Let's just say that there is a bubble over this portion of the lake, and it is now totally warm and awesome. Mmkay? Good. Now Dominique is walking outside because her characters are really into walking around outside today, when she suddenly spotted Teddy. It had been ages since she last saw him. Excited, she quickly made her way over to him. "Teddy!" she exclaimed, giving him one of those big Weasley-esque hugs.

Teddy grinned, finding himself surrounded by blonde hair and Dominique's perfume. "Dom! It's been ages," He said, repeating her exact thoughts. "How are you?"

Woah. Teddy is a mind-reader now!? Shit. What number between 1 and 10 is Dom thinking of? Anyway. "It's been way too long! I've been pretty good. Just busy with classes and whatnot. What about you?" she asked.

7. "Same old boring thing? Me too." Teddy grabbed her hand and sat down in the sand, pulling her with him. "Sit." He told her, letting go of her hand once she was. "Is it just me or does it seem like this place was a whole lot funner last year? Maybe it's just time for me to go."

O.O Really close...which is kind of freaky. Poor Dom is going to have to put up a mental shield and block her thoughts from Teddy. "Well alright," she said, sitting down when she was pulled to the ground. Why would she protest anyway? That would be silly. "I agree. It seemed like a lot more happened last year. Now everyone is so focused in school work. Wait...you aren't really that excited to leave, are you?" she asked, unable to imagine Hogwarts without him.

"Of course not, Hogwarts is like my home." Teddy said, looking up at the castle, "But you've got to wonder how life's going to be without it. The past seven years have been the same old thing, it will be nice to mix it up." He looked back at Dom, "You don't think so?"

"Well, I suppose I understand what you mean. It will be nice to see what life is like out of Hogwarts. To finally be considered an adult," she said before sighing lightly. "But admit it, you're going to miss your best friend so much. It's going to be killing you that I'm stuck in Hogwarts for another year," she nodded.

Teddy rolled his eyes, "Great solution. I'll fail a year, then we can graduate together!" Can people even fail at Hogwarts? I don't think so. "But really, it won't be so bad. Time always goes quickly here, you'll barely even notice I'm not here. And we'll write each other."

"Oh! I like that plan," she said with a nod. It was rather good. Why hadn't she thought of it before? "But I suppose you're right," she sighed before pouting a bit. "But writing isn't the same! I mean, what if you don't really tell me everything? In person I can gage when you're withholding information or the truth. Letters though? I cannot pester you easily."

Teddy narrowed his eyes, "I think I'm a much better liar than you're giving me credit for." He told her, "And I think you could pester just as easily through letters. Remember that summer you went to France? You sent me a ten page letter. One whole page was spent discribing the quality of the food."

"You are pretty good at lying...but I've known you for so long that I can notice the little things you do when lying," she shrugged. "Wait, my ten page letter was pestering?" she asked, as if it was complete news to her. "But I thought you enjoyed my letter! You responded to the part of the food with such enthusiasm too. Now I know it was all sarcasm," she huffed, crossing her arms over her chest.

"Maybe my sarcasm isn't direct enough for you. Should I buy a different colour ink specifically for when I'm being sarcastic? I wouldn't want to confuse you." Teddy smiled.

"Yes, when you decide to use sarcasm in letters, you need to use either orange or pink ink. Otherwise it'll go right over my head. Who knows? Maybe I'll start talking about something in my letters to you, like about NEWT classes or boys, and you just don't want to hear me ramble? Use that orange or pink ink Lupin," she said seriously.

"Fine, it won't be ten pages. What about... five pages?" she asked with an innocent expression. She then shook her head and laughed. "Only kidding. I wouldn't bother you with such things. Though, it's not as if Victoire and I have really talked lately," she sighed.

"You haven't talked? Why not?" Teddy asked, slightly confused. Although Dom and her sister had always had the typical arguements that siblings have, he had always thought they had a pretty relationship. Of course, it wasn't too often he saw them together during the school year. Maybe seeing each other around school sporting different houses colours accentuated their rivalry. "Last time I saw her, you guys were good."

Dom shrugged for a minute, thinking about her sister and how much she seemed to have changed. "I dunno," she sighed. "It's hard with her being in Slytherin. It's as though her personality has adapted to be like a lot of the people in that house. I mean, not that Slytherin is all that bad. Al is still the same person he was before he was sorted there. I just...she seems more distant lately. I just haven't seen her," she said sadly, missing sibling time with Victoire.

"Maybe she's just one of those girls, the ones that change to fit in. She was never as," He paused for a minute, thinking of the right word, "Strong-minded as you, you know? She always copied the current styles, hung out with the right people. Maybe she just doesn't know where to fit you in this new life she's built herself. I'm sure once the summer comes you two will be alright again."

"Yeah, I suppose you're right," she said, letting out another sigh. Perhaps she ought to talk to Louis as well and see what his thoughts were on the whole thing. For all she knew, Victoire and Louis were hanging out much more and she was just the left out sibling. How sad. "I hope so," she said. "Just the fact that we won't be in our Gryffindor and Slytherin robes might help."

"Exactly. Who knows, she could be just bitter that she has to wear a green robe. She always did say that green wasn't her colour, didn't she?" Teddy smiled at Dom, "She's probably just jealous that you get to wear red."

"Very true," she said with a light laugh, feeling much better about the whole thing. "Thanks Teddy. I suppose I should try and talk to her soon," she shrugged. She knew her and her sister had quite a few differences, but they were still family in the end. "So tell me, there's got to be something interesting that you've been up to."
