Can we just do that first, then? Like now? I don't think that the four of us will ever be on to do an actual rp of the full moon like ever... I could just post Sirius and Remus there?

Amethyst is giggling over Innocent!Remus as well. Innocent!Remus just blinks and looks around wondering why everyone is giggling at him. *pats him* Amethyst is also pretty sure that if that was 1.0 Remus then he probably would have said it. JS. "Rumour?" Remus tilts his head, confuzzled, "OH. Wait. I know what you're talking about." he shivers, "I don't even want to think about that..." EW. Just...ew. Then again...you never know.

If this was 1.0, Remus and Hermione would never have left the bedroom long enough to get to the Three Broomsticks to have this conversation. JS. Jack shrugs. "I don't know - I think that everyone deserves love no matter who they are. Even if they are crabby and scowly and old and..." Jack wrinkles his nose "...wrinkly. Eurgh. Ok, I see your point," he says and shakes his head to clear the images, laughing it off.

Jack grins and decides it's too soon to suggest Remus do something else with his mouth. "We could discuss the merits of comfortable silences versus idle chitchat," Jack suggests cheekily and finishes off his drink.

Remus shrugs, grinning. "I'm fine." He takes one of Jack's hands in both of his, playing with his fingers again as he thinks to himself. Spending time thinking was something Remus was quite good at.

Jack smiles, enjoying the way Remus plays with his fingers with both his hands, recognising the underlying strength in the deceptively delicate-looking digits. "That you are," he smirks, then falls into silence as well, happy just to sit and watch Remus think.

Yeah...Remus is super strong, he just doesn't look it. He reddens at Jack's comment but doesn't reply, still looking down at Jack's hand as he plays with the slightly older man's fingers. Sometimes Remus didn't like silences like this - they felt awkward and he felt like he needed to say something to fill them, but sometimes, when he was with certain people, he didn't feel that way. For some people he was just fine with sitting in companionable silence, enjoying each others company while lost in their own thoughts.

Jack is indeed lost in his own thoughts. He's less occupied with the merits of companionable silence versus idle chitchat and more occupied with thoughts of the young Gryffindor sitting across from him. Jack still hasn't got it all figured out as to why, but he's captivated. For the most part, Jack keeps things casual. He's not opposed to relationships, he just doesn't get too serious unless he feels there's a connection. He bounces around from person to person because they both know they'll have their fun, but they're never going to grow any older together. With Remus... Jack doesn't know if they'll be together for a week or a year, he just knows he wants to be with him for as long as he possibly can. He wants to see that blush all the time, and feel those hands on his whole body, and sit in silence and talk and read poetry and generally just know him as well as he can.

Remus is still lost in thought, looking at Jack's hands as he plays with his fingers. He could tell they were strong hands and Remus randomly thinks they look nice, unlike his own that are somewhat covered with small scars. Twisting Jack's hand slightly, he smiles softly, pressing his lips lightly to the inside of the Ravenclaw's wrist. He didn't really have a reason for doing so, besides the fact that he just suddenly felt like doing it. It was weird how, after only hanging out a few times, Remus was so interested and attracted to the other man. It was even odder considering that he knew that he still had such strong feelings for Sirius yet he was starting to feel that he had feelings for Jack as well. Could you have feelings for two people at the same time? Remus had never had to think so hard about relationships before, or romantic feelings. It was confusing. Would having a relationship with Jack keep his thoughts away from the feelings he had for Sirius - the feelings that he knew would forever be unrequited? That wasn't right though. You couldn't just have a relationship with someone because it kept your mind off of someone else. It wasn't fair to the other person. Would it be justified because he actually might have feelings for Jack? He wasn't sure. This was confusing. It was making his mind hurt and he wasn't even able to keep his thoughts straight anymore. He looked up at Jack and smiled softly, "What are you thinking about?" he'd decided that talking was good again now, because things were getting too confusing up in his head to keep being quiet.

Jack smiles as Remus kisses the inside of his wrist, and chuckles lightly at the question. "Well, corny as it sounds, I was thinking about you," he says simply. "And how much I like you, and spending time with you." He holds eye contact when he makes the admission, wanting Remus to see his sincerity.

And of course Remus blushes at Jack's admission, though he keeps eye contact, glad to see the sincerity in Jack's eyes. It was hard for Remus to trust people, so to see that the other man was sincere made it all the more easier for Remus to believe that he really meant what he was saying...which also meant Remus reddened more. Awweh, how cute. Remus smiled softly, lacing his fingers with Jack's, "I like spending time with you too, Jack...and...I really like you too." he admitted quietly, telling himself to give it up, he had no chance with Sirius and this was his chance to really move past that. If he could really have something with Jack and be happy then there was really no reason for him not to try right?

Jack squeezes Remus' hand supportively and grins at his words. "Well let's say we make this a regular thing, see each other more often. Exclusively, if you like? I'm not a jealous man by nature but when it comes to you I'd rather not share," he says with a little wink.

"Oh! You mean like...oh, okay." he smiles, blushing up a storm. "I'd love that!" Inner!Remus is just going to sit here and flail for a bit. And now he's too happy that he doesn't even know what to say. Poor guy is speechless. *pats him*

Jack grins. "Great. Shall we head back now, though?" he asks, noting that their glasses are empty and so is the pub, with Rosmerta looking rather bored, polishing glasses and staring off into the distance while she waits for her last two customers to leave. Taking advantage of the opportune moment, Jack leans across the table and seals their new relationship with a sweet kiss, pulling back and grinning. Inner!Lily and Inner!Molly are squealing and cheering together - THAT'S HOW EPIC THIS IS, MY GINGERS ARE GETTING ALONG!!!!

Remus is stuck in quaffley mode, but he's too happy to care. He smiles as Jack kisses him sweetly, and wishes they didn't have to go back - sitting here together and talking was too much fun and enjoyable. "Alright, let's head back."

Jack slides out of his seat and gently tugs Remus up with him. He glances around at Rosmerta, but she just gives him a smile full of her relief that she can close up now, and heads into the back room for the broom. Jack takes the chance to kiss Remus again, more forceful than the previous kiss, his tongue sweeping quick and sure through Remus' mouth.

Remus lets Jack pull him up and he can't help wrapping his arms around him when Jack kisses him, holding him close. He gasps lightly when they finally break apart, and he grins, leaving a small kiss on Jack's cheek. "You keep that up and we'll never leave. Rosmerta'll be sweeping us out of here with her broom."
