Pansy nodded at him, smiling cheerfully at him. She wasn't sure what people thought was so awful about Severus Snape. He was actually good company. She liked him. But no, Sev, not like that. "Of course! Then again... I wonder how rabbits and ferrets get along? I'm not sure if Toby would like me having a second pet, though I'm sure Draco would infinitely prefer the Lilu over Toby." She shrugged, figuring she'd just have to see how they did together, not sure what to expect. She explained her rambling self to Sev, figuring he was a bit lost. "Toby's my ferret. Daddy got him for me this summer and I brought him back to school with me. Draco's not a fan, but I think he's adorable. He's just a little baby white ferret, my pocket sized carnivore." She laughed, the nickname her mother had given it when she'd glared at the gift disapprovingly. What ever does our child need with a pocket sized carnivore!? Of course, her mother's disapproval had only made her love it even more.

... I love ferrets, I really want one. Yes, I'm naming my future ferret Draco, my future husky Moony, and my future Ashley whom I shall keep around as a hitwoman and evil advisor shall be renamed Pansy Flower, and together we will combine the forces of her badassery and my enormous breasts to take over the world, kidnap Tom Felton, Ben Barnes, and Gerard Butler for Pansy, and Trent Reznor, Eliza Dushku, and Alyson Hannigan for myself, and we'll get Alex Pettyfer to share and we'll invite Dom over for those weekends. Severus chuckled at that, wondering what Pansy's ferret was like. "I've never seen a real ferret, actually, I've kind of always thought they were cute in pictures. You'll have to introduce me to Toby sometime, as long as he treats Lilu nicely. Also, the fact you own a pocket sized carnivore just made you infinitely more badass, even more so that Draco doesn't approve. That way, when he pisses you off, you just pull out Toby and ward him off!"

I've just died laughing at that. Me, you, my badassery, and your boobs can totally take over the world. I vote yes for all those listed plans and people to steal. Ferrets are adorable, but they kind of smell. At least the ones I used to pet sit did. Maybe if like... you bathe them. Idk.

"I'll bring him along next time I disappear into the library. I'm probably right in assuming I'll probably find you in here, yeah? And it's definitely always more fun when those who think they can tell you what to do don't exactly approve of it when it's something so silly as a ferret." She laughed, thinking of how Draco was totally completely freaked out that one night she'd had Toby with her in the lounge.

This is true. I hate pets that smell. Also I forgot the horses. We will have horses and you can reteach me how to ride one because the last time I was on a horse I was fourteen and it tried to kill me and it was awesome. Well, it was an accident, we were on a mountain path in the Poconos and it stumbled over a branch that suddenly fell and I nearly died you know but it's all good. No hard feelings, horsie.

Severus smiled and nodded. "That sounds terrific. I'll see you here, sometime, I suppose? I should get going now, I've got class in a few minutes, though. How about we meet here in a day or two, and you can bring Toby, and I'll bring Lilu back with me for your turn?" he suggested, gathering his things and grinning at the once again yawning bunny.

Oh, smooth. Yes, I will reteach you to ride a horse and we can go galloping because galloping is mega fun. Falling off is most excellent. What's even more fun is when you have this really stubborn horse who doesn't want to come in to be used in lessons and so you're holding onto his neck so the girl can get the halter on him, but then he decides he's just going to run off instead, so you're clinging to a running horse's neck as he bolts across a field. Mmhm. *nods*

"I'm sure I'll be here whenever you come looking for me." She smiled at him a little, scratching Lilu on the back. "And I'll bring Toby along and you can meet him, my badass pocketsized carnivore." Pansy laughed and helped hand him a few of his things, telling him goodbye as he turned to leave.

"Alright! Bye Pansy!" he called, waving as he scooped the snoozing Lilu into his hands, and carried him off with his bag slung around his shoulder, looking almost happy.

Pansy stuck around a little while before she finally wandered off to, probably back to her own hidden study table piled in hundreds of books on dark magic. She might have slipped back into the restricted section, which should probably be a thread of it's own for Pansy to live in.

Hermione is here. Hermione is studying. Mya is too busy laughing at that tumblr to write a proper post, but here she is.

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

VIKTOR RUNS IN BECAUSE HE NEVER SEES HERMIONE ANYMORE AND HE'S BEEN COMING TO THE LIBRARY EVERY DAY TO FIND HER, AND THIS TIME SHE IS ACTUALLY HERE! HAPPY DAY!

Viktor walks into the library to study because that's what his schedule says it's time to do, and he needs to follow this schedule. It's very important. He grins when he sees his best friend and walks over to sit down next to her. "You know, I thought that by coming back here ve vould be spending more time together," he said teasingly because he knew they were both busy of course, though he didn't know that the reason Hermione was busy was because of her girlfriend.

Hermione looks up as Viktor joins her and grins happily. She's missed her best friend. Her smile fades at Viktor's joke, just a little, and she feels the guilt wrench her stomach because she has indeed neglected her other friends in order to spend all her time with her secret girlfriend. "I'm sorry," she winces. "I've been a terrible friend. How have you been?" she asks, reaching out to squeeze Viktor's hand briefly because she really does miss him lots.

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

Viktor frowns slightly. He hadn't meant to upset her at all, he understood that she was busy with her other friends and studying. Lots of studying for Hermione and however many classes she was taking. "It's fine. I understand you're busy vith things. You couldn't be a terrible friend if you tried," he said, smiling as he felt her hand on his briefly. "I've been alright. Nothing new, really," he says, thinking about what he's been up to; snogging Rolf, folding socks with Peter, the mixer, playing Quidditch even though I never post him on the pitch, it's implied that he flies every morning. It says so on his schedule. "Vot about you? I don't think I saw you at the mixer," he comments, hoping that he actually didn't see her because apparently he had quite a few conversations that night that he doesn't remember, and he'd rather not have had Hermione see him when he's not at his best which he certainly wasn't that particular night.

To Hermione's credit, she does not blush at the mention of the mixer that she never quite made it to. She does twitch a little, but she manages to turn it into a shrug as she fiddles with her quill. "No, actually. I had intended to go, but I met up with a friend and in the end she and I ended up just... catching up, and before we knew it we'd been talking so long the evening had passed us by," she says, hoping Viktor presumes her embarrassed smile is because she missed a party unintentionally and does not read further into it. "So I take it you went, then? It's a shame I didn't make it - it would have been nice to see you there. Did you have fun?" she asks, hoping people were getting used to her best friend now that they've all well and truly settled into the term, and were treating him well on his own merit and not just because he's famous.

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

Viktor smiles, glad that Hermione had fun with this friend and that she didn't go to the mixer and see him being high on who knows what while snogging some sexy guy. Not one of his most charming moments. So he'll just let her assume he behaved just how he did at the Yule Ball and continue on with his life as if that mixer didn't happen. "Vell, I'm glad you had a good night vith your friend," he said with a happy smile. "You didn't really miss much at the mixer anyvay. I just vent vith a few friends, so I had a pretty good time though it vould have been nice to see you there as vell. I ended up leaving early though." According to everyone else who actually remembers.

Hermione doesn't quite know what to make of Viktor's admission that he left the mixer early even though he apparently had a good time, so she just smiles. "I'm glad you had fun. I imagine you've made quite a few friends by now," Hermione comments, and realises that if she doesn't start taking better care of her friends, they'll all go off and find friends that will, and then where will she be? Lame post is lame.

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

Viktor would never replace Hermione with a new friend. Just saying. "Yes, I have. I've been spending a lot of time vith Molly, Rolf, and Remus recently," he says with a small smile, glad to have some new friends even if he does miss spending most of his time with Hermione. "And I finally had an actual conversation vith that Peter fellow. He's...something else," he said with a slight smirk, thinking about Peter and his love for folding clothes and washing socks.

Hermione smiles. "So you finally got to know all your dorm mates then? Er - the real Peter I suppose," she says with a giggle, because Mya just randomly remembered that James introduced himself to Viktor as Peter. She wonders what Peter's done to earn that smirk, but then the fourth Marauder does have a reputation for being a bit of a failed human (he makes a better rat, you see) so she doesn't question it. "And you still like your dorm? They haven't driven you mad with pranks and the like yet?"

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that," he chuckled. "Yes, I finally met the real Peter. He...helped me fold my socks. He's sort of an odd guy, but he's pretty friendly. And the others aren't bad. They tend to stick to the prank planning ven I'm not around. And I usually talk to Remus rather than the Sirius or James," he admits, wondering how Remus is so mature while the others are so...not. "James isn't really around much. Neither is Peter but he's not bad ven he is. And Sirius...is loud." That is the best word Viktor has to describe Sirius at the moment. It pretty much sums up his personality according to Viktor.

Hermione giggles just a little. "I could say that of a lot of the boys around here," she comments, thinking of Gideon. Oh, wait, don't think of Gideon, because that way awkwardness lies. "So, have any of the Hogwarts boys caught your eye?" she asks, grinning impishly. How nice it is to have a best friend that she can talk about boys with. Well, Hermione would find it nicer if she was interested in talking about boys herself, but it's not so hard to pretend.

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

Viktor smirked, thinking of quite a few boys who have caught his eye. "A few," he says with a grin. "Molly and I usually spend our mornings keeping an eye on all the guys in the Great Hall. There is this von Ravenclaw that's been a recent favorite of mine," he says, the smirk returning to his face as he thinks about his experimenting session that he'll be having later today. "And this von Hufflepuff," he adds, thinking of Rad. He decides to leave out Remus, remembering that he was still trying to keep things quiet for now. "And yourself, Herm-own-ninny? And guys out there...besides Percy, that is," he says teasingly. Oh shit. Hermione's reading a big book. Bad idea to joke about that when she's got a weapon near her.

Hermione smiles. "Well that sounds nice," she says, feeling a twinge of jealousy because Viktor has mentioned Molly a couple of times now, and clearly they are very close. "I've met Molly once or twice in the past because we live in the same head, she's friendly. I met her brother a little while ago," she says simply, and then whacks Viktor in the arm with her book. Because that is indeed her weapon of choice. "Stop it. You know that was just one awful date. I feel like we should've agreed never to speak of it again. But no, there's no other boys I'm interested in," she says, and is not lying about that. Uh huh. Semantics is a beautiful thing.

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

"She's very frie-- Ow!" He pulls the fake pout and adds the puppy dog eyes for good measure. "Vos that necessary? It's probably going to bruise," he says as he rubs his arm, inspecting it to look for broken bones. Nope. He's all good...This time. His pout turns into a smirk and he stops rubbing at his arm, which for the record has no bruises whatsoever. Not even a scratch. "Fine. I promise not to bring it up again...Unless you give me a reason to, that is," he says teasingly. "Vell, even if you're not interested in them, I'm sure they're interested in you. You should come boy vatching von of these days. I can hook you up on a real date vith von of the straight guys," he grins, knowing that Hermione is perfectly capable of getting any guy she wants without his help. "I can't have Percy ruining your image of all men after all, can I now?"

Hermione smirks and nudges Viktor playfully as he drama queens out over his arm. Really, it's not like she punched him in the face, so what's his problem? "What reason could you possibly have to bring that up again? Unless you like torturing your best friend, of course, in which case I will find myself a heavier book to use in the future." She shakes her head when he mentions setting her up with a straight boy. Aside from the fact that she already has a girlfriend, Hermione still has no interest in spending her precious time chasing after boys. Nor does she wish to have them chasing her, not that she really believes anyone is interested in her that way. "I don't have time for all that nonsense, Viktor," she says lightly. "When I have more time to spend with my best friend, then maybe I'll think about it."

[Viktor Krum - Inactive]

"A heavier book? Heavier than this?" he asks, chuckling lightly as he lifts her book up in one hand, holding it for a moment as if he's weighing it out. "Hm. I guess I'll just keep my mouth shut then." He chuckled and set the book back down on the table, wondering if he impressed Hermione with his skills because he lifted that entire book with just one hand. "This is true," he says as he strokes his goatee. "Ve can't have you spending time vith some boy ven you barely have time for me as it is." Oh! Idea! Stroking the goatee is always a helpful task. Viktor pulls out his schedule that Hermione made him because he carries it everywhere. He sets it out on the table between them and looks at her very seriously, trying to keep a straight face. "Ve need best friend time," he points out as he pokes the schedule. "I didn't think it vould have to come to this, but if it means ve get to talk more than so be it, I vill schedule a time ven I get to see my best friend. How do Tuesdays vork for you?," he asks with a straight face before the facade breaks, and he bursts out laughing-- Not loudly, of course. They're in a library.

Hermione carries around about six of those books in her bag every day. She's not impressed that Viktor can life one. JS. <3
Hermione greams to see that Viktor still actually uses the schedule she made him, she's excitedly pulling it closer to figure out how flexible it is when he bursts into quiet laughter. She arches an eyebrow at him. "Tuesdays are no good for me. I think Wednesdays would be better. Here, we can change this one," she says, and taps the small square earmarked 'Quidditch'. It turns into 'Best friend time' and Hermione smiles innocently, pushing the schedule back towards Viktor. "There we are, all fixed."
