Shiny Red Ball Syndrome wears off for a bit and Molly shifts about so she's facing Viktor, sitting cross legged on the dock because I assume they'd be sitting down instead of standing awkwardly about. "Ok, seriously. You seem, like, really upset about whatever's going on and I don't want to be prattling on about my drama when you're obviously dealing with stuff. So really, Viktor - there's got to be something I can do? Listening and beating people up are just two of my diverse range of coping skills. I bake totally awesome cookies as well!"

"Cookies? I like cookies," he said with a grin. He sighs and gives up trying to avoid talking about this with Molly. She is stubborn. "It's just Regulus. He's upset over nothing, and I haven't talked to him for a few days because he's avoiding me. It'd be nice if I could talk to him and apologize, but he's obviously not letting me."

Molly grins, because now she has someone else to bake cookies for! She hopes Viktor likes white chocolate and macadamia nut cookies. Then she pulls a confused face, her little nose doing that cute wrinkling thing it does. "Um, if he's upset over nothing, why do you even, like, have to apologise? If you've done nothing wrong, then that's totally retarded. Unless gay-logic isn't like straight-logic? Whatever, that's a stupid thought. But I still think it's lame you're going to apologise for nothing!"

Molly frowns. Wow, that's a work-out for the facial muscles. They're all confused, having to go the wrong way and all.
"Well, yeah. How are you meant to, like, know what he's mad about exactly if he won't even talk to you?" Molly thinks Viktor's boyfriend is kind of being a bitch, but she doesn't know how Viktor would respond to that, so she keeps it to herself for now.

Molly, eyes wide, makes a quick show of drawing a cross with her finger over her chest: cross my heart and hope to die. She'd never tell Regulus something Viktor tells her in confidence! If possible, her eyes get even wider when he shares his story, and she bites her tongue to hold back a snigger.
"Oh. Well. I can sort of see why he's upset - it must have been pretty mortifying. But still, it's hardly your fault! It's not as if you, like, invited the whole pub to watch, right?"

He started yelling and valked on out me, and I haven't seen him since. I didn't think he'd be this upset and avoid me for this long. It sort of is my fault. He told me to leave. I didn't. But I can't control it if I have needs!" Viktor didn't mean to say that last thing out loud. Oops.

Must be hard for him, getting that embarrassed over a little public exposure, but whatever. I mean, what's a little public nudity amongst friends at the end of the day, huh?" Of course, Molly too would be pretty embarrassed, but she wouldn't sulk about it for days on end. Not like it could be undone now. Besides, Molly would have checked the door was locked.

Molly smiles. "Ok. Well, the offer totally stands anytime you want to take me up on it - no questions asked. I'm sure he does miss you as well. He'd have to be, like, completely out of his freakin' mind not to! I hope you work it out soon," she murmurs, looking out over the water and thinking that even though Regulus is clearly a whiny little bitch, Viktor is lucky to have someone to miss at all... well, someone he can openly miss without people wondering if he was a crazy stalker or hyper-obsessive type, at any rate.
