Re: Parkinson Home
"Well... maybe you did. But that just furthers the idea that today is full of things you choose. Honestly, Draco, what boy would turn that down?" She laughed a little, her hand still in his where he had pulled it away to kiss her. She smiled at him softly, still just waiting on him to suggest their next activity. Unless lying here and arguing about it until dinner was ideal to him.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco looked at her for a moment then smirked and rolled so he was pinning her down. Leaning over he lowered his lips to next to her ear. "Pick something for us to do or I'll just lie here until dinner. You won't be able to move me and you'll have to stay put. I'll take a nap or something." He adjusted so he could put his head on the pillow next to hers, "It's comfy here after all."
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy noticed the look in his eyes and squeaked in surprise as he rolled them over. "That's not much of a threat. Lying here until dinner means sleeping and cuddling until dinner and that's not anything that's horrible or unwanted at all." Pansy grinned, turning her head to kiss his cheek where he was somewhat resting his head next to hers. "Another nap time it is, your wish is granted." She laughed, trying to wriggle to get more comfortable beneath him. "Besides now we won't fall asleep outside if we sleep now." She moved her hand to rest on the back of his neck, tracing little shapes there where it had always sort of tickled him but he liked it much more than the tickling of his sides.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco smiled and shifted over her so she could get more comfy, still not getting up. He had said he was going to lie on top of her if she didn't pick something for them to do. He made sure that his weight wasn't crushing her though, deciding that everything would work out better if she woke up later and wasn't suffocated. He rubbed his nose against her neck as she tickled the back of his neck. He pressed soft kisses to her jaw before flopping his head down next to hers and closing his eyes, arms wrapped snugly around her. "Have a nice nap."
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy laughed a little, still tickling the back of his neck even as he rearranged and snuggled into her. "You too." She smiled and closed her eyes, relaxing and falling asleep. She woke up not too long later though, finding it a little difficult to breathe with a sleeping Draco on top of her. Carefully, she held to his neck and shoved her weight against him, rolling them over so that she was resting on top of him instead, his arms still holding onto her. Resting her head on his chest, she went back to sleep.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco felt her shoving him and kept his arms wrapped around her, not really waking up as he was rolled and used as a pillow. He pulled her closer in his sleep and snoozed until the popping in of an elf woke him up. Looking around he noticed that Pansy was now on top of him. He smiled and ran his hand up and down her back, "Kitten, time to wake up. It's dinner."
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy woke as the popping noise of an elf appearing as well as Draco's voice pulled her from her sleep. She lifted her head and looked up at him, smiling back before she sat up and stretched, and then stood by his bed and waited for him to come along. She headed through to the main den area, where Dilly was laying out the plates for them. It was steak for dinner, which Pansy didn't really care for but knew it was one of her father's favorites so they had it often. But as Dilly handed her a plate, she smiled, realizing he'd thought to bring her a chicken salad sandwich instead, crusts removed and everything.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco got up behind her and walked into the den behind her, grinning as he saw the steak. He walked over and took the plate from Dilly with a thank you before sitting down on the leather loveseat. He sat down comfortably and grabbed the silverware, tucking in to the steak and the wonderful fluffy mashed potatoes next to it.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy sat on the floor in front of him, resting her back against his knees and putting her plate in her lap. She munched quite happily on her sandwich, which was a glorious dinner complete with an apple and some hot chips. She finished hers rather quickly because it was so good and small, and then climbed up to sit beside Draco while he ate his. "Good steak?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco reached out and stroked her hair when she sat down before picking back up his knife and cutting more steak. He was happily eating when she moved up to sit next to him. He leaned over in a psudo-hug as he ate more of his potatoes. "It's delicious. Your elves make the best steak."
Re: Parkinson Home
"They should," she laughed. "They sure have to make it often enough, they've definitely perfected it by now, if not because of all the practice, because daddy demands it be perfect." What Leo wants, Leo gets. And he gets it as perfectly as he wants it, too. It's good being king, at least of his household anyway. Leo walked in a few minutes later, Dilly following him with dessert. "Eclairs and s'mores sound good to you two?" He grinned, and Dilly brought all three of them a plate with a large eclair on it. There were all kinds of s'more making things on another tray. "Might let you two just keep those things and make them later. Good rest of the day?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco looked up when Leo walked in and smiled at him. "Eclairs are great thank you." He put his empty place to the side and stood up to accept the plates and passed one to Pansy. "It was a pleasant afternoon. Did you succeed in all your errands?" Draco also took the glass of milk that Dilly offered him and took a sip.
Re: Parkinson Home
"Yes, yes. Thank Merlin those are done. Too many women like Muffy crowding Diagon Alley in the afternoons." Leo chuckled, already finishing up his own eclair. What could he say, the man loved eclairs. Finishing his, he put the fork on the plate and sat it aside, and Dilly came and took it away immediately. "Right well, just wanted to check at be sure you two were okay, being cooped up down here all day as you were. I think I'll head up and read the paper in the lounge for a while, maybe wander the library for a bit before bed. Have everything you need? Dilly can bring you things if you like, of course." He stood up, walking over and kissing Pansy on the top of the head, clapping Draco on the shoulder. "Sweet dreams, Flower. Night, Draco." And with that, as quickly as he came, Leo was gone. Pansy finished up her eclair, she liked them nearly as much as her father did, and put the plate aside, glancing at the s'mores things that her father had left. "Want to take them outside?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco said goodnight to Leo, rather surprised by his arrival and departure but not about to complain, and nodded in answer to Pansy's question about going outside. He finished up his own eclair quickly because he likes them a lot too. I mean really who doesn't like eclairs. He stood up and grabbed the s'mores things and offered her his hand. "Grab a jacket first I think, that way you won't get too cold." They walked back into their little room/s and grabbed jackets before walking over to the door where Draco stopped, "Disillusionment charms or are we doing this the old-fashioned way?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy smiled at him, following him back to their rooms and grabbing one of his sweatshirts instead of going after one of her own. His were bigger and comfier and smelled nice, so why not? She slipped it on over her head and took his hand. "The old way would be fun. We can always go for the alternative if we get partway there and need to." She smirked at him, tugging on his hand and heading up the stairs that would land them in the kitchen. She pushed the door open carefully, peeking out and looking around. No one in sight except for Dilly, and she waited for the little elf to disappear around behind the counter again before she pushed the door the rest of the way open and pulled Draco behind her in a quick but silent dash toward the back door that would lead them out into the back yard and the night air.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco tucked the s'mores things in his jacket pockets and took her hand, creeping along behind he before they made a break for it, running across the kitchen and out the door, headed straight into the bushes near the house that they knew would hide them. Once behind them they froze for a moment, waiting to hear if anyone had noticed before sharing a smile and heading further into the gardens to reach their tower.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy paused in the bushes with him, the two of them breathing heavy from their quick little sprint and the worry of getting caught. Once she was sure that no one had seen, or at least didn't care if they had seen them, she tugged on his hand with a smile and headed back through the gardens along the familiar path to the hidden tower. It was dark by now, but it didn't matter. She had gone on the little winding trail too many times to take a wrong turn. The only tricky part came where they would have to climb over a little wall and squeeze through two hedges that grew tightly together. The wall posed no problem, Pansy scaling it with ease and Draco coming along behind her, but when she got to the hedges, the tower just on the other side of them, she realized they had grown together in all the time between her last visit to the tower and now. Pondering, she wondered if she ought to use her wand to cut them a hole to go through, or if the light from that might alert her mother to someone's presence in the garden. Instead she went about it the muggle way, trying to pull the branches apart enough to form some kind of hole, but having a slightly difficult time with it.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco reached past her and shoved the branches aside, breaking a few of them in the process. He snapped off a few more and then held the rest to the side and nudged her through. He followed her through and pushed the door open so they could both squeeze into the mossy little space. Shutting the door he cast a spell on the moss to soften it and stop it from getting them all damp, "C'mere." He pulled her down next to him and set up a circle of rocks and put down some sticks, shooting a spark at it. "Want some now or later?"
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy stepped aside as Draco took over, breaking off branches and making a hole for them to get through the shrubs. She squeezed through in front of him, and the followed him inside the old tower. She wasn't sure why they called it a tower anymore. There wasn't anything inside it but mossy ground, and the roof had collapsed a long time ago. It was mostly just a big stone cylinder, but it was their favorite place out in the Parkinson gardens. She sat beside him as he got them a little fire pit crackling, curling her legs underneath her. "Now is fine." She grinned at him, picking up a marshmallow and levitating it with her wand, holding it near the flames so it would get warm and toasty.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco grinned back and pulled out the graham crackers and chocolate, putting a pair of them on her knee and pulling out his own marshmallow, floating it next to hers. He lowered it slightly until the flames were licking it and it quickly turned gold. He pulled it out and put it on his chocolate and crackers, pushing them together and taking a bite, letting out a happy groan. "Your father has excellent ideas."
Re: Parkinson Home
"I think he knows us better than we give him credit for." Pansy was cautious, keeping her marshallow above the flames so that it wouldn't get burnt at all, because Pansy doesn't like any of it to be any color other than white. She mostly just wants it warm and melty but not burnt in the least, which is nearly impossible to do. Personally catching it on fire and blowing it out is the way to go, but whatever. Do it the hard way, Pans. She finally deemed her marshmallow ready, floating it back toward her as she held up a graham cracker to catch it on, squashing chocolate and the other cracker on top of it. She took a bite, marshmallow stretching out over her lip, and her tongue poked out to sweep the stick stuff into her mouth.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco knew she was just cleaning up the extra marshmallow but he couldn't stop looking at her tongue swiping over her lip. He leaned back over to her brushed a thumb over her top lip, taking off the marshmallow that she hadn't gotten. He smirked at her and licked away the marshmallow off his finger, finishing up his own s'more while he was at it. He pulled out another cracker and munched on it, debating the merits of making another or just eating the chocolate.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy smirked at him as he wiped off the extra marshmallow for her, and she finished her s'more. She picked up another marshmallow, floating it over the fire. Glancing up, she noticed the trail of smoke floating out of the top of the tower. She sent her marshmallow away from the fire, leaving it floating in the cool air while she re-directed her wand toward the smoke in the air. She sent a small wind to circle the top of the tower, dissipating the smoke so it was less obvious as it left to open roof of the tower. "Mother might notice. Or even Father, since we're supposed to be downstairs making these in his fireplace anyway." She returned her marshmallow to the fire once she was sure the wind around the top of the tower would keep the smoke from creating an obvious trail in the sky.
Re: Parkinson Home
Draco looked up as she shot up the spell and nodded, "Probably a good idea. Though your father would probably just be impressed we made it out without him noticing." He turned around and looked, scooting back and putting a cushioning charm against the wall so they could lean against it comfortably. He levitated another marshmallow over and waited for it to cook.
Re: Parkinson Home
Pansy laughed. "True. Though he probably noticed anyway. Not much gets past him. He probably knew we were planning on coming out here anyway, hence the s'mores he told us to save for later." She grinned and gave him a significant look, because her daddy really does know almost everything. Almost. She sighed, still levitating her marshmallow above the flames. She flopped over, resting her head on his knee and curling up on her side on the soft moss, turning the marshmallow in little cartwheels over the dancing flames, waiting until she thought it would be sufficiently warm to eat.
