Re: Another Kitchen
She was shocked. She didn't really know what to expect. "Oh." She poked the chicken, to see if it was cooked yet. Since it was magical cooking, it doesn't take as long as muggle cooking.
Re: Another Kitchen
"Uhhh, Yeah." He said and peeked in the pot to see what was happening in there. "Why?"

Re: Another Kitchen
"Just...curious I guess." She suddenly felt very... inadequate and, well, like a child. She grabbed the chicken out of the pot and set them off to the side so they could cool off before getting cut up. She put the vegetables into the pot so they could cook while the chicken cooled. She still couldn't look at him.
Re: Another Kitchen
"Oh." He said and shifted on his feet a bit. "Are you alright?" He asked, wondering why she wasn't looking at him.

Re: Another Kitchen
"Mhhm." Lies. She went back to the flour mixture she made earlier and added some shortening and buttermilk, stirring slowly until it was a nice soft dough. She sprinkled the counter with flour and put the dough on it, spreading it out then cutting strips. She rolled the strips up into little balls then went to cut up the chicken. "Almost ready.."
Re: Another Kitchen
He nodded and watched her a little longer, noticing she still wasn't looking at him. "Are--Are you sure?"

Re: Another Kitchen
She nodded while still looking down. She couldn't tell him how idiotic she felt. She dumped the chicken back in the put them put the rolled up balls of dough on top. She put the lid back on. "About ten more minutes." She went over and washed her hands. Crap, she was out of things to do now. She'd have to look at him soon.
Re: Another Kitchen
"Then why won't you look at me?" he asked, following her over to the sink.

Re: Another Kitchen
She finally looked at him. "What are you talking about?" She tried to smile, but it looked forced.
Re: Another Kitchen
"Millicent." He said giving her a look that was like Come on. "Just tell me what I did. Did I say something wrong?" He asked, stepping closer to her.

Re: Another Kitchen
She sighed. She knew he wouldn't give up until she told him. "You didn't do anything wrong. I just...I just feel so childish, and inadequate. That's all." She blushed and looked down again.
Re: Another Kitchen
She sighed again and still looked at the floor. "You're just so....experienced. And I'm so...not." She wasn't sure if that made any sense. "It makes me feel like a child." She shrugged.
Re: Another Kitchen
"Oh." he said and sighed. "Well...that's just dumb." He said bluntly. "You shouldn't feel childish because of something stupid like that." he said and shrugged.

Re: Another Kitchen
"Well, that's just how I feel. I don't really get why you'd want to be with someone as inexperienced as I am." She was still looking down, but when over to take the pot off the stove. She took the lid off so the contents had a little time to cool before being served.
Re: Another Kitchen
He just stared at her. "Well...Thats just a really dumb thought, because I don't care if you're inexperienced." He said and shrugged because he could totally make her experienced if she wanted. Yup.

Re: Another Kitchen
"I just feel...pressure to be...good now. And I know I won't be." She was blushing like crazy. She went to search for some bowls and a ladle so she could serve out some of the chicken and dumplings.
Re: Another Kitchen
He shook his head. "Why are you being so stupid?" he said bluntly. "Like...really..Do you think I would care about that?" He asked, sounding a bit annoyed because he doesn't care if she is good or not, but he thinks she is probably good.

Re: Another Kitchen
She glared at him. "Sorry I'm just telling you how I feel. Guess I won't do that anymore." She practically threw the bowls down by the pot, she then ladled some fluffy dumplings and chicken stew into the two bowls. She grabbed some eating utensils and handed him a bowl without saying anything more. She wasn't stupid, and hated being accused as such.
Re: Another Kitchen
He stared at her dramaticness, if that is even a word and rolled his eyes, walking over to the table and sitting down. "You're being a bit of a drama queen, if you haven't noticed." he said, not eating yet.
Guest- Guest
Re: Another Kitchen
She stared, her mouth slightly open. "I'm being a drama queen? I don't think so. You asked me what was wrong and I told you, then you called me stupid. So, if you're going to call me stupid for telling you how I feel, then I'm just not going to bother anymore." She sat down and glared at everything in sight.
Re: Another Kitchen
"Okay, well seriously, you're ignoring me for the dumbest reason ever......" he said and stared at her.
Guest- Guest
Re: Another Kitchen
"What! I'm not ignoring you at all. What are you talking about." She continued to glare.
Re: Another Kitchen
"Okay, well like 5 minutes ago you were ignoring me for answering your question honestly. It was dumb." he said and shrugged, staring at her, not glaring, just staring.

Re: Another Kitchen
"Well, sorry I felt a little dumb after hearing about how many people you've been with. Sorry if it made me a little nervous." She crossed her arms over her chest.
