Padfoot nods and wags his tail happily as Hermione scratches him behind the ears, just the way he likes it. "ARF!"

Hermione smiles and continues to scratch behind his ears, giggling a little as his tail wags more furiously when she scratches harder. "Good boy," she says without really meaning to.

Padfoot barks and jumps into Hermione's lap, knocking her newspaper away and nuzzling up to her shoulder, because he's desperate for attention like that, and Eowyn just really likes being a doggie.

"Ouch!" Hermione yelps, because Padfoot is kinda heavy. She laughs, though, because even though she is a cat-person, nobody can resist a good, playful pup. "Careful, you crazy mutt," she giggles, and does her best to both stay upright and give him awesometastic pats.
Lenore is sulking now, because she wants a puppy and can't have one while they live in a rental house. Fucking houses and shit, costing money *grumble grumble*

Padfoot yelps playfully and licks her from chin to ear, with his big, slobbery tongue. "WOOOOF!"

"EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW!" Hermione squeals. She wipes her hand over her slobbered-on face and does her best to clean it off on Padfoot's fur. "Dog slobber! You're gross, Padfoot. Rodent-eating git. Hey! Is that what happened to Peter? Did you eat him!? Because that's kind of creepy, you know. And somehow I could totally see you doing that."

Padfoot jumps back, barks, and shakes his head vigorously, and makes a rather grossed out expression, as though saying EWWWWWWWWWW THAT WOULD TASTE NASTYYY.

Hermione laughs at the look of doggy horror on Padfoot's doggy face. "Ok, ok, never happened." She reaches out her hand for more pats to calm him down.

Viktor smiles and strokes Padfoot's back because his fur is super soft and shiny. Aww puppies. "I've alvays vanted a dog," he told Mya as he continued petting his BFF.

Hermione smiles and shrugs, scratching Sirius behind the ears again because he seems to like that. "I've always been a cat person, myself, because I was never allowed a puppy. I've got nothing against them, though, and Remus is terrible at hiding the fact he doesn't like cats, so I imagine when Kiora's big enough, we'll get her a puppy. What kind of dog?" she asks, curious. teehee

"I've never really liked cats," he said with a sheepish grin, shrugging at her next question. "I don't know. Never really thought about it. A big dog, I guess. Small dogs are...bleh."

Sad puppy is just so damned sad it makes Hermione's heart break. Still, she doubts Sirius would want to spend all that time with Viktor and Regulus. What if the walls weren't soundproof?

Hermione screams in shock as she's knocked back onto the ground. "That's gonna bruise," she mutters, even though she's smiling because puppies are fun, and tries to budge his heavy body off her.

Padfoot gets frustrated because Mya won't answer his damn question, but gets off and sits under a tree on his own looking grumpy and unwanted like a homeless puppy.
