"No, not really. My life has been beyond dull. Something intresting needs to happen soon, though. I've been spending my free time studying." He shook his head mournfully, "You know something's wrong when you spend your free time studying."

"That doesn't sound fun at all," she said, wrinkling her nose at the thought. "Well, I suppose that is good though because of NEWT classes. I'm sure the teachers have just been piling on the course work. I mean, that's what they are doing with OWL classes as well. I can only imagine NEWT ones are so much worse."

"It's not too bad, as long as you're already in the habit of studying." Teddy told her, "If you study this year and next, you'll be all right. Plus, you can have my notes." He leaned back and rested his weight on his hands, "I wonder how I'll spend all this time next year. I've been thinking of buying a boat. That would be cool, don't you think?"

"That's true. I definitely do expect your notes after you graduate," she said seriously. She figured that since he had already offered, she was going to take him off on that offer. "A boat?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "You're going to get a boat. Well...where exactly do you plan on going?" she asked with a light laugh.

Is it obvious that I'm thinking about summer? And want to go sailing? I think not. "I just think it would be cool, don't you?" Teddy asked, "I don't know where I could keep it or how to even get one, but it would be something I could work on on those boring days."

"Well, it definitely would be a good hobby I suppose," she said with a small shrug. "I think it'd be fun to go to different places around the Mediterranean. I mean, I've been to France countless times, and it's always so beautiful in the summer. It'd be neat to go to Spain, Italy, Greece..." she suggested.

Teddy nodded, "Yeah, travelling would be a lot of fun. It would be cool to just travel around the world for a bit after graduation, don't you think?" Of course he knew that he would never be able to afford something like that, even if he got a job over the summer. "You've only ever been to France, right?" He asked her, thinking he would definitely have remembered if she went anywhere else.

"I think that right after graduation is definitely the best time to do it," she agreed. "I mean, once you get a job, then settle down and have a family, it'll be nearly impossible to just go out and see the world a bit. If it's something you really want to do, I say go for it, she said. "Yes, only to France. It'd be cool to see different cultures. Maybe if I'm in France this summer, you could stop by and see me!" she suggested with a grin.

"Yeah, it would definitely have to be done before any huge commitments are made. But I don't plan on getting married in the next few years, so anytime then should be fine." Teddy said with a smile, "Maybe I could go to France." He nodded, "But you'd have to be my personal translator, because I don't speak French at all." Languages were not his talent, he only spoke english. "And I'm not too sure my grandmother would be fine with me just Apparating to France for a few days. Although, she knows your parents pretty well..."

"Well, not only will I be your I be your personal translator, but I'll be your personal tour guide as well. Just think! There are so many places that I could show you. If your grandmother is really uncomfortable with letting you apparate to France, then I could get my parents to talk to her and convince her that you'd be totally fine. I mean, no guarantees my dad will be there, but maman will definitely come along. We won't let you get lost or killed," she promised with a grin.

"That would be really intresting," Teddy admited, thinking of Dom showing him all the high class places in France. Of course, he was just assuming that Dom's mom would only be a part of the best clubs and know the most important people, and from hearing of Victoire's new attitude, she was probably the same. "I won't get lost of killed? Well, that's reassuring. Tell me, do people from France generally kill of unsuspecting tourists? Should I be more careful around your mom?"

"Oh, you haven't heard?" she asked, giving him a slightly shocked expression. "They always take their wands out on suspicious blokes. Now, it's even worse because of your hair colour. They'll be really worried about you there. In fact, they just might kill you because of that hair of yours," she said seriously. "Oh, and you should definitely be more wary of my mum. She's hated you ever since you were a little boy," she nodded.

"But isn't blue one of France's national colours? It's on the flag, at least. What if I did blue, red and white? Would they still kill me?" He seriously considered turning his hair all three colours for a moment, then decided the red wouldn't look very good with his Gryffindor colours. "You're mom? Hates me? No way, she's always so nice to me. Inviting me along on little family gatherings and all that. In fact, I think she perfers me." He told Dom with a smile.

"Hmm, that's a good point. I suppose if you demonstrated a sense of nationalism, they wouldn't kill you," she said. "No, she totally hates you," she said seriously. "I mean, she's only nice to you because she doesn't want to hurt mine or Vic's feelings. Wait, prefers you?!" she asked, eyes widening. "That is so not true! Why would she prefer you over me?! I'm her daughter!"

"Well, maybe I should stop going over to your house all the time, then. I wouldn't want to be such a burden." Teddy laughed at her expression, "Don't worry, Dom, I'm kidding. Of course she doesn't prefer me. How could you even believe me?" He shook his head, "Sometimes you are just so gullible."

She huffed in response, though for some reason she did feel as though her mum preferred Teddy over her. "Well for some stupid reason, I find myself often trusting you," she said, crossing her arms over her chest. "Rather stupid of me since you're such an insufferable git half the time." Dom is moody for some stupid reason. I blame Fleur. Thanks a bunch Elise. THANKS. A. BUNCH. "Maybe you should have my room at Shell Cottage. I'll just go and live in a pickup truck."

Dom's time of the month? Teddy will not pull out the 'at least you have parents' card, because that would be awkward. "Hey, I am not an insufferable git. In fact, I take offence to that. And I am trustworthy." He couldn't help but laugh a little bit at the pouty look on her face, "I don't even want your room, it's too girly for me."

Oh, funny. It is so not her time of the month though. Nope. She's just moody. And good thing he didn't pull the parents card. That would be just sad and mean. "Hey, it's not that girly anymore!" she argued. "I actually changed it last year. It's no longer that pink colour with the centaur theme. I figured it was time for a change. Not that you'd know that though since you haven't been to my room in ages. You'd much rather hang out with Victoire," she said, giving him a pointed look, though unsure if he still liked her sister.

Teddy frowned, "I'm only kidding, Dom. If you want, we can Apparate there right now and you could show me." He rolled his eyes when she mentioned Victoire, "Not this again. You know, I could start teasing you for all the boys you could possibly like. I'm just a nicer person than you, I suppose." He told her, seeming to sit up a little straighter.

Something told Dom that going to Shell Cottage right now would be a bad idea. She just had this feeling that there were house guests there right now who were rather busy. Hmm. Weird feeling. She sighed, for he just kept on denying it. "I don't see why you deny it all. I offered to talk to Victoire about it all," she shrugged. "I've got my mind off boys for now," she said. "I figured it was better to focus on school. Especially after the whole Lysander thing. And yes, I guess you are just that much of a nicer person," she said with a light laugh.

"Well, Dom. You win. I admit it. I'm in love with you sister. How does that make you feel?" Teddy rolled his eyes for the second time in two posts, "Please don't talk to Victoire about it. We're just friends, I promise. Besides, you wouldn't actually want us to date, now would you? You'd be forced into the third wheel position forever. And maybe I just want to focus on school now, too." He smiled at her now, "Don't worry about my dating life. I've got plenty of things up my sleeve."

Dom blinked for a moment. He was really in love with her? Well, she thought that he liked Victoire, but love? She wasn't sure how that made her feel. For some reason it made her feel uneasy and unsure about it all. "Oh," she breathed, realizing he was kidding. "Fine, yeah, I won't talk to her," she said, realizing she didn't really want her best friend and sister in love with each other. That was kind of selfish, but oh well. "Alright, focusing on school is a much better idea. Maybe you just shouldn't date anyone for a long time," she suggested.

Teddy gave Dom a shocked look, "Shouldn't date anyone for a long time? Should I become a hermit? Live all by myself, up in a little cave on a mountain." He smiled, "Actually, that doesn't sound half bad. I could find a nice little mountain with trees. Maybe by a lake. Water would be important." He nodded, "Yeah, this could work. Care to join me?"

"Well as much as I'd love to join you, that would defeat the meaning of the word 'hermit'," she said, rolling her eyes. "Just imagine if it was just you and I in the mountains. I don't think you'd be able to put up with me for too long. You'd probably want to kill me and then leave my body for the bears to eat. I think I'll just live in a pickup truck instead."

Teddy laughed, "Actually, you're probably right. Unless the mountain cave had two rooms, there's no way that would work out. Maybe I'll just have my cave, you can have your pickup truck, and you can come park outside my cave every once in a while." He smiled, "It's really the perfect solution, because whenever I want you gone I can just roll you away."
