"Well," Padma said, a little uncomfortably, "something happened yesterday that you need to know..." She didn't want to disrupt the date. It was so lovely and peaceful. But when else would she be able to tell him?

"Not another guy," she said quickly. "Well, Milli and I ran into this Slytherin girl on the Grand Staircase and she, um, sort-of used the Cruciatus Curse on me because she was in a bad mood..." Padma trailed off.

"I'm fine!" Padma exclaimed. "It was weird, and she tried to remove both our memories so we wouldn't remember it, but..." She shrugged. "I dunno, it was just really pointless. I didn't even get her name," she added, laughing a little. "Oh well."

"No Unforgivable Curse were directed at me," Padma replied, laughing. "I've talked to Harry a couple times, I had a Quidditch practice, but other than that, nothing much. And no," she added before he might phrase a question, "I'm not telling you what we're practicing. As far as Quidditch goes, you're the enemy." She grinned.

Andrew sighed and leaned back, placing one hand behind his head, and holding onto Padma's hand with the other. "It's really nice out tonight." He said, mostly to himself.
