Seamus grinned happily. "Thank you. I hope she does, otherwise I'll be stuck mindlessly hoping she'll make a move." He stretch out, yawning widely. "I think we're going to Hogsmeade this weekend. That's my chance to really test out my self-control, see if I can hold back." His eyes turned to Dean. "Again, I'm sorry about Luna. Things will probably work out eventually. She's probably noticed you aren't around, which might make her realize how much she needs you. Not quite what happened with Lavender, at least I don't think so, but something has to happen at some point. I'm actually not even sure what happened with us; if she broke up with him for me or just because she cheated on him. Maybe even both." His head fell into his hands. "Girls are so confusing..."

Dean nodded again. "That they are my friend. I feel a little bad, because we had talked about taking this trip to Sweden, but now she probably doesn't want to go. She'd probably rather take that Rolf guy." Dean snorted then sighed. "What I really hate is that I'm being such a giant baby about all this. I wish I could just be like 'Yo, whatever girl, I don't care. Do what you want.' But I do care, and it sucks. I actually almost left. For good. But Neville convinced me to stay, since we only have a few more months left. If I hadn't talked to him, I wouldn't even be here right now."

"If you had told her that she probably would've thought you didn't like her or you had stopped caring over all. That would pretty much ruin any chance at all." As he said this, he rolled up his sleeves and dug into the sand, patting clumps together with water. "Thank God you didn't leave. It's nice to have someone to talk to that understands what you're going through. Were. Kind of still are. Er, you get the point." A lump had formed, and he tried to smooth the top, attempting to make a castle. "You can push through. Plus, who knows, things might turn around by then."

Dean reached around and dug around in his bag, then pulled out a little tool that he sometimes used when he did his more elaborate drawings. He handed it to Seamus so he'd be able to use it to help build his sand castle. "Yeah, you're right. I would have felt bad just leaving you guys. Especially since Nev is going through his first breakup. So, I'm going to try and put all my shit aside and help you two. That's the right thing to do. I'm done being so selfish." He nodded once and smiled at his friend. Then he shrugged and decided to make his own castle. He removed his cloak and got to work, mixing some sand with water and patting it all down.

Seamus nodded gratefully for the tool, then fixed up the mess. "I was kind of selfish too, so don't feel so bad. From an outside perspective I bet it looks normal, natural, whatever the word is. Still, I feel bad that I haven't talked to Neville yet. I'll need to do it the first chance I get." He sprinkled more water on a different spot and began working on the walls, putting watch towers every few inches. "Do ya know why they broke up?"

Dean shrugged as he continued to work on his dome shaped castle. "No. I don't Neville was really all that sure. He seemed a bit torn up, but you know, not really trying to show it. Anyways, we're still trying to plan like a dorm get together. You know, like old times. With just us guys. Me, you, Nev, Harry, and Ron. Just hanging out like we all used to before things got complicated."

He sighed. "I miss that. Everything's just been so hectic..." Part of the tower tumbled apart, and he tried to shove it all back to its original spot. "Haven't really seen Ron or Harry around in forever, before I even started to mope around. Wonder what's been happening with them..." The tower fell to pieces once more, and he crushed the walls in exasperation. "Seriously, don't even know how Muggles do this without magic."

Dean nodded. "I haven't seen Ron in a while, but I saw Harry one night when I was a little intoxicated." He looked a tad guilty, then quickly laughed at his friend's feeble attempt. "Well, patience is usually key to it. See?" He moved his hands to reveal his awesome "castle", which was really just Spongebob's pineapple shaped house. Not really a castle at all.

"Pft. You did that because you're an artist. My drawings and such consist of stick figures and mis shapen lumps. However, I am rather skilled at making things spontaneously combust," he said lamely, waving his wand jokingly, then tapping the sand to make it form a small figure of Hogwarts. "Anyway, I'd go on an epic search for them, but, ya know, all that jazz that's goin' down now. Gotta focus on keeping it cool with Lav so she knows to make the first move plus catching up with the pile of schoolwork I've neglected. Meh."

Dean patted Seamus' shoulder. "It's okay mate. Look on the bright side, you haven't lost any hair this year! You're getting better at it!" Which was also good for Dean, since he was usually in the firing range as well. "And if you need any help with the homework, I've got everything all finished. You can copy if you want. I don't really care. Just don't let Hermione see, of course. I'm rooting for things between you and Lav to work out. At least one of us needs their happy ending."

"Yeah! I'll just change a word or two so that it's not too obvious. Mostly worried about Snape's essay. Can't even remember what the damn thing was on." He laughed, twirling his wand back into his robes. "Thanks mate, I really hope you and Luna figure things out. Or, more so, Luna finally understands that you're right for her. How many times do girls need to lead you on and then turn around and date some random Ravenclaw?"

Dean laughed. "Well, I can't really help you there. In case you forgot, I'm no longer in potions. Everything else though, I've got your back." He smiled then sighed. "And I know! What is it with these Ravenclaw guys? I mean, we always destroy them at Quidditch, plus we are far better looking. I just don't get girls.."

"Ohh, yeah. Hmm, well if I can find Harry, which may never happen, I know that he's still in it. That could work." He shrugged slightly. "We do cream them. It just sucks that I didn't make the team this year. We definately look a hundred times better than them, yes. Girls sometimes say they prefer personality, but we beat them on that, too. So what is it? The fact that they wear blue?"

"I just do'nt know man. I wish I did, but I just don't. " Dean sighed and knocked over his sand pineapple. "Hey, I need to head back up to the castle. You wanna come? Or are you going to chill out here for a while longer?" Dean stood and wiped some sand off his pants.

"I think I'll stay here for a bit, think about things." He waved to his friend. "See ya later, mate!" He waved one final time, then snuggled back into the still sun-warm sand, even though night was slowly falling.

Molly is here, lounging in the sun because she doesn't feel like doing anything but relaxing. Well, if she sees the Giant Squid she might wave at him, but that's about it. *cue Reed*

Reed was sick of being stuck in his dorm painting. So he loaded on the sunscreen and made his way to the beach hoping to maybe get a little bit of inspiration. He's almost to the beach when he trips on a rock. "Woooah...Oh!" He was completely shocked when he righted himself before he completely fell. He was smirking to himself and felt pretty cool right now. That's when he noticed someone with really pretty hair sitting nearby. "Oh. Hello! Mind if I join you?" He gave her an adorable smile.

Molly hears the sound of someone tripping and turns her head just in time to see a boy with adorably curly hair righting himself. She giggles quietly, amused by how pleased with himself he looks, and a broad smile graces her face. "Sure! Like, plenty of sun for everyone," she chirps, pushing her sunglasses back up her nose. The pale ginger is also loaded with sunscreen, of course. "I'm Molly."

Reed's smile gets even bigger. "The Molly? I'm Reed! It's nice to meet you. I've heard a lot about you. And a lot about your cooking skills." He giggles and plops himself in the sand. "Sorry, Kras has told me a lot about you, and I haven't really met one of his other friends yet."

Molly blinks. She has to work hard to keep the complete gream from her face right off, because being called 'The Molly' is pretty cool. And it's nice to be 'Molly' before being a 'Prewett', just sometimes. She smirks. "That's me." Then her eyes light up, she pulls her sunnies a little down her nose again so that she can see Reed properly over the tops of the frames, and that looming gream breaks free. "OhmyGod, you're Reed!? The Reed?" she returns. She giggles. "Kras told me about you, too. It's, like, awesome to meet you!"

Reed also enjoys being referred to as 'The Reed' , then he blushed his customary shade of pink. He giggled a little hearing that Kras talked about him. "So, how are you today Molly? By the way, and really not to sound weird, but your hair looks really great in the sunlight. Well, I'm sure it looks great all the time, but the sun really makes it look shiny."

"Oh I am, like, totally awesome. How you going?" Molly giggles, because Reed is frickin adorable. She tosses her hair over her shoulder in the customary Prewett fashion, smirking as she does so. "Thanks," she chirps. "And don't worry, I don't think that's weird to say because you're right - my hair is pretty awesome all the time. I wish I could get it to curl like yours does naturally, though. Well, I guess it might totally be styled but it looks natural so if you do style it, it's done, like, perfectly," she prattles.

Reed smiles, he rather likes Molly's confidence. "No, it's natural. I try using gel sometimes, but it never works. But my mom doesn't really like the curls, so I have to use like, a whole bottle when I'm around her. But Kras seems to really like my hair, and I kind of like it too. It's unique sorta, like me! Well, I'm not all that unique. I just fall a lot and blush way too much." He giggles, which was another thing he did way too much.
