[OMG, RUDENESS. SO UNDESERVING!]

In the past:
Draco got up and left the common room because, in the future, Sev says something mean about his lack of leaving.

In the present:
Draco is now angry at Severus and goes to watch Wizards of Waverly Place.

Severus walks in, still looking upset, but trying to hide it at least a little. He sits down on the couch by the fire, staring into its flames as he debated what he'd do next time he saw Draco.

Adrian walked tiredly into the Common Room. She plopped down in front of the fireplace and hoped the heat would dry her hair. I hope I left my wand in my room. I'm going to shit bricks if I lost it completely and have to get a new one. She heard a noise behind her and turned around to see Severus. Her face flushed.

Severus does not see Adrian, as he is lost in thought.

Adrian sighs in relief. He seemed distracted and didn't notice her. She turned back towards the fire and started fluffing her hair in the heat. Her hand subconsciously touched her bruises and she moaned loudly. Her head popped up as the unexpected noise left her. She kept her face trained on the fire, hoping he hadn't heard her.

Severus was startled by the noise- he had thought the room empty. He turned around to see Adrian, and he felt a lump growing in his throat. He should feel sorry, he should feel like he did something wrong, but he doesn't. He just feels angry, horribly angry as he stares at her, not knowing what, if anything, to say.

[How do we start this..?]

[Got it]

Adrian turned around slowly to see if he noticed and startled at him staring at her. She put on a cocky smile and leaned back on her arms.

"Hey you! Feeling better? How's your cuts?"

The ones on her throat and thighs hadn't healed and she knew his weren't either.

Severus stared at her, not even trying to make sense of the girl- she was about as sane as he was, after all. "Plenty painful, slut. What kind of magic is in that blade? It appears that they won't heal with simple spells," he said scathingly, remembering his frustration earlier.

She smiled genuinely at being called 'slut' and pulled the knife out from her robes. She left it closed and slid it across the floor to his feet.

"It's a family heirloom. My grandfather gave it to me. He said it was dipped in some kind of snake venom. When it mixes with the magic in our blood it makes the wounds immune to magical methods of healing." She turned around to face him and let the fire have a more direct route in drying her hair. She held out her arm and showed off a scar that cut across her bicep. "It will heal eventually, but the scar will always be there. That's why I like using it. It leaves my mark on people."

"Lovely," he said sarcastically, absent-mindfully touching the wound on his chest, the one he kept accidentally reopening. He picked up the blade, examining it closely, staring in awe as he read the runes on the hilt. "This is beautiful," he said, and he sincerely meant it. It was an amazing creation, a weapon of dark magic few could truly understand and appreciate. He lay it flat in the palm of his hand, watching the flames dancing in the reflection of the metal. "I hope you learned your lesson, whore," he said, not moving his eyes from the blade.

[-is thinking this snake is of the same sort that Voldemort bit Arthur with-]

[LMFAO! I was like where do I get that idea? It sounds familiar. Yes! That's the same! Maybe its Nagini's venom on it.]

Adrian noticed his distraction and crept quietly over to sit at his feet.

"Yes, it is. And what lesson would that be, Severus? To never say my true feelings because it never gets me what I want. Because that's the only thing that went wrong; that's the only thing that hurt me." She gently touched his hand as she took the knife back from him. She sat back against his chair and looked up at his face.

"I was hoping for something more along the lines of 'get the fuck out of the way when Severus is pissed off,' actually," he said coldly. If she expected him to feel anything resembling sympathy for her, she was wrong. He felt nothing for a woman so pitiful and squalid as her.

"Well, you were wrong," she said happily. She started chuckling to herself. "We seriously misunderestimated each other didn't we? I figured you would be happy to have an opportunity to take out your anger and aggression on someone, and you thought I wouldn't like being physically hurt. Like normal human beings." She looked away and stared into the flames. She knew this was some severe mental problem, but she didn't care all that much. Not until she was denied it, like Severus had done.

"Who knew you had a conscience," she mentioned sarcastically.

Severus laughed. "I'm insane, not heartless. Though why I even cared for a moment about someone like you, I'll never understand. There are few people as low as you, but you knew that already," he said with contempt. "And misunderstimated isn't a word."

Adrian held out her wrists together. "Are you going to thow me in jail, English Nazi? Because I might actually like it, there." She dropped her hands and touched the cuts on the insides of her thighs. Her skirt was short enough that they could be seen. "Pity you're not heartless, I could have seriously enjoyed that encounter if you hadn't fucked it up and left. Whatever." She pressed hard on the cut and watched as it re-opened and started to bleed again.

"Oh. If you want your cut to heal faster, wrap it up so the skin doesn't keep pulling apart and opening the wound."

"Enjoyed it? How twisted are you, tramp?" His tone was amused, but empty of emotion otherwise. He couldn't help but let his eyes follow her fingers to the inside of her thigh, watching avidly as the blood began to drip again. "It appears you have no desire to heal, then."

[Okie dokie]

She looked up incredulously at Severus. "Please tell me you're joking. I jacked off with your boxers and attacked you with a knife in order to get you to 'rape' me. Did you not hear me when I said, 'Please cut me Severus. I need this as much as you do.'" She mimicked the timid, lusty tone she had used in the classroom. "I know I'm twisted, don't patronize me by thinking otherwise. And no, actually, I couldn't care less if these never healed." She pressed harder and dragged her nail over it. She caught a drop of blood on her finger and sucked it into her mouth.

Sev's eyes didn't move from her finger, and he felt something stir within him as she sucked the blood away. How the hell did he find this trollop attractive? What was it about her, that aroused him so? "You did want it, then?" he asked stupidly, his mind far more focused on the blood trickling down the inside of her thigh then on the conversation at hand.

She looked back up at him, wanting to give him a 'are you stupid' look but found him staring at the blood on her thighs. She smiled to herself and faced forward again.

"Yes," she said honestly, "I liked it very much. Until you left. You leaving me there like that, was the only thing you could have possibly done to hurt me. Killing me wouldn't have even hurt me."

She shifted her skirt higher up on the opposite thigh to reveal the barely healed and much larger cut that she did herself after he left. A light touch of her finger was all it took to open that one. She collected the blood and started making shapes and circles on her thighs.
