"Hmm." Bea's face was thoughtful. Then she prodded her cheek with a finger and crossed her eyes, as if she was trying to see herself from a different angle. Finally, she gave up. "I don't know. What do you think?" she asked, sticking her chin into her cupped hands and resting her elbows on her knees. "Do I look like an alien to you?"

Viktor tilted his head to the side, as if throughly examining her and looking for any characteristics of an alien life form. "Hm. Vell, the thing is, I have never actually seen an alien, so I vouldn't know von if it bit me on the nose," he said with a laugh. "But I think ve'd be safe in saying you, Little Miss Sunshine, are not an alien." Yup, someone had to call her that IC if it says it on her banner.

Bea laughed again. "Good," she giggled, "because I wouldn't want to have to bite you on the nose!" That sent her even father into her little giggle fit and while she was rolling around in the pile of leaves laughing Ari would like to proudly bask in the glory of that banner which she made by herself. [Aren't I modest?] Bea finally calmed down and scrunched up her nose. "I wouldn't want to be bitten on the nose either," she decided. "So you can't be an alien."

Viktor laughed. "Vell, I don't think I am vich is good because I don't vant to bite you on the nose. Or at all, for that matter," he says with another laugh. Viktor only bites guys. Hehe. "So, now that ve've both gotten that out of the vay and have come to the conclusion that ve're both human, vot else do you have to say?" he asked with a grin as he playfully tossed a couple of stray leaves that had blown over towards him at Bea's head.

"What do I have to say? What don't I have to say?" she asked contrarily. "What would you do if I just didn't talk for a whole five minutes?" she asked. "Would you feel weird? Are you one of those awkward silence fillers? I'm not. Yes, I know, you'd think I would be, but being quiet has it's benefits too," she continued. "So what do you have to say?"

Viktor blinks. "Um. Vell, no I'm not either. I'm usually not much of a talker actually," he says with a shrug. "Only around certain people. So, if you stopped talking for five minutes, it vould be a very quiet five minutes. Then somevon vould probably valk past and vonder vy two people are sitting here and not talking at all," he says with an amused smirk.

Bea tipped her head and squinted at the burly guy sitting across from her then nodded. "I could see that," she said. "You don't seem so quiet when I'm around though," she observed.

Viktor smiled. "I guess that's because I like you," he said with a grin. "I usually don't vaste my time talking to people I don't like. Takes too much energy, don't you think?"

Bea's head tilted slightly. "I wouldn't really know. I can't think of anyone I don't like," she said, her tone very matter-of-fact.

"Oh. I can't think of anyvon at this school, but at my old school there vere quite a few people I didn't quite get along vith," he admits, thinking of all the Pureblood supremacists at Durmstrang. "Anyvay, I should probably get going. It's getting late, and I've got some stuff to do. I'll see you around?"

"Okay," Bea chirped with a cheery smile. "It was nice talking to you again," she said before jumping up and hugging him on impulse, like most things she does. "Bye!" she called over her shoulder as she skipped away.

Viktor smiles and hugs Bea back, waving goodbye to her as she skips off. "Nice talking to you too, Bea. Bye!" And then he gets up and walks back to his dorm to study...because the schedule that Hermione made for him says it's time to study.

Dem walks over to the apple trees and finds a nice big juicy apple to eat and sits under a shady tree to eat it.

Molly comes down to the apple trees, a knitted bag over her shoulder, and starts to summon apples, sticking them in her bag. It's a few moments before she notices the other girl quietly munching on her apple and she sends a friendly smile in her direction. "Oh, hey! How you going?" she chirps politely.

Dem hears another girl come over to the lake and start talking to her so she replies "Its going pretty well thank you. What about you? How are you going?" She them takes a big bite from her apple. After she has finished chewing and swallowing it Dem says "Would you like to sit down?"

Molly grins. "Oh, I'm alright, thanks. I'm collecting apples because I'm, like, going to bake something with them. Not sure what yet. Maybe a pie, but that's kind of boring sometimes. I'll try and think of something cool, I guess. So you're a Gryffindor," she comments, spying the other girl's tie. "Me too. I'm Molly, I'm a sixth year."

"Oh ok. Pie? I love pie!" She took another bite of her apple then continued "Its nice to meet you Molly. I'm Demelza, but you can call me Dem if you want. I'm in my fifth year here."

Molly greams. "Everybody loves pie! I just want to make something that makes people go 'like, whoa!', you know? Nice to meet you, Dem. My sister is in fifth year, too. Her name's Alice, if you know her?" she chatters, stuffing a couple of apples into her bag and scanning the trees for more ripe apples.

"No I don't think I've met her. I've probably seen her around or something, but not met her, which is weird seeming as we are in the same year." Dem continued to munch away on the apple. "So, have you been up to anything lately or done anything interesting?" She asked Molly.

Molly giggles quietly to herself, because if Dem had met Alice, she'd probably remember the experience. Then she giggles because she's been up to all sorts of mischief, but having just met Dem she decides to stick to the safer topics. "Not all that much, really. Like, boy watching in the Great Hall over breakfast, and hanging out with one of my brothers and some friends. How 'bout you?"

"Not much really. Just hanging out with some people, doing homework. Normal uneventful things like that." Dem wondered whether anything interesting would happen to her this year seeming as nothing much really did ever happen to her.

"'Homework'," Molly says, sounding the word out as if it's unfamiliar to her and giggling. "What is this 'homework' you speak of? I feel like it's a concept I should be familiar with, and yet I'm, like, drawing a blank!"

Dem giggled. "You know, that boring stuff that teachers make you do out of class to waste our time because it's not like we have a life or anything." Dem said the last part about not having a life sarcastically. Then continued on eating her apple which should be nearly finished by now.

"OH!" Molly says brightly, her voice full of fake recognition. "I thought that stuff was just, like, a suggestion. You know, for people with nothing better to do. I mean, surely class is for learning, so not-class is for better things, right? Homework is just, like, their way of torturing us and a lame attempt to keep us out of trouble," Molly says, her voice light as she continues filling her bag. She's probably got enough now, but she scans the trees a little longer just to make sure she's not missing a really good apple.

Dem laughs. "Their attempt at keeping us out of trouble doesn't work that well does it? It's like they want to ruin our lives!" Dem suddenly spots a good looking apple on a tree and picks it off and gives it to Molly. "Heres a good looking apple for you if you need another one, though you have a lot already!"
