"Okay," he says with a shrug. "Just been thinking a lot recently," he adds, not noticing that he hasn't really talked much to Sirius as they walked from wherever they were to this tree.

"I can see that. You're not yourself. Not still thinking about Reg, are you?" he asks concernedly, though he already knows the answer and he drapes an arm around his shoulder comfortingly. "Don't dwell on it. I know you've spent enough time brooding on your own. Talk to me, and don't dance around the subject, you know I hate small talk," he said bluntly, grabbing an apple off a tree and munching on it as his eyes roam about to check out any random girls walking by.

"I've just been thinking about if ve're really right for each other," he said with a sigh. "I told him I loved him, and I vosn't lying, but now I'm not so sure. Now that I'm starting to see vot kind of person he is. I don't vant to give up already. I'm just saying that I've been thinking a lot. I'm not sure vot I vant yet."

Sirius walks into a tree. No really, he does. Ow. His poor nose. "Fuck. Ow. My nose. Viktor, did you just say all that out loud, or did I imagine it? Because I'm pretty sure I just heard you say you weren't sure if you loved him anymore, and that is worthy of walking into a tree. Seeing as a month ago you were so desperately in love with him, yeah?"

"I didn't say that... Did I?" he asks, looking more upset than he did when he first started talking to Sirius. "I don't know. Maybe I did. He's a different person than he vos a month ago."

Sirius drops his apple mid-bite to throw his arms around Viktor and hug him. Awwehhh. "I'm sorry. Don't look at me like that, I don't want to see you like this," he said, looking sympathetic. "What are your reasons for staying WITH him, Viktor? Focus on that a bit?"

Viktor hugs Sirius back and smiles sadly. "Um. Vell, Regulus and I have been through a lot. I don't vant to throw all of that avay because I'm having doubts. I vant to make sure I don't make any decisions vithout really thinking things through."

I thought maybe after everything vith Grindelvald and after spending time vith me, he'd start to change," he says, not sure what else he should say to Regulus' brother. "I mean, the sex is still amazing," he says quickly. "Sorry. You told me to be honest. That's honestly the best part about our relationship these days though."

Sirius groans at that, but brushes it off. "No, I did say to be honest, it's fine. Just leave out the details," he said with a small smile. "Viktor, I- I'm sorry. I should have- I shouldn't have given you the hope that I did, that he would change. I know him better than that. I'm sorry, I feel like I could have told you that he'd be no different, but I didn't. I should have," he said, staring at the ground guiltily.

Sirius said nothing but walked beside him silently, unsure of what to say, or if anything he could say would make a difference at all. "I want you to be happy," he says finally, looking up at his friend with questioning eyes. "What would you want, if you could change one thing about anything?" he asked suddenly, curious of the answer. "If you could have anything, or anyone, I mean."

Viktor looks up at Sirius sadly because he honestly doesn't know what he wants. "That's the problem, Sirius. I really don't know. If Regulus vos a different person things could vork out. Less like the rest of his family. More like...like Fabian," he says without thinking. "Er- I didn't mean to say that out loud, and I didn't mean the fabulous part," he explains now that it's out there. "Just...more like Fabian in the vay that he doesn't care about backgrounds or bloodlines, or anything like that. Or think the Dark Arts are so amazing.," he tells Sirius, though he's still in thought because now that he thinks about it,there are a few more reasons he can think of that makes Fabian a better person for Viktor than Regulus. "Fabian knows vot he's doing in life. He has a dream, and he's sticking to it. Regulus is just...His dream is to live vith me forever. I don't know vot else there is to the guy."

Sirius looks up at Viktor in surprise, not at all expecting to hear what he heard, and stands in silence as he waits for Viktor to stop speaking. "...Fabian?" he says, still beyond confused at the moment, before thinking about it a bit more. "Fabian. I guess I understand that, what you're saying. But- about Regulus- Viktor, that isn't true. Or at least it didn't used to be. Regulus did have dreams," he said, but his expression is clear that it doesn't really help the situation. "Viktor, I've told you about his admiration of this rising dark lord. I wasn't kidding, when I said he was serious about it. Part of the reason I gave up on him when I left this summer was because he told me he wanted to join him. And earlier this year- the first time we met, actually, after the night I moved out- he was more determined than ever to join his ranks. I don't know if that's changed, and I'm assuming it has, as that doesn't really work with him moving to Bulgaria with you- but it was his dream. To join the Dark Lord." Sirius stares at Viktor, unsure how his friend will react.

Viktor stands there in silence, looking more and more nauseous with every word coming out of Sirius' mouth. "I had a feeling you vould say something like that," he says sadly. "It's great that he has dreams, but ...I just can't believe Regulus vould really vant that. At least, not the Regulus I know. He vouldn't do that," he says, though he doesn't sound convinced.

The only thing stopping him is you, and his obsessive love for you," he said, placing a hand on Viktor's shoulder. "Maybe there's still hope."

Viktor looks even worse now that he knows the only thing keeping Regulus from going to the Dark Lord is him. "Oh," is all he says at first, wishing he never left the dorm this morning. "That answers it then. I can't give up on Regulus. Not yet at least."

Sirius sighs and hugs Viktor tightly, nodding in understanding. "If that's what you want. You know how to find me, just yell HERE PADFOOT! DOGGIE TREATS! And I'll come running," he said with a wink. "Take care of yourself, man. It'll all work out, in the end." Sirius and Viktor part ways and Sirius and Viktor are both quite sad.

Dom walks outside, happy to be back at Hogwarts. After all, it was no easy journey. She traveled through the seven levels of the candy cane forrest… scaled the mountains of swirly twirly gum drops… then came through the Lincoln Tunnel. It was a long trip, which explains why people thought she was dead.

She grins when she spots her blonde bitch BFF Luna, and quickly rushes over to the tree. "LUNA!!!!" she greets happily while hugging her friend.
