blush. "Hi Jack," she smiles. And then her eyes light up with an idea. "Oh, excuse me! Like, where are my manners today? Jack Harkness, this is Remus Lupin," she introduces easily, mentally crossing her fingers.

Excuse Remus while his eyes wander. What? He can't help it. He turns slightly quaffley when this Jack fellow says hello to him. "Hi, Jack." he holds his hand out for Jack to shake. He's glad for the distraction from their conversation at least, maybe it would help cheer him up a little.

He shakes Remus' hand firmly and holds onto it for a long moment longer than strictly necessary. "Remus, pleasure's all mine," he says, his own eyes wandering just a tad. Ok, a lot. So sue him.

Molly greams, watching Jack flirt himself silly with Remus. Oh, she can't wait to tell Viktor about this! The plan arrives in her head then, fully formed, and she thinks she knows exactly what Remus needs to get his mind off of Sirius... Yes, Molly is actually having a wordless post, that's how serious she is about not getting in the way. She just steps back and lets Jack do his thing, smiling encouragingly at Remus the whole while.

Remus' face goes a deeper shade of quaffle when he sees Jack's eyes wandering a lot. "Er...I haven't seen you around, what year are you in?" he asked curiously.
