"I've missed you too!" she replies, after jumping slightly from Luna's sudden shriek. "I...was on a quest," she says dramatically. "It wasn't easy to say the least. I'm not supposed to tell you what I was looking for on the quest, for that's supposed to be kept top secret. Let's just say, it's a pretty important magical item that I was able to locate and return to the proper owner. Still, it took a long time because I had to travel all over. Through seven layers of the candy cane forest, mountains of swirly twirly gumdrops, going through the Lincoln Tunnel and ending my quest in New York City. It was quite the journey."

Luna listens to Dom's tale with wide eyes, wondering what the quest could be but stopping herself quickly. One should not meddle in things that aren't to be meddled in. This is Dom's quest. Not Luna's. "Wow," she says breathlessly. "That must have been quite a journey! I bet you met a lot of interesting people along the way."

"Oh, most definitely," she replies smiling. "After all, Americans themselves are quite the characters. New York City was quite interesting. Lots of loud noises everywhere you turn. Though, when I was near the city, I saw the most peculiar thing! I'm pretty sure it was a girl, but...she was so short and orange, and had this massive poof on her head! She looked kind of like a troll...or somewhat like a gnome really. The massive guy that was with her, also as tan as she was, called her Snooki. SNOOKI. What kind of name is that?! Weird Americans."

"Snooki!? That's an odd name. Were they muggles? Maybe it's a muggle thing," she said with a shrug. "I've heard of New York City before. I've always wanted to go there, but I here it's full of muggles so I don't know if I'd fit in. I'd have to wear those funny muggle clothes and everything."

"Yeah, she must have been a muggle...though there are wizards with weird names. Like Scorpius, what kind of name is that?" she snorts. "But yes, there are muggles EVERYWHERE. Though, there is quite a nice wizarding community there. Muggle clothes actually aren't that bad," she says. "Quite comfortable actually, depending on what you do decide to wear. Actually, there are so many different options with the types of clothing. Conservative, formal, casual, skimpy, you name it."

Luna giggles. "Scorpius is a pretty odd name. My dad bought me sweatpants once from a muggle store. Those are pretty comfy. I sort of want them in other colors. Maybe I'll look for them when I go to the city one day."

"Sweatpants are the best," she agrees. "We should go shopping sometime in muggle London," she suggests. "My mum likes to take me in there because she ~~can be a snotty, uptight French bitch who~~ loves staying on top of fashion. We can get different stuff...maybe something that Rolf will love seeing you in," she says with a teasing grin. "How is Rolf?" she asks.

"That would be a lot of fun," she replies happily, blushing slightly at the Rolf comment before frowning a bit. "Um. He's okay. I haven't seen him for a few days though. We've been busy studying and stuff."

Dom studies Luna carefully before saying. "Right...studying. Luna, what's wrong? Clearly something is bothering. I mean, not seeing each other for a while because of classes? That's not a good excuse."

Luna sighs. "Well, I was talking to my friend, Gideon. Gideon Prewett. He's in Gryffindor, and Rolf knows we're close friends. We were hanging out at the dock, and his ego needed to be brought down a bit so I pushed him in. He dragged me in after him, and we went swimming together, but I guess from where Rolf was it looked like something else. I think he's a little upset at the moment because I haven't gotten a chance to explain what really happened yet."

"Mmm, that probably did look a bit bad," she says gently and sympathizing with Rolf. Dom then realizes that this isn't Rolf's account... SO NO SYMPATHY. "Well, when he does finally pull his head out of his arse and quits hiding, I'm sure you'll be able to explain the whole thing. I mean, I've never met Rolf, ~~cuz that'd be weird~~ but from what I've heard he cares about you an inexplicable amount. Just give him a little time to realize he's being ridonkulus."

"He does," she says with a small smile. "I really didn't mean to hurt him by being with Gideon. I honestly didn't think of it as swimming with a sexy, shirtless guy. It was just playing around with a friend...who happens to be shirtless and maybe a little sexy. But he's not Rolf. Rolf knows I love him more than anything. I mean, I hope he does."

"I'm sure he knows you love him Luna," she says softly. "I'm sure he's just a bit confused with the whole situation. Give him time to cool, then talk to him when he's being reasonable. Now, did you say Prewett?" she asks. "Is he related to Fabian?"

"Yes! He is. They're twins, actually. You know Fabian?" she asked, oblivious to the fact that Dom helped Fabian figure out he was gay even though we all know that was Viktor who truly made him become gay and come out of the closet. Sorry. Inner!Viktor made me point that out so everyone knows. He's quite proud of it. It's on his list of accomplishments.

"Yep...I do," she replies. "We've err...we had a moment," she says with a small shrug. "Happened in the past and it's done and over with. Best to not think back on it too much or even mention it to Dean," she says. "He's a nice guy though. Do they have any other siblings in that family?"

"Um, I think they have two younger sisters, but I don't really know them," she says with a shrug even though I think Luna might have met Molly. I don't know. If so then it was only one conversation so that statement is still true because she doesn't really know her that well.

"Wow, seems like a rather large family... though being a Weasley I suppose I can't really talk," she says with a small eye roll. Dom doesn't ask if Luna knows their names, because that would be dangerous territory considering Molly is technically her grandmother. So yeah. "Now, let's talk about something more cheerful then Gideon and the Prewett's, yeah? How are the Lunamorties?" she asks.

"Oh. The Lunamorties. Well, Lance is fantastic. I've been busy with school and everything, so he's currently being raised by house elves down in the kitchens. He seems to really like it down there. I visit him all the time. Rolf still has to meet him though," she says nervously, not sure how that little interaction will go.

"OH MY GODS!" Dom yells in slight shock, her hands flying to cover her open mouth before taking a deep breath. "Luna, that's awful," she says before moving to hug her friend. "If I had known...I swear...I wouldn't have brought it up. How is Lance doing? Is he alright?" she asks.

"It's alright. You didn't know," says a sniffling Luna as she hugs her blonde bitch back. "Lance is good though. Still stealing my shoes, but he's been having a lot of fun with the house elves. I really can't wait for Rolf to meet him. I just hope they get along and everything, you know?"
