Hermione is busy dishing up dinner and really isn't in a position to stop her...

Padfoot bares his teeth at Kiora, though of course he would never bite her. Tucking his tail between his legs, he sits down and noms at his food happily, then bounds over to Remus to lick his hand, 'cause Eowyn forgot to have Padfoot say hi to him. Well, since Hermione is the one providing the food, is it really surprising?

[Kiora Lupin]

Kiora decides to go for it but then stops when doggie shows his teeth...his scary scary teeth. Her eyes get wide, tearing up, and she whimpers, curling up against Hermione's side.

Remus shakes his head and tugs gently on Padfoot's ear. "You better go apologize to Kiora for that. You scared her, you silly thing."

Padfoot grumbles and hangs his head down as he walks over to Kiora, nuzzling her gently and laying down on the ground to be petted... lying down in the middle of the kitchen, right in Hermione's way, that is.

[Mya Lupin]

Hermione cuddles Kiora close until she stops being all teary and afraid of the big bad puppy long enough to pat him. "Gently, baby," she cautions, and Kiora, eyes still wide, nods and plays nice.

Five minutes later, Hermione gets up to go get drinks, leaving Kiora to throw her own rice around the place because clearly that's more fun than eating it, and promptly trips over the dog in the middle of the floor.

Remus facepalms and would say something but Kiora chooses that moment to throw a fistful of rice in his face.

Kiora is quite proud of herself.

The dog barks in apology, though he rolls over barking in laughter, as well. Padfoot wonders if Sirius is welcome, because barking can only communicate so much, and he'd like to mock his BFF and his beautiful wife.

Hermione sighs and scowls at the laugh-barking puppy. "Why can't you just be a person for a change? Just occasionally," she mutters, patting him on the head in apology as well because she probably kicked him pretty hard when she fell over him...

Padfoot happily obliges, standing in front of Kiora, because she's sure to be amazed no matter how many times he transforms in front of of her. He promptly morphs into person-form, grinning down at little Kiora. "Hey there, little girl! Miss your Uncle Sirius?"

[Kiora Lupin]

"Doggie?" Kiora gapes then lets out a high pitched squeal that has Remus covering his ears and wincing, "UNCLE RIRIUS!" she flailed her hands up at him begging to be picked up.

Sirius laughs and beams, happy to see a little face so excited to see him. "Hello, beautiful," he says, grinning happily at her as he scoops her up into his arms, spinning her around fast as hugging her close.

Hermione is glad that she doesn't have to cover her ears. because her hands are full of drinks which she sets down in between them all. Butterbeer all around. Except for Kiora of course, who gets her juice in a sippy cup. Uh huh. Hermione thinks Uncle Ririus should probably babysit Kiora to make amends for tripping Hermione over. *blinks innocently*

Eowyn is going to have to disappear for a bit, so y'all can just say Sirius poofed to go talk to his girlfriend on the phone or something if I'm not about. Dinner soon, and tucking Freya into bed, yup. Sirius laughs and grabs a butterbeer, draining half of his in one gulp and kissing Kiora on the cheek. "Nope, little one, none for you, at least when your Mummy's around," he said, winking at Kiora and laughing at the look on Mione's face.

Kiora giggles and reaches for her sippy cup cause she wants nummy juice.

Remus pulls out chocolate, because how can this be a good dinner if there's no chocolate? Kiora's eyes go wide and she tugs on Sirius' shirt. "Wocolate!!!"

[Mya Lupin]

Hermione just laughs and shakes her head, because Kiora has barely touched her dinner except to throw her rice around. Good thing she's in such a relaxed mood, otherwise Mama Bear would be out in full force right now... And then since Eowyn had to go, Sirius disappears into the other room to make a phone call, leaving Kiora sitting in between Hermione and Remus because she likes to be the centre of attention. She's still reaching for that chocolate too.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus doesn't think anything of the fact that Kiora's barely touched her dinner - it's CHOCOLATE, after all. "Here you go, baby girl." he smiles as Kiora claps her hands happily and noms on the chocolate. "...and some for mummy as well!" he grins, popping a piece into Hermione's mouth. Good thing it's not chocolate dipping sauce...that might be tad awkward for Sirius when he comes back and sees the funny looks on Hermione and Remus' faces as they try not to laugh or something. Then again that could be lots of fun. *blinks*

But Hermione loves chocolate dipping sauce. *blinks* She smiles as Remus pops a piece in her mouth and leans forward to kiss him. Mmm, chocolatey kiss. She smiles and snuggles up close to Remus, because Kiora will happily distract herself with chocolate for ages.

Kiora is indeed entertaining herself with the nummy chocolate. She managed to snag the whole bar of it from Remus and has crawled over to where she dropped Neville the duck earlier. Now she's attempting to feed some of it to the stuffed animal. "Quack, quack, quack! Quackity! Yummy wummy wocolate! Eville eat wocolate!" she hums to herself.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus places an arm around Hermione's waist, holding her close as he watches Kiora attempt to feed her stuffed animal chocolate. "Does Neville like that chocolate, Kiora?" Looked more like it was just smearing all over the stuffed animal's face.

"YES!" She giggled, hugging Neville the duck tightly. Then she proceeded to nom on more chocolate.

Sirius bursts back into the room, looking rather pleased with himself, for what, I don't really know, but we just know he was on the phone with a beautiful French girl named Sophie, so obviously he's going to be grinning. Take that, Remus. Sophie. "CHOCOLATE, AND NONE FOR SIRIUS? THAT'S MADNESS, FOLKS, MADNESS, AND NOT THE COOL KIND LIKE SPARTA!"

[Remus Lupin]

Fuck you, Black. Yeah, what now? WE DON'T BRING UP THE FRENCH GIRL. FOR MERLIN'S SAKE, SIRIUS. FRENCH. FRENCH. *dies* THAT'S ALRIGHT. I HAVE BRIDGET. REMEMBER HER? YEAH. THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT. "Yeah chocolate...well, Kiora took it. So if you think you can get away with taking candy from an adorable little kid, be my guest."

[Kiora Lupin]

Kiora looks up innocently, the half eaten chocolate bar still in her hand.

Hermione laughs. "I think Neville the duck got your share, Sirius. Along with everyone else's. Merlin, that's going to take a cleaning charm or ten to fix. You just love making a mess for Mummy, don't you baby girl?"
