Al freezes slightly at the mention of Remus' brother. How was James Sirius going to react to all of this? Al hadn't even thought about telling him about being gay yet, though he knew James would always love him, this would certainly come as a shock to Al's brother. Maybe. Dom hadn't been all that surprised. "Yeah...It is. I know they're always going to be there for me. Who's your brother?" he asked curiously.

"Dean Thomas. His dad met my mom years ago, so we're technically only half brothers, but I think of him as a blood brother just because we're so close..." even though they hadn't seen each other in a while, which sucked, "I told him about me being gay shortly after I finally stopped denying it to myself. He handled it really well which meant a lot to me. Do you have any other siblings besides your sister Lily?"

"Hm. Never heard of him. That's cool that you guys are so close though. I have an older brother, James Sirius. He's in Gryffindor like you, so I don't really see him that often. He's pretty cool though. I can usually tell him anything, and he's...sort of understanding. I haven't told him about being gay yet though," he admits, still moving his pie around on his plate.

Excuse Remus while he's a little freaked out that Al's brother's name is, like, made up of two of Remus' best friend's names. Hahaha. "Oh, I've never met him. Well, if you think you can, you should try telling him. He's your brother so...that means he should be understanding, right?" Remus hopes it goes over well, anyway.

I DIDN'T EVEN THINK OF THAT! HAHAAHHHAHAHAH *dead*

"I'm sure I will the next time I talk to him. I won't be able to keep it from him forever, so it's best to do it sooner rather than later," he says with a sigh, absentmindedly drumming his fingers on the edge of the table. "I already told my friend. Telling James will be easy after that."

"I'm sure it will be." he smiled encouragingly. "Though if for some reason it doesn't go over well...he'll come around eventually I'd bet, cause you're his brother. It may just take some time."

Al smiled, feeling slightly better from his talk with Remus, though he wasn't sure why he told him so much. Maybe he just needed a stranger to talk to, or maybe it had something to do with them having so much in common. Either way, Al sure didn't feel as bad as he did before, though he knew deep down that he'd go back to being sad once he was alone again. Without his best friend to talk to about things. "I'm sure you're right. James has always been there for me in the past. I'm sure he'd be understanding about everything."

Remus smiled, nodding. He couldn't help feeling better too now that he'd spoken to Al...he figured it must be because they had so much in common that he had spoken so freely. "I hope he is. It's really helpful to have people you can go to when you need someone to talk to." Remus had never really gone to talk to people that much before, besides Sirius, preferring to think his problems out for himself, but he'd learned, a lot this year, that it really did help to have someone, or someones, to go to when you needed to talk out loud and maybe get another opinion. He was glad that he had Viktor, Molly, and Rad to go to for help now along with the other Marauders.

"Well, I won't know for sure until I tell him so I guess I better take care of that one of these days." He took another small bite of the pie. It really was amazing, he just wished he was in more of a dessert eating mode so he could better enjoy it. "Anyway, I should probably go look for him soon. Now that I've got that on my mind, I can't stop wondering how he'll react. Thanks for the pie though...and for listening. I really appreciate it."

"You're welcome, and thank you for listening to me too. I also appreciate it." Remus smiled, putting the rest of the pie in a container and handing it to Albus. "Here, take the rest of it. I'm really glad you liked it! Good luck with your brother."

"Thanks," he says as he takes the pie from Remus, feeling bad that he wouldn't be able to share it with Scorpius. He stood up to go, taking his time as he pushed his chair in. "And...Good luck with your friend. I hope things turn out alright," he said softly before smiling once more at Remus and walking out of the kitchens to go find his brother.

"Thanks." Remus smiled, then cleaned up some stuff before leaving to go outside and sit on the steps to think.

"Uhhh, its up to you. I mean, if you want to make something you can but if you don't want to you don't have to." He said and smiled at her. ~~"We just can't have cheese because our cholesterol will go up to 900."~~

"Oh, erm..okay." She stood up and walked over to the pantry. She opened it and started looking for something to make. "Do you want a meal, or like..dessert or something?" She looked over at him.

She laughed at him. She hadn't really had a full meal yet, so she decided to make something big. She looked back at the pantry and started grabbing ingredients, throwing them on a nearby counter. She then went over to the fridge/freezer and grabbed some chicken and vegetables and other random ingredients. She set them on the counter and then went to put a large pot of water on the stove. "So, I've been curious since our one conversation..about..your past.." She pointed her wand at a knife that started chopping the celery, onion and carrots.

"What one conversation?" He asked, because he didn't remember having a conversation about pasts. He stood up and walked over to her, leaning on the counter and watching what she was doing. It looked complicated.

She started cleaning the chicken breasts off, then placed them in the now boiling water, along with various spices and whatnot. "Well. I was just curious about.." She blushed and started mixing some flour, baking soda and powder, salt, sugar, and some milk together. She then rushed out. "I was just wondering how many girls you've been with." She blushed even more red and kept her head down.

She was still blushing as she set everything down. She just had to wait for the chicken to finish cooking before she could move on to the next step. She still wouldn't look at him. "Well. Both I guess..."

"Well, I haven't dated many, maybe, 6 or 7?" He said with a shrug. "And...girls I have slept with well I don't really know. I don't keep track." he said with a shrug. What a ho.
