Re: The Hippogriff Pen
She thought for a long moment. "Hmm, I would have my own park. Like, a place where only I can go, to be alone." She nodded slowly. "Who was your first crush?"
Re: The Hippogriff Pen
"That sounds nice," he said, picturing rolling green hills and patches of trees scattered about with a pond in the middle. Of course, that's probably not quite what she pictured. "My babysitter Caroline when I was little. But that one doesn't really count. I guess Jamie, my old next door neighbor," he blushed. "What's one of your pet peeves?"

"Just one?" She giggled. "People who interrupt me when I'm talking." She shrugged. "Biggest fear?"
Re: The Hippogriff Pen
"Ugh, hate that so much!" He nodded. "Hmm, losing someone I care about. If the world was going to come to an end tommorrow, what would you do today?"

Re: The Hippogriff Pen
"Oh, that's a good question!" She beamed at him. "And hard. Let me think." She sat in silence for the longest she's been silent yet. There was a lot she would want to do. "I guess I would find a way to take me and my family to Rome. I've always wanted to go there. I would spend my last moments with my family." She smiled at her cheesy answer. "If you could only say one word for the rest of your life, what would it be?"
Re: The Hippogriff Pen
"Oh, love Italy, it's so beautiful! I've always wanted to go to Venice! Anyway," he smiled, remembering his first and only visit there to watch a Quidditch game. "Help," he laughed. "What's the weirdest dream you've ever had?"

She laughed. "I honestly can't even pick one. I have extremely odd dreams all the time. Professor Trelawney actually told me, that could be a sign that I my sight is awakening. Oh, I hope it does." She then realized she was starting to ramble. "Oh, sorry. Got off track." She looked up at the darkening sky. "Oh! It's getting late. Do you think we should head back up to the castle?"
Re: The Hippogriff Pen
Seamus finally noticed the darkening sky, surprised that they had lost track of time. "Whoa, yeah we probably should!" He stood up and stretched out his stiff muscles, catching a glimpse of the moon. "Anywhere in particular or just back to the Common Room?"

"Probably to common room." She too stood and stretched, making a small squeaking noise as she did so. "I still need to find out what happened to Parvati after we left the train. I'm sure your friends are probably wondering where you are too. Let's go." She started walking back in the direction of the castle.
Re: The Hippogriff Pen
Aurelia walked down to visit the hippogriffs, actually, sort of skipped there. It was a break from class and she hadn't really made any friends...they all seemed to think her too jumpy. Maybe she was. "But you don't think so, do you Stormfeather?" She bowed with a smile, used to the ritual, before the hippogriff trotted to the edge of the pen and let her start petting it's face. It pressed it's head against her hand, letting her scratch it. Like a giant dog, she thought, but so elegant and proud. The Hufflepuff girl let her mind wander, thinking of canines in general, her favorite animals. Not that she'd tell her favorite hippogriff that.
She used her other hand to brush the wavy, dark brown, hair from her face and dropped her bag to the ground. Letting a simple smile stay on her face, she relaxed and pet the creature, letting her thoughts drift off.

Re: The Hippogriff Pen
Molly is going for a walk, generally just avoiding her Arithmancy homework and one very rude Kingsley Shacklebolt, wondering vaguely where those siblings of hers have gotten to. She comes across the Hippogriff pen - oh, cool, she hasn't been here since, like, her first day, she remembers, blushing a little a the memory of meeting Caradoc and their little encounter with one of the hippogriffs. Then she notices she's not alone, that there's another girl here, who is happily petting a hippogriff, an absent little smile on her face.
"Oh, hey, I'm not, like, interrupting or anything, am I?"

Re: The Hippogriff Pen
"Aah!" The hippogriff snorted as Aurelia jumped and nearly fell over. Surprised, she turned to see another girl standing there and looked between her and the hippogriff. "What? No, no, not interrupting. Just petting the hippogriff. Lovely creatures. Absolutely fantastic." She was surprised to see anyone else here, never mind someone intentionally talking to her. She brushed a bit of hair out of her face, leaning against the fence like she totally didn't nearly leap out of her skin with surprise a minute before. "Do you like hippogriffs too? I mean, you're here, of course you would, at least a little...." She stopped, trying not to cover up her awkwardness with more awkwardness in the form of chatter. The hippogriff snorted and nudged her shoulder until she reached a hand up to absentmindedly scratch it, as she kept her eyes on the other girl.

Re: The Hippogriff Pen
Molly grins her usual friendly grin, pleased to find someone who seems to like to talk a bit. Unlike some stupid chikidziq who is tall and black and rude and has nice eyes and shall remain nameless. "Hippogriffs are, like, totally awesome," she enthuses, taking a few steps forwards. The hippogriff gives her a warning glare, and Molly stops short. "Oh! Right. Totally forgot about that bit. Hang on," she says to her companion, whilst she takes a moment to bow to the creature, waiting until she receives a bow in return before walking a little closer, still grinning. "I don't come here all that much though. Don't think I've hung out here since, like, the first day of term. It's kinda cool though. Do you come here lots?"

Re: The Hippogriff Pen
Aurelia beamed, quite pleased to know she hadn't scared the girl off yet. "They are SO awesome! I love pretty much all animals though. I mean, acromantula are probably scary, and flobberworms are boring...but hippogriffs and stuff are cool. We've had kneazles and krups at home before, makes it weird when Muggles visit though. " She paused, realizing she'd missed the question. "Oh. Yeah!" she replied, nodding fiercely. "Lots! It's peaceful here. Not that I don't like people, I do! I just don't have many friends so....yeah. The hippogriffs don't care if I talk to much or am awkward like everyone else seems to." She fell silent, abruptly. Really should stop doing that. Blabbering on and on then just....stopping. Probably thinks i'm crazy Aurelia thought.

Molly doesn't have any trouble keeping up with this girl. After all, Molly spends all day every day keeping up with herself, which is no mean feat, as Gideon will likely tell anyone after Molly's fourth consecutive hour of incessant, disjointed babbling at him. "Ew - acromantula! Gross, I totally don't love animals that much. I do think most animals are cool though, but we're not really allowed to have pets because we'd probably scare them to death or whatever. One of my brothers has an owl though - I think my parents bought it for him as a hint for him to, like, write home every now and then but it totally failed. OhmyGod I don't think I've written home myself, yet! Oh, wow, they'll be, like, freakin' out or something. People are awesome," Molly enthuses, because she likes things that talk back once in a while. "Except for some people who can't carry on a conversation, but let's, like, not even go there. Oh, hey, I'm Molly," she grins, because sometimes she forgets to tell people that part. Prewetts sort of just assume that everyone knows who they are.

Re: The Hippogriff Pen
Excited that someone is nice enough to talk to her and put up with her talking, Aurelia is quite at home continuing, though she isn't always this talkative. Mostly when she's excited or nervous. "Why would you scare them into death? You have siblings? Me too! Mine aren't at Hogwarts though. I guess your brothers are though? " Pausing, she pondered on when she'd last written home. It'd be a while, but then again her owl had been taking messages from her siblings. "It's been a while since I wrote home...my parents usually write me first. Or send me odd things. My siblings write me more. My sister has just been allowed access to the family owl and i'm the only one she usually bothers to write because our brother doesn't have as interesting replies, I think. " She grinned. "Oh, sorry, I forgot to introduce myself too! I'm Aurelia! It's really great to meet you, you know." The smile on her face was automatic, this was a rare circumstance for her, and so far it was going quite well.

Re: The Hippogriff Pen
Molly giggles. "You know what? It's best that I just, like, don't explain the thing about scaring things half to death. Oh wow, you have, like, the prettiest name!" she exclaims. "I was talking about that the other day actually, because my brothers have kinda weird and cool names, but my sister and I have totally normal names - she's an 'Alice'. So do you just have one sister and one brother? That's cool. How old are they? I've got three - Gideon and Fabian are twins, they're in seventh, and my little sister Ali is in fifth. I'm in the middle. I'm like Malcolm only dumber, cuter and cooler." Molly grins, because she loves talking about her family, and making friends, and talking in general.

Re: The Hippogriff Pen
"Er..if you say so!" Aurelia laughed. "Thank you, I think it's sort of weird. I like your name! Molly sounds pretty, so do your other siblings names. Gideon and Fabian are sort of odd names though. " Aurelia thought for a moment, the combination of names sounded vaguely familiar, but she gave up after a minute. "Yeah, i've got a little sister and an older brother. He's out of Hogwarts now, and she hasn't started yet. I'm a fifth year, but i'm the middle one too! What House are you and your siblings in? My brother was in Gryffindor, but i'm in Hufflepuff." She sounded proud as she stated her house, despite the lack of people who liked Hufflepuff, she thought the whole thing merely was just a misunderstood or twisted reputation.

Re: The Hippogriff Pen
"OhmyGod a Hufflepuff!" Molly bursts out, grinning, no - beaming, no - greaming. "There totally aren't many of you. I've met a couple though and you all seem pretty cool. We're all in Gryffindor - like, all our family forever and ever seems to have been in Gryff. I'm totally glad of that though, because we're all, like, super close and stuff so I'd kinda miss them if we were all spread out over the castle. I even get to share a dorm with my sister, which is awesome. Are you and your siblings super close? I bet you must miss them, being here without them," she says, thinking about how much next year will suck without her big brothers around. Of course, she'll probably get more dates without them scaring off all the potentials, but she'll still miss them.

Re: The Hippogriff Pen
Aurelia burst out in giggles at her reaction. "Nope, not many of us, but I think we're all the cooler for it. Like endangered animals. Even the ugly ones are cool because there are so few. " Her jaw literally dropped a bit at the mention of all of them in Gryffindor. "Woah, really? ALL of you? I'm betting my sisters in Ravenclaw. She's 9 now, and my brother left a year ago. We're all are super close though. My brother travels a lot, but we always see each other whenever we can and keep in touch. I do miss them, but it's sort of good that we have our freedom from each other I think...does it ever get annoying, seeing your siblings ALL the time?"

Re: The Hippogriff Pen
"You should get, like, Hufflepuff badges or something made, and they can say something about that," she giggles. "That even the ugly ones are cool because they're so rare. I totally don't even think I've seen an ugly Puff, though." She tilts her head to the side and twirls a strand of hair around her finger, giggling some more to herself as she contemplates how to answer Aurelia's question. "Like, it can get a little much sometimes, with them always around. My younger sister sort of goes through this phase sometimes where she, like, tries to do everything just like me and that can get super annoying, and it makes me worry and stuff because I don't think she really thinks stuff through sometimes. But she's still awesome. My brothers just... like, the only time I get real ticked off at them is when they pull their stupid overprotective thing. They totally take it to the extreme sometimes, you know? But other than that, I adore all three of them more than anything. We don't really tell the others about it, but Gideon and I are, like, the closest ever. He's my favourite, and we hang out all the time. It's like he's pretty much my best friend, as well as my big brother. So that's cool, too," she rambles, having forgotten her original point by now but running with it anyway.
