Viktor smiles and kneels down to pet Padfoot some more because he brought the stick back. "That's a good doggy," he says playfully. He pushes Padfoot over on his side and rubs his belly because no one can resist a belly rub.

Lenore hopes she won't have any interruptions for a while, and Hermione takes a stroll, enjoying the fresh air. She smiles when she spots Viktor giving Padfoot a very friendly belly rub. She likes Sirius in this form best... She wanders over and sits next to Viktor.
"Hey guys," she says, and gives Padfoot a quick neck scratch in greeting.

Padfoot jumps to his feet and growls at Hermione, walks up to Viktor, nuzzles him, then proceeds to bark like a happy, mad dog in circles, chasing butterflies for Viktor's amusement.

Viktor looks up and smiles at Mya. "Hey, Herm-own-ninny. Vot's new?" he asked, laughing as he watched Padfoot run around and be adorable.

Padfoot spots a nearby squirrel, looks at Hermione, and begins to growl deviously. With a playful bark at Viktor, he gestured to the squirrel with his head as if asking a question.

"Vot? The squirrel?" he asks, remembering his first encounter with Padfoot. "I'm not stopping you. Go get it."

Hermione frowns a little as Sirius growls at her. So much for trying to get along... She brushes it off though, and smiles at Viktor. "Nothing much - you?"
She pulls out Daily Prophet and starts to skim the articles full of lies.

Padfoot barks happily, circles Hermione, growls, barks, and then takes off after the squirrel, chasing it in circles around several trees for several minutes, barking and wagging his tail and jumping to show off, just for fun. Eventually he catches it and walks over with it in his teeth, crunches down with his teeth, and drops the squirrel carcass at Hermione's feet, then bounds back into Viktor's arms looking up at him as if expecting a neck scratch, belly rub, and a puppy treat.

"Not much. Just bee-- Oh! Hey Padfoot. Wow. You caught it!" he exclaimed happily, proud of his puppy dog. He scratches him on the ears before rolling him over to rub his belly again. "That's a good doggy! Isn't he a good doggy, Mya? He caught that squirrel all on his own!"

"Charming," Hermione says, nose wrinkled, and nudges the carcass back in Padfoot's direction.

Padfoot tilts his head confusedly, picks up the carcass with his teeth, dropping it in front of Viktor. He paws the squirrel, then walks up to Hermione and gestures at her hair with his paw. "Arf?"

"Vot are you--?" He glanced at Mya and back to Padfoot. "You dirty dog, you," he said as he ruffled Padfoot's head. "Yeah, yeah. I get vot you're saying," he mumbled, though he couldn't help but grin. "I think he vanted to get you a gift," he lied, smiling happily at Mya.

"Sure he did," Hermione mutters, knowing exactly what Padfoot's getting at. She gives Viktor the 'oh, shut up, I am not an idiot' look. She calmly rolls her newspaper up and bops Padfoot on the nose with it. "Keep your dirty paws out of my hair, thanks. Merlin, this is why I prefer cats - they're much cleaner."

"MYA! How could you hit him? Look how cute he is," he told her as he brought Padfoot's face to his own, pouting at Mya with his puppy dog eyes. "Apologize to him."

Viktor laughs and rubs Padfoot on the head again because he is just so damn cute. "I don't see how anyvon could be mad at this guy. He's adorable."

"ARF!" Padfoot is the cutest thing ever right now, with his big doggy eyes, that shaggy fur, and that tail wagging about as he nuzzles Viktor's hand. "Woof woof!" Padfoot loves Master, Padfoot loves Master, yes he does, Master gives nice belly rubs!

"Yuh huh," Hermione says, completely disinterested. She goes back to her newspaper so she doesn't have to look at the adorable jackass of a dog.

Viktor grins and kisses Padfoot on the nose because he is such a good puppy, and Viktor loves his puppy dog very much indeed.

Hermione sighs and drops her newspaper, fixing Padfoot with a stern look. "Yes, your slobbery and unable to form words self is adorable, but I'm not going to pat you because you'll just bite my hand off. So you can either play nice, or you can bugger off," she announces, wondering if Padfoot remembers she's threatened to have him neutered in the past.
