Luna laughed slightly and shook her head. "He was a bit shocked at first, but he warmed up to the idea pretty quickly. He's been talking about meeting Lance for a long time now, but we've both been pretty busy recently."

"Well, I'm sure that they'll get along just fine then," she says smiling. "I mean, it seems like he really does care about wanting to meet Lance and make a good impression on him, so I'm sure that things will work out there. You don't think Lance will be difficult with meeting and adjusting to Rolf... do you?" Because Dom isn't the only one who wants to know this...inner!Rolf would like to know toooooo.

"Er- I hope so. Lance and Rolf have really different personalities, but I'm sure they'll still get along. Lance loves meeting new people, and he's usually very friendly," she explained with a small smile. There you go, Rolf. "He's just...different, is all."

Dom's mouth makes something of an O shape before closing and smiling. "Ohhh...gotcha," she grins. "Well, still... that shouldn't effect how Rolf sees Lance or anything. That would be pretty ridiculous if they were unable to get along because of Lance's... preferences in style and whatnot," she says.

"It would be, but I'm sure Rolf will like him all the same. He hasn't met Fabian yet. He doesn't know many Gryffindor's though. Mostly just some Ravenclaw's in his own house. But he's really sweet, and so is Lance. I'm sure they'll hit it off when they finally meet."

After all, some of them can be rather...crazy and you don't want to overwhelm him. ~~I'd love to meet Rolf but that'd be weird.~~ Maybe Dean, Rolf, you and I could grab lunch sometime," she suggests. "That way he can get to know other people who aren't in just Ravenclaw."

IDK IF THIS WOULD BE WEIRD, BUT IT'D BE LIKE... A LITTLE LOLF/LEAN PREVIEW AND THEN TEASLEY TOO SO YEAH. But then I'd make up half the party. Meh. I'm cool.

"Great," she grins. "I'll run in by Dean and then we can figure out a time. I've been wanting to meet this Rolf guy for a while. Make sure he is good for you and whatnot. After all, from what it seems like, not many people have met him... so no one has really assessed this guy yet. You're sure he's not an axe murderer?" she asks teasingly.

Luna giggles. "I'm sure. I really want him to start meeting my friends. He did meet my dad, however. That didn't go too well at all though. My dad doesn't think he's the amazing guy that I say he is. I really want him to approve, but I can't force them to like each other, I guess."

"Really?" she says slightly surprised. "From the way you describe Rolf, he seems nearly perfect. I guess you're dad is just afraid he won't be the guy you think he is. That's ridiculous though. You've been together with Rolf for quite some time now, so your father should trust your judgement. Was there anything in particular that Rolf said or did that caused your father to doubt him?"

"Not that I can think of. He just seemed to hate Rolf from the second he walked in the door. He didn't even give him a chance to explain that he's an awesome guy," she said sadly. "Well, he did, but it was almost as if everything Rolf said went in one ear and out the other. I know Rolf would never hurt me. He said he loves me, and I know he means it," she says because she honestly doesn't know if Rolf would hurt her because the party plans are all sort of not happening now. Or maybe they are. I don't really know at the moment.

Dom doesn't know what's going on anymore either...SO YEAH. WE'LL SEE. "Well, that's just utterly ridiculous," she says, glad that her parents don't give a shit about her love life and she can just go and do whatever she damn well pleases. Yep. Well, except for that time she lived at the pickup truck... though that was about the only time. "If it's a matter of 'listening', maybe Rolf should write your father a nice, long letter on why he doesn't plan to go anywhere and how he'd really like your father to give him a chance. While you're at it, you should put some sort of charm on the letter too, so that your father is unable to burn it."

Luna purses her lips as she thinks over this plan. "I like it. That could definitely work. I'll talk to him about it. He said he really wanted things to work with him and my dad, so I'm sure he would take the time to write him a letter. I just hope my dad can take the time to read it, which I'm sure he will. I just hope he really understands how much Rolf is trying to please him, and stops giving him such a hard time."

"Just give it time too Luna," Dom says. "I mean, once he's aware that Rolf isn't going anywhere ~~hopefully~~, then maybe he'll finally get the clue and give him a chance. I'm sorry to just up and leave you right now, but I have to go and unpack some of my bags still from my trip," she says while leaning to give Luna a hug. After all, Dom doesn't want to leave Luna hanging... and doesn't want to be Eowyn right now with about ten threads paused. That's just intense. "I'll see you real soon though, and let you know what Dean says," she says while standing up.

Hopefully this lunch thing with Dean and Rolf happens soon. I bet it'll be loads of fun! See you around," she says with a wave before they both leave to do fun stuff elsewhere and not be paused.

After all, she has to take care of our son when we land ourselves in St. Mungo's for the rest of our lives *tear*. I haven't met your sister...Molly's her name, right? Only your brother Fabian," he says with a small shudder as he thinks back to the encounter in the hallway.
