Um...it does not count if you diss Ginny in thoughts. The only real disses that have any slight impact, must be spoken aloud. She has loads of brainpower, she really does. "Babysitters?" she scoffed. "I'm only one year younger than you are Malfoy. Just because I have friends like Luna and Neville, doesn't mean that they treat me like I'm an infant. Would you rather I said nice things about her in thoughts? Hmmm... Yeah I have nothing nice to say. So might as well diss her in both. "Us Malfoys? Glad to know my cousins are making sure you know your place." He had to stop himself from lunging at her when she called Pansy a pug. Instead he laughed at her, "I suppose all you can do is insult those above you. Those "oafs" as you call them are still better than you and your blood-traitor friends."

Well. Fine. "It was really only one of your cousins. I haven't had the...pleasure of meeting one of them," she said, her tone sarcastic. Why the hell would she want to meet the Scorpius guy anyway? He was probably just like Draco and Lucius. "Oh, better than me? I had no idea that not having your own opinions or backbone makes you above others that do. You know, there's much more to life than being a pureblood. One day, you might just realize that."

Draco raised an eyebrow at her, "Oh really? I would ask you to enlighten me but I doubt you can. You need to open your own eyes and look around, our world, our govenerment is still controlled by those with the purest blood." Draco stood up from his position against the wall and took a step towards her and flicked the tip of her old broom, "Also I believe that you are now very late for Quidditch practice. In fact you've missed it entirely if I'm not incorrect." He smirked at her and stepped past her, "See you around Weasley" and walked into the castle.

Lav was outside frolicking in the snow. She was heading back inside when she saw a cute boy walking, no pacing, on the stone steps. She had been completely depraved of male attention, so she had to talk to him. She walked up to him with a bright smile. "Hey there! Are you okay?"

Jack looks up in slight surprise as a bright voice addresses him. His expression is long, and his eyes sad, but when he sees a very pretty girl before him the old habits kick in of their own accord. He doesn't even think about it as the familiar wolfish glint appears in his eye and the grin takes over his face. "Well, hello. I'm just fine, now," he says with a wink. "Jack Harkness, and you are...?"

Lavender couldn't help but be flattered. "Well, glad to hear that Jack. I'm Lavender, Lavender Brown." She held out her hand for him to shake, giving him a flirtatious smile. "So, what brings you out into the cold?" She wrapped her jacket a little tighter around her.

Jack takes her hand and kisses the back of it. It's such an easy move, but it's always well-received. "Good to meet you, Lavender Brown." He shrugs slightly. "Just pondering the state of the universe and all that. What brings a pretty girl like you out here all alone?"

Lavender instantly blushes scarlet when he kisses her hand. "Well, I just like playing in the snow. It's really pretty, you know?" She giggled a little. "So, did you have any discoveries about the stat of the universe?" Her eyes raked over his body quickly. Even though he had a coat on, she could tell he was well built. Plus, something about him just oozed sex appeal.

Jack smirks, and doesn't take his eyes off her even as she gives him the customary once-over. Hey, there's a reason Molly and Viktor used to call him Mr OhmyGodyesplease before they knew his name. "Very pretty," he says, his eyes very obviously moving over her face and hair before flickering quickly down her body and back up to hold her gaze. It's easier, somehow, talking to girls than to boys right now. Nothing about this pretty girl and her playful frolicking in the snow reminds Jack of Remus, and if he tells himself that blush on her cheeks is only from the cold, then there's nothing to make him feel the loss of Remus so keenly. "I've discovered that if you spend enough time outside pondering the state of the universe, the universe sends pretty girls your way."

Lavender was still blushing as she saw his eyes roam over her. She couldn't help but to play with her hair a little. She giggled at what he said. "Well, then I must say, I like the universe a lot then." Another sweet smile. "So, why have I not seen you around before? I think I would definitely remember seeing you before."

"Same reason I haven't seen you, I think; the universe must've been saving us up for a special occasion," he chuckles, thinking that given his current state of mind, that might just be true. "I'm in Ravenclaw," he offers, knowing she must not be because he would definitely not miss this pretty little thing right under his nose for seven years.

She smiled some more and kept on blushing. She was really regretting not being in Ravenclaw at this moment. It seemed to be a melting pot of totally hot guys. "Well, that would explain it. I'm in Gryffindor. And I'm really hoping you are at least a sixth year, otherwise this could get a little awkward. I usually don't go for younger men."

Jack raises his eyebrows and smirks. A little cocky, there, and a little forward. He likes a woman like that. "It's your lucky day, love, I'm a seventh year," he tells her, not commenting on her house because he doesn't want to think about that particular house right now, and the time he visited it.

Jack grins broadly. "I like a girl with a bit of honesty," he tells her. "And don't worry, I've heard that before; I've had the nickname Mr OhmyGodyesplease in the past. And in case you're wondering, the answer is 'you're welcome'," he tells her with a wink. Hey, she may have a boyfriend and that may be a disappointment to Jack, but nobody ever said there was anything wrong with a little light flirting, and she might be in an open relationship if she's talking like that; it's not his business to judge.

Her breath caught in her throat when she saw how close they were. "You know, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you were flirting with me." She gave a playful smile and giggled. She then leaned even closer and whispered, "Guess I'll have to forget about my boyfriend for a while."

"What if I was flirting with you?" Jack challenges, his voice soft and his eyes fixed on her plump, delectable looking lips. He forces his eyes up towards hers, though, gaze holding hers intently. "Love, what's between you and your boyfriend is between the two of you. I'm right here right now; you either want me, or you don't. Your call," he breathes, also leaning forwards because not only does he anticipate a favourable response, he somewhat aches for the distraction.
