Molly stops dead and turns to Gideon, for a moment appearing totally straight, as if she's never touched a Special Cookie in her life. "Giddikins," she says seriously. "I totally love your girlfriend. I give you my full permission to keep her!"
With that, she turns and launches herself off her pumpkin battlement, landing on the ground next to Polly and Gideon, helping them tackle their enemy. Which turns out to be Fang!
"THE HOSTILE IS SECURED! GOOD WORK, TEAM!"

Polly giggles. "THE LEPRECHAUN IS FURRY! AND COLORFUL!" She's still seeing rainbows. "NOW WHAT DO WE DO, CAPT'N?"

"THANK YOU, CAP'N!" Gideon says, saluting Molly as Polly did earlier. Then, his face serious also, he says, totally loudly and intending for Polly to hear, "I intend to keep her, don't worry." And he nods decisively.

Gideon sees Polly goes Quaffle-y out of the corner of his eye. He stops dead, turns around, presses his lips fiercely to hers, but before she can react, he has turned back around, just the slightest blush on his own face. "OKAY. Sorry about that, Molly. Where to? ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!!"

Cap'n Mol salutes her soldiers. She both grins and beams: greams, at once. "Good work, team." She smirks at Gideon: Good. Bout time you stopped with the Relationship A.D.D, brother dear. Then she sees him kiss Polly and pulls a horrified face. "OH EW! GROSS, GIDDY! I DID NOT NEED TO SEE THAT! WELL, LET'S MOVE ON THEN BEFORE SOMEONE DRAWS ATTENTION TO THE INHERENT, LIKE, AWKWARDNESS OF THAT WHOLE BUSINESS! We should, like, totally take this leprechaun as a Prisoner of War! And OHMYGOD IT'S SO FURRY! It's, like, a mutant leprechaun! We should study it, see if it has special powers and then, like, harness it. IT'S AN ARMS RACE, PEOPLE, ALL'S FAIR IN LOVE AND WAR!"

Polly is blushing furiously and attempts to hide the goofy grin on her face. "MUTANT LEPRECHAUN? OMG I BET IT DOES HAVE SPECIAL POWERS!!!"

Molly looks between Gideon and Polly silently for a few moments, still trying to erase the last minute from her mind. Then she shoves Gideon unceremoniously out of the way with surprising ease for her limited size and faces Polly, standing directly in front of her and holding her gaze. Her Drill Sarge! persona is still in full force. "Polly Delacour! Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to scope out the capabilities of this here Mutant Leprechaun. You up for the challenge, soldier?"
Then her whole demeanor changes in a split second and she bursts into a gigantic grin and does a little dance on the spot. "I just, like, know you've totally got this covered!" she squeals, giving Polly a big hug. "GO GET 'EM, TIGER!" she cheers.

Polly stands up straight and nods. "AYE CAPT'N!" She giggles when Molly hugs her and she hugs back. "I will! I will!" She turns to face the Mutant Leprechaun, Fang, who tackles her and starts licking her face. "OH NO, CAPT'N, IT GOT ME! EWW IT'S ALL SLIMY TOO! IT MUST BE A SECRET WEAPON! SOME SORT OF ICKY SLIME!"

Gideon, who for some reason is coming down from his high already, is content for a minute to watch the girls. Actually, right now he really wants to snog Polly's face off, but refrains for Molly's sake. He takes a seat on a pumpkin to watch the show. "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO POLLY!" He cheers as well.

Molly's eyes widen. "WOMAN DOWN! WOMAN DOWN! BEGIN RESCUE OPS - I'M GOING IN!"
She dives into the fray, somehow ending up on the ground next to Polly, her arm around Fang's neck. She starts scratching his ears. "I THINK I GOT HIM NOW! Oh! He's, like, the cutest Mutant Leprechaun of all time. OF. ALL. TIME. Polly! OhmyGod, Polly! What if he's, like, on our side now? Oh, wait, it's just a totally giant dog," she sighs. "And I totally should've brought more Cookies with me," she comments, then starts happily scratching Fang's chin while the big animal pins both the girls to the ground and makes happy puppy noises at the attention.

Polly giggles, reaching up to scratch Fang's ears. "'e is adorable!" She's starting to not see rainbows anymore and is sort of wondering why she's pinned under a giant slobbery dog. But hey, at least they're having fun.

Gideon is now beginning to wonder how they got to Hagrid's Garden in the first place... And why they are pinned so much. "You two okay?" he asked, starting to feel concerned. They're not the biggest girls, and that dog kind of is.

Molly tries to shrug. "It's totally normal for my legs to be going numb in this kinda situation, right?" she asks, still relaxed and supremely unconcerned about anything as she continues to pet Fang. "Like, how did this even happen?"

Polly shrugs also, well, at least tries too. "I figure eet is sort of normal. Zis dog, 'ow did 'e even get on top of us? I zought we were ze one's doing ze pinning down?"

Gideon stands up decisively. "Right, that's it." And he strides over, and pushes the giant Mutant Leprachaun off the girls, extending a hand to each and helping them stand again. "Maybe we should go..."

Molly springs lightly to her feet, gream firmly in place now that she has full use of her limbs and her lungs once more. "Thanks, Giddikins!" she chirps, giving him a quick hug. "And yeah... we should totally get out of here before whoever owns that huge-ass dog, like, comes looking for it!"

Polly hops up and shakes her legs out, smiling happily. "Thanks, Gideon!" She agrees that they should probably get out of here. Wouldn't want to face that dog's owner. Who happens to be totally awesome...they just don't know it. Well, he's sort of totally awesome, except for when he's eating students...like how he ate Hermione the other day. Hehe.

"AND, LIKE UPWARDS!" Molly adds, charging off and leaving the two lovebirds far behind because she's had more than enough of that for one lifetime. Eurgh. She stops, though, about twenty paces away and then flies back, giving Polly a swift hug. "It was really great to meet you! You're, like, a really cool person!"

And then she's gone again before they can react.
