Molly just giggles. "If I had the brains, I'd, like, totally transfer to Ravenclaw. Remus could - he's, like, so smart," she informs Jack with a wide grin.

Remus is stuck quaffley. "Yeah, I'm in Gryffindor with them. Sixth year." Amethyst would like to say that Remus was very distracted from his problems with Sirius right now...but, unfortunately, it's still to recent to be entirely distracted from. He goes even quafflier when Molly compliments him. "Oh...not really as much...honestly. I'm terrible at potions." he nods, as if that means he's way too not smart to be placed in Ravenclaw. Plus he was just being the modest guy that he always was. "The hat was going to place me in Ravenclaw but I really asked it not to because I wanted to be with the nice guys that asked me to sit with them on the train." he realizes he's rambling and shuts up, then he tries not to look sad when he remembers that he's currently at odds with one of those nice guys who asked him to sit with them on the train that first year.

My head is a train wreck right now.

Sirius is currently trying to either kill Jack or himself, I'm not sure which, but all he's succeeding in is banging his head against the door to his room which I deadbolted shut.
Caradoc wants to high five Molly for being awesome, and is totally giving her next bag of gillyweed free for being so awesome for Remus. He would also like to rape Jack with his mind, but you know, also wants to lock Jack in a room with Remus and then go hug Molly again for being awesome for his friend, because he's impressed she actually shut up.
Severus is just... salivating... oh god.

Jack just grins, not quite knowing Remus well enough yet to realise that he's sad about something. "Well, I hope those nice guys on the train realise that it was their lucky day," he says. Then he leans in to speak softly in Remus' ear. "And I'll let you in on a little secret - I barely scrape an E in Potions. Isn't that just scandalous for a Ravenclaw?" he asks, straightening up again and winking at Molly, because he doesn't like to ignore her even though he's finding his newest friend far more interesting at this point in time.

Remus blinks. Barely an E? He can barely get a P half the time and ends up with D's...Oh the sadness. "I think I'm lucky if I can get close to an E all year..." he admits, chuckling lightly to himself. This was definitely helpful in lightening his mood.

I mean, I'd like that...I'm just not usually the most interesting person to be around when it comes to books...cause I read a lot and apparently that's considered very boring by some people who would rather talk than sit in a stuffy library reading." *looks at Sirius* Then again, this guy is a Ravenclaw. So he probably likes books, right?

Remus dies of over-quaffleyness. He doesn't even know how to respond. He will of course...it just takes a moment. "You're...you're very nice." he was drowning in awkward - he never knew how to respond to these sort of things. "I think you're pretty interesting too, and, since you're sure that I won't bore you if we hang out to study, I think it'd be fun if we could do so together sometime." he's really trying not to let his eyes wander. Really, really trying.

Molly just greams because everything is going swimmingly for her little plan it seems. Well, she hasn't even had to do anything, really. Just a well-placed word here and there, and Jack is running with it. And Remus, it seems, is taking the bait without question. Not wanting to say anything to interrupt the flow of things, she just stays silent -ohmyGod, she can't wait to tell Kingsley, he'll be SO proud of her!- and lets the two boys talk.

"Oh you could never bore me," Jack assures the other boy with a wicked grin, thinking that Remus' flustered quaffleyness is just adorable. "But for now, I've got to go. I'll be seeing you around, Remus Lupin," he promises, because Jack is a man of his word, and he intends to find Remus again, and as many times as he possibly can. He winks at Molly. "Miss Prewett," he says by way of farewell, then turns and saunters casually away, fairly certain there are a couple of sets of eyes following his rear right about now. And rightly so.

Molly positively greams at Remus. "What just happened is that you, like, totally have yourself an admirer I think! Well, I like him - he shows good taste in men," she says decisively. She smiles, and wants to ask Remus if he feels better now, but if by some miracle he's forgotten about his upset and his troubles with Sirius, she doesn't want to be the one to remind him. (OMG KINGS SHOULD BE SO PROUD OF HER RIGHT NOW - LOOK HOW MATURE AND AWESOME SHE'S BEING! *makes mental note to be Crazy!Mol later to make up for it*)

Remus blinks. Oh. Well then. It was hard to believe, honestly, but then again there was that part that was reminding him that even Rad had said that just because he, Remus, didn't think anyone would really be interested in himself didn't mean that there wouldn't be. He tried to turn off the quaffley but it wasn't happening. "Oh...I see." he looks towards the direction Jack had just left. "He was really nice. I kind of do what to hang out with him again..." (KINGS IS SUPER PROUD OF HER...HE WANTS TO GIVE HER LOTS OF HUGGLES RIGHT NOW. *nods*)

Molly resists the urge to do a little happy dance -both because Remus looks intrigued and interested in Jack, and because she's thinking of all the huggles she's earning from Kingsley for her good deed, which really she would do anyway because Mama Bear just wants everyone she loves to be happy- as she watches Remus look after the rapidly-disappearing Jack. "He is a nice guy. I mean, I don't know him that well, but he's always been, like, super friendly to Viktor and I. Oh," she giggles, "I totally have to tell you - before we learned his name, Viktor and I totally used to have the best nickname for him: Mr. OhmyGodyesplease. Well, I suppose now to me he's Mr. OhmyGodIwouldbutI'mseeingsomeone, but votever," she shrugs. "You think you want to see him again? You know what I think? Well, I'll tell you what I think because I, like, totally tell everyone every thought I have, you know, but I think you should totally see him again. I mean, what's the worst that could happen? You might even make a friend," she suggests, though her tone suggests she's hinting at something more than a friend.
