Re: The Courtyard
"Swearing in Bulgarian? That's a new one," he laughed, shaking his head at Molly. "So, either you and him are seriously incompatible, or the amount of sexual tension between you two is nearing dangerously explosive levels. My bet would be on the second one, judging from personal experience," he chuckled, his mind flickering to Raphael, who Eowyn just remembered isn't around anymore. Well that sucks, 'cause that hate sex would have been pretty damn awesome to write. "But hey, we all freeze up sometimes. Maybe you just need to find a way to keep yourself totally relaxed, around him, find a way to just not let those things that bother you so much get to you. Obviously, that's not exactly easy, because I somehow don't think thinking about bunnies and rainbows is gonna work for you," he remarked, trying to imagine an angry Molly, which he believes is probably quite intimidating, if a bit comical in appearance. "What is it about this guy that you actually LIKE, Molly? You've already told me you can't possibly hate everything about him."
Re: The Courtyard
"Viktor taught me some Bulgarian swears, and I've, like, put them to good use," Molly shrugs, smirking slightly because Gideon's face was kinda priceless... she never did tell him what she'd said, either. Oh that is a shame, because that hate sex would've been HOT. She sighs, fiddling with the ends of her hair. "See, a week ago I probably would've said without a doubt that we're, like, totally incompatible. Because I totally didn't realise I liked him until I knew I liked him, you know? And I still can't help myself around him - it's like he knows exactly the wrong thing to say to piss me off and I can't control myself or something. Like, even though I want to say the right thing, I always end up doing the exact opposite and I can't even explain why I like him! I know it's, like, all wrong and he won't give me the time of day and he should totally respect me more and I don't think we have, like, anything in common, but I still like him. He's smart and serious and deep and he has nice eyes and he's totally everything I'm not," she mumbles, dejectedly. And yeah, Angry!Molly is kind of a funny sight, but shit gets pretty dangerous for anyone fool enough to laugh.

Re: The Courtyard
Caradoc would not be fool enough to laugh. Sirius so would, though, and I bet it'll happen at some point, just saying. Caradoc does think it's safe to laugh a bit now, because frustrated Molly is fucking adorable. "Oh hey now, I'm sure there's something you two have in common-- how else would you keep running into him, if you weren't hanging around the same places? Well, let's see, what do you like... OH! Uh, duh. Molly, if the man doesn't like food, he's useless. Seriously. He is not a real man if he can't appreciate good food, y'know. Maybe the way to win him over is via cookies!" he joked, before pausing, considering, then laughing again. "On second thought, that might ACTUALLY work. Maybe next time you two fight, you can ask him his favorite food before you swear in Bulgarian?"
Re: The Courtyard
Molly blinks. Cookies = love. She can totally dig that. Sirius would be the type to laugh, which would be lots of fun for Molly, who learned everything she knows about face-punching from Gideon. <3 "He did once say he cooks. Though I bet my cooking is, like, totally better. Because, you know, my cooking is the best," she rambles. "And I'll totally try to ask him what his favourite food is before I go all Bulgarian on him, but it's not like I ever actually mean to swear at him in foreign languages, you know? It just sort of, like, sneaks up on me and slips out before I really think about it," she admits, while Mya dies laughing and imagines a Mosley conversation going that way. "And it's just, like, none of my usual tricks and methods and stuff have worked on this guy, so, like, what if this doesn't either? Ugh, whatever, listen to me! It's getting sad! I think it's time for me to do what I usually do when I get sad, and be awesome instead," she says with a decisive little nod.

Re: The Courtyard
I KEEP FORGETTING ABOUT THIS
"UH, DUH, YOUR COOKING IS THE BEST! All hail Molly, queen of the kitchen! But seriously, I completely agree. So what do you do, when you stop being sad and stop being awesome? Eat cookies? Eat Cookies? Do an awesome-dance? Blow bubbles? Blow other things?" Caradoc shrugged, and thought about all the things that awesome people do. "Chill in a blanket fort? Shoot people with marshmallows? I've got a few marshmallow shooters if this guy is in need of pelting, just so you know. And I've got no shortage of ammo, being a Hufflepuff and all. You know, there's a giant vat of marshmallows in the common room? I have no idea why it's there, but like, all the people in my house seem to consume them by the bucket. Do you think that's why the Slytherins roast them? Because they eat so many marshmallows, they probably taste like them?"

[I'm trying to come up with a reply, but my brain isn't quite working right now... It's been going on long enough, so when I can think straight I'll probably end it if that's cool?]

Molly shrugs, although she blushes ever so slightly at the mention of blowing other things. "Oh, you know, whatever," she chirps. "I, like, don't like to limit myself, I just sort of do whatever the mood suggests. Baking totally usually comes first though." She tilts her head to the side and considers the news of the giant vat of mushrooms in Hufflepuff.

Re: The Courtyard
Molly is here, stretched out on a bench and knitting Rad's sweater. No picture yet because I haven't found something I like enough. She's greaming, though, because she's still the happiest little puppy ever.

Re: The Courtyard
Fabian sees Molly come over from his little perch in his tree and jumps down silently. Like a ninja, he creeps up behind Molly before putting his hands over her eyes and leaning towards her ear. "Guess who?" He pulled his hands away and grinned, revealing himself. "Well if it isn't Molly 'I'm going to avoid my favoritest, fantasticest, and fabulousest brother for like, a month, and make him go into food and sister withdrawal' Prewett. Just what do you have to say for yourself?" He asked, tapping his foot irritably as he rested his hands on his hips. Yes, Fabian, you are acting very feminine, now silence.
Re: The Courtyard
Molly freezes for a half a second when her eyes are covered by someone sneaking up behind her, but she greams the second her assailant speaks, because she would know that voice everywhere. She jumps up and turns, staring at Fabian with a gream and wide 'I-can't-actually-believe-it's-you!' eyes as he gives her his little lecture. "FABIAN!" She steps onto the stone bench, as usual not minding in the least that she is wearing five inch stilettos, and launches herself across the space and into her brother's arms. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN? I'VE MISSED YOU, LIKE, SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH! AND I HAVE NEWS! AND COOKIES! BUT RIGHT NOW I TOTALLY JUST WANT A HUG! GIVE ME A HUG, YOU BIG HIDEY-PERSON WHO HAS BEEN HIDING FROM ME!" she babbles, hugging him as tightly as she can.

Re: The Courtyard
Fabian is very lucky he knows how to deal with this, because otherwise he would be tackled to the ground by a small but strangely adorable ginger sister. And then he gives her the most awesomely epic brotherly hug of older brother hugs the world has ever known. "I never thought I'd miss the headache your constant talking gives me!! Molly, I have missed you beyond words." He pulled back and sat on the bench. "Let us sit and--YOU HAVE COOKIES? You have already taken three seconds away that I could have been eating those cookies--can I have some? Pleasepleasepleaassseee?"
Re: The Courtyard
Molly looks vaguely horrified. "What is this 'beyond words' you speak of? Sounds like a totally quiet and desolate place," she giggles, settling herself back on the bench and tossing the knitting aside for now because Fabian > knitting. She reaches into her bag, the one she ALWAYS has, and pulls out a package of m&ms cookies, hading them over. "Of course you can have them, Fay-bee! They're rainbow, I made them, like, especially for you! I thought maybe if I baked, you would stop ignoring me!" she greams, leaning slightly against Fabian because she doesn't want him to leave for a very long time. "So... what's new with you?" she asks, because it's totally polite to ask people about stuff before you go babbling on about your own news, right?

Re: The Courtyard
Fabian's smile flickers briefly at the mention of rainbows as he thinks of Caradoc, but he accepts the cookies gratefully and gives her a one armed hug. "Thank you, Molly! I have no idea where my stomach would be without you and your cooking." He smiled. "Oh, nothing much. You know, just the normal, average--" At this point, he conveniently shoved a bunch of cookies into his mouth. "--coffufin ofuh poffibeh homofehkkfual fee'ings fuh Cawadoc, but--" He swallowed the mouthful and smiled again. "Other than that, nothing much."
Re: The Courtyard
Molly wrinkles her nose slightly, because even though she's used to her brothers eating like pigs, it's never a pleasant sight to behold. She smiles back at Fabian when he smiles, and calmly reaches out to squeeze his hand. "So do you want to, like, tell me more about these confusing and potentially homosexual feelings towards Caradoc?" she asks, still smiling brightly because as long as her brother is happy, she is happy.

Re: The Courtyard
Fabian shoots her a disgruntled look and looks at his hands. "What? Wha--Homo--Pfft. Homosexual? Me? I'm sorry, Molly-pop, but you have got me, Fabian Prewett, Mr. Straight Man of the Universe, confused with someone else, surely. After all, I mean, Caradoc? Pfft. Just friends. Yup. We are just... Friends." He shoved another cookie in his mouth, as if to distract himself. He swallowed before speaking this time. "How did you even learn the eat-speak language?" He pouted.
Re: The Courtyard
Molly just keeps on smiling and lifts Fabian's arm slightly, so that she can slip beneath it and into a sideways-sitting-hug-type-thing, resting her chin on his chest and staring up at him with big puppy eyes that just scream 'I'm your baby sister and you can tell me anything because you love me'. "I learned it because, like, every time I see you and Giddy you're eating my food. So, like, if I didn't learn to speak 'gross teenage boy who talks with his mouth full' I would totally never hear a word you said," she shrugs. "Anyway, I'll totally make you a deal - you tell me what's going on with you, and I'll tell you about all the boys you get to threaten for hitting on me, and about how I totally slapped someone in the face with a shoe," she offers.

Re: The Courtyard
Fabian chews his lip and thinks this over for a moment. "Fine," he finally sighs. He figures it's best to talk to someone about it, anyways. "It's just... I... He... We--Well, not we, there is no we--Not that I want there to be. But I don't not want there to be. And it's just... Urf... And he's so... Unf. It's just..." He ran his fingers through his hair and puffed out his cheeks. "It's so complicated. It's like, every time I'm with him I can't stop smiling. And it--I mean... I always get so nervous around him. I'm like an effing girl, Molly! I blush, and I stutter, and I flinch, and it's kind of embarrassing, but I can't help but feel like everything in the world is okay whenever I'm around him. And it's... Even though I'm embarrassing myself and tripping over my words, he says I'm beautiful, and then I just stutter even more... He's so frustrating! It's like, I think he might possibly feel the same way, but he's also the type of person to go around hugging and touching everyone, so I never know if it's just me, and then he practically serenades me and I'm just left there gaping like--like a fish! And I know that I'm supposed to be your older brother and that I shouldn't have to come for you for guy advice because you're supposed to come to me for that, or maybe one of your girl friends or something but I'm about to explode and I'm so confused and I feel like I'm going to run myself into a brick wall out of frustration."
Re: The Courtyard
Molly just listens, silent and attentive because she knows this is important. She gives Fabian an extra big hug as he rambles it out, which just goes to show that they're related, really. "Fay-bee, you know you can talk to me about, like, anything, right? And don't run yourself into a brick wall please, because you'll, like, mess up your hair and then I'll have to patch you up," she says, then sighs, thinking of what to say. What would she say if this was a girl Fabian was mooning over? "Ok, so, here's what I think: I think you should, like, do what makes you happy. So you just have to figure out what makes you happy," she shrugs. "And if being with Rad makes you happy, then, awesome. I mean, he may be a little taller but the same principle totally applies when dealing with Prewettkind - if he hurts you I'm going to, like, pop his eye out of its socket and turn it around so that he can watch himself die while I strangle him," she chirps. "What do you wanna do, Fay?" she asks, somewhat seriously.

Re: The Courtyard
Fabian runs his fingers through his hair, only vaguely aware of messing it up. He was stressed, after all. "I think..." He took a deep breath and looked at Molly. "I think I want to be with him. I mean--I know I want to be with him. I just... I don't know. It's... It feels weird, you know? I mean, I definitely never expected this, you know?" He scratched the back of his neck. "But, it's cool. Thank you, Molly," he smiled. "You helped me. A lot." And then he hugged her and somewhere around the world, a rainbow sprouted up. Fabian tends to have that effect.
Re: The Courtyard
Molly greams when Fabian hugs her, because she loves to help. Especially when it comes to family. "Love you, Fay-bee," she says, reaching up and fixing his hair absently. "So, like, Rad is just the luckiest guy ever. I mean, do people even realise what a big deal it is when a Prewett falls for you? He'd better appreciate you, or I'll end him, you know. So what are you gonna do? My method is to, like, beat my brains out studying something I don't really understand to try and get a guys attention, and then totally have a mini-breakdown and throw a hissy and tell him all about it. And then enjoy the snogging. Totally worked for me, but I don't know if you wanna try maybe more of a direct approach or something," Molly shrugs.

Re: The Courtyard
Fabian smirks. "I have a feeling he'll return the feelings." He was, only for a moment, overcome with the fear that Caradoc might reject him. He pushed this thought aside for the moment, though, as this wasn't really the time to bring up his irrational fears. "I think he's a very lucky person. But, then again, I think I'm pretty lucky, too. He's brilliant, Molly. Well, you've met him, haven't you? I nearly forgot." He quirks an eyebrow as Molly tells him which method she used and, for perhaps the first time ever, he frouts. "Excuse me? Is this expeience I hear you speaking from?" He asked with a raised eyebrow. "Miss Prewett, what would your family say if they knew you were romping about with some male specimen? It's scandalous." He smiled to show that he was just kidding before turning serious. "Now, tell me about this boy. First off, why on earth would you ever want to become somebody else when you're already such a wonderful person? And second-- law books? Really? Oh, and you also owe me a shoe slapping story. Thought I ought to remind you before I forgot and was left all dissappointed."
Re: The Courtyard
Molly smirks. "Well if he has any sense in that pretty blonde head of his he will." Her eyes widen and she whacks Fabian playfully in the chest. "Hey, I'm not, like, romping about with anyone! But I am seeing someone, I guess," she shrugs, her eyes dancing and a big gream on her face because everything is just awesome right now. "His name is Kingsley, he's a seventh year and in Gryff, like you and Giddy! He's, like, super smart and everything, Fay-bee, and we kinda didn't get along at first so I figured I'd try to be, like, more serious or votever. But then that didn't pan out, and he said he liked the normal me anyway, so I guess everything worked out for the best!" she chirps, still greaming. She hugs Fabian again, because he called her a wonderful person and she loves it when people compliment her, especially people who are as important to her as her siblings. She bounces a little in excitement and giggles at the memory of her shoe slapping story. "OhmyGod, Fay, you are just, like, going to love this! Oh, and Viktor totally owes me a new pair of Christian Louboutins for this, too, because mine got, like, soiled by the face of his stalker!"

Re: The Courtyard
Lily is here because it's a sunny day (even though it's night for the Americans and actually kind of a grey and shitty day here for me...) and she's just in too good a mood to be cooped up in the castle. The stone benches may be a little hard, but the air is fresh and the sun is warm and Lily is much happier to be reading over her DADA notes here than indoors.

Re: The Courtyard
James had been intending to head out to the quidditch pitch to enjoy the weather (it's dark and cold and rain/snowing here) and practice for a while, but those plans were immediately changed when he saw Evans sitting in the sun, the light glinting off her lovely hair, reading. She was so damn cute when she was reading. Which was all the time. So that meant she was so damn cute all the time. He headed over toward her, picking up some of her extra books so that he could sit down with her. Alright James, be cool. Be. Cool. "Hey, Evans. Enjoying the sunshine?"
