"I'm totally going with mutant," Molly says, because she thinks that is the best descriptor for Gollum. "Muggles are, like, pretty cool. Movies are awesome. I love going to the movies. Or even watching them at home because we have a huge tv and it's heaps of fun to just curl up on the couch with popcorn and junk," she says, greaming.

"I love going to the movies too. We should go see a movie together sometime, if you'd like to do that," Arthur asks nervously. He likes spending time with Molly and thinks that she would be fun to go to the movies with. Plus she's really pretty. "We can see a comedic romance or an flick for chicks or a movie with action." Arthur thinks he's getting some of the genres mixed up, but he can't honestly remember their actual names.

"Oh that sounds, like, super fun. We should totally do that sometime," Molly says offhandedly, not really thinking of it in terms of a date as she fiddles with her hair and thinks about how it would be fun to go to a movie with someone besides her family sometime. She never goes with the muggle boys from her neighbourhood, because Gideon and Fabian only follow them anyway, but the boys wouldn't think twice if she just said she was going with a friend from Hogwarts. Then she giggles at his slight mixing up of the genres, but doesn't correct him because she likes the way he puts things together in his head like that. "Um, yeah. Or a horror movie! I, like, love those!"

"That would be a lot of fun," Arthur says. He isn't thinking of movies as a date because that would only make him nervous; he considers a fun outing between friends that could be a precursor to a precursor to a pre-date. Because dates are scary, but fun outings aren't, especially when isolated from dating by three "pre's." Fun outings are fun. "I feel stupid admitting this, considering I am a wizard and all, but horror movies do scare me a little bit. It's just the shockiness of them. And even though half of the stuff in them isn't even possible with magic, it still frightens me just a little bit."

Fun outings are indeed fun. "Oh I think horror movies are, like, hilarious," Molly says brightly. "With all the fake blood and the bad characters and totally shoddy effects that are super unbelievable. Tell you what, if we ever go to a scary movie together, you can close your eyes and I'll tell you when the scary bits are over," she promises, her eyes sparkling with mirth and a gigantic grin on her face.

Arthur isn't sure whether or not to trust Molly about the scary movie parts, but because he is an foolish man he agrees to it. "I guess that would be a good arrangement," Arthur says. "Maybe we can also see a cartoon movie. I love Toy Story and all the other funny ones, but my favorite has to be Beauty and the Beast."

Oh Arthur, you loveable fool. >.> Molly smiles. "I, like, love cartoons!" she agrees enthusiastically. "Beauty and the Beast is totally awesome! I love it! He's all, like, 'RAWR' and she's all 'don't you take that tone with me', and then he's all 'wow that's hot'," she summarises. She realises then that she's been standing around barefoot all this time; she's been so busy having fun and getting caught up in her conversation that she hasn't noticed how cold her feet are until she happens to glance down and see how white they've gone. "OhmyGod we must've been out her for, like, forever!" She goes and puts her shoes on and scoops up her bag. "I should totally go. Um, are you heading back to the common room yet?" she asks, thinking that if he is, they may as well walk together.

Arthur isn't sure where he was headed originally, but walking to the common room with Molly seems like a good option. After all, he needed to find a non-orange shirt. "Yeah, I was heading to my dorm. We can definitely walk together because we're going to the same place. Though there are a lot of way to get there, with secret passages and moving staircases and things." Arthur grabs the footieball and magazine with one arm. "Do you need help carrying anything?" he asks because the men in comedic romances always offer to carry a lady's bag.

"Nah, I got it, thanks," Molly says. She's more the sort who needs help with getting something off the top shelf, really, and her bag is fairly light. "Yeah, there's, like, so many ways to get around this place it's mad. Sometimes I wonder if there's, like, a corridor that's just a whole society of poor first year students who got lost on their way to class and never ever found their way back," she chatters as they head up the stone stairs to the heavy front doors of the castle.

"I know. My first week here I got lost that I ended up in the dungeon when I was on my way to Charms. Almost got beat up by several Slytherin fourth years until Billy came running down the corridor, wand in hand. He managed to scare them away before they did anything. I was ten minutes late to Charms, but at least I wasn't the last person there. Someone else got there two minutes before the class was about to end. After that, Billy decided to make me a mini map of Hogwarts. It doesn't have much on it, but at least I knew which floors everything was on." Arthur still has the map in his room, where he will occasionally refer to it for directions because it did have all the cool, forbidden things labelled with bright yellow dots.

Molly smiles, glad for Billy. "Billy sounds pretty neat." She glances around to make sure nobody else is about -Gideon sometimes gets a bit funny about things that might undermine his tough guy image- and then lowers her voice when she next speaks. "Gideon walked me to, like, all my classes for the first three weeks just because he didn't want me to get lost or to run into any not-so-friendly Slytherins. Then he showed me where the kitchens and stuff are, too, but I think that was, like, totally because he was just missing my cooking," she smirks.

Arthur laughes. "Yeah. I ended up doing the same thing for Ron; well, I didn't guide him around the castle because he would have been embarassed by that. But I did make him his own map, that had both the classrooms and fun place labelled on it. Granted, Ron would have probably been able to hold his own against those Slytherins; he's always been tougher than me." As they reach the door, Arthur moves a little quicker and opens the doors for Molly because it was another thing men did for ladies in comedic romances.

Molly gives Arthur a quick smile of gratitude as he holds the door open for her and passes through. She finds herself taking note of all the sweet little things he does, realising that some girl is going to be very lucky to have him someday. >.> "Well I guess that's, like, a boy thing or something - they don't want to look like they need help or whatever. I know how that goes. I totally didn't care, you know? It was fun hanging out with Gid for the first few weeks - I got to meet a bunch of people and I never got lost so it was neat. But after that it was nice to, like, go make my own friends and stuff."

*Arthur is squealing in my head - Molly is going to be that girl!!*

Arthur blushes at Molly's smile - he should really use more tricks from those comedic romances. Though he did learn the opening the door for a lady thing from his mum. "True," Arthur says. "While we're close, we don't want to look like we always depend on each other. It's a man thing, I think. Did you help Alice around when she first got here?"

*squeals* Molly doesn't know it yet, but when she does she is going to squeal so loud I'm going to be deaf.

Molly wonders what Arthur is blushing about. But then, he seems to blush a lot and it's kind of cute and endearing, so whatever. "It must, like, totally be a guy thing. I dunno - I helped Ali out a little bit when she got here. But Alice is, like, totally her own person and she'd kinda rather figure things out for herself than let us help her all the time. Maybe it comes from being the baby or whatever because sometimes it gets kind of intense, having Giddy and Fay-bee looking over your shoulder all the time," she muses, conveniently leaving herself out of that little moment because while she knows exactly what it's like to have two guard dogs for big brothers, she doesn't like to consider the possibility that she can be just a bit the same when it comes to Alice.

When Molly figures this out, Arthur will have already passed out from lack of oxygen due to hyperventilation.

Arthur nods. "Yeah. Ron's easily the toughest out of all of us; Billy's just Billy and I'm just me. Actually, our toughness seems to increase as you go down in age. Because I'm probably tougher than Billy. Does it work that way in your family? Maybe it's just a Weasley thing, because Gideon and Fabian seem like fairly intimidating people." Granted, that may be because Arthur really likes their little sister, and Arthur knows from experience that big brothers can be extremely protective.

Molly had better start practising 'Enervate!' then. XD

"Nah," Molly says, waving a dismissive hand, "It's not really like that with us because we're all, like, way tough. I guess it's just more obvious with my brothers because they're so much bigger, you know? They're pretty intimidating, yeah, especially when it comes to me and Ali and other boys. That's one of the things that was nice when I was with Kingsley - for the first time I was dating someone that Gideon couldn't, like, stand over and stuff, you know?" She looks away, but the flash of loneliness at the thought of her ex is now only momentary before she's back to her regular bright self, turning her head to grin at Arthur as they continue on their journey towards the common room.

The idea of Molly enervating him makes Arthur really happy. Because that would mean that Molly likes him, and he wants Molly to like him.

Arthur cringes at the mention of Kingsley; at least he was an ex now, Arthur thinks. But Kingsley was almost the complete opposite of Arthur Weasley, which scared him; maybe a skinny, wimpy, Muggle-loving boy like Arthur wasn't her type. "I guess that would be nice," Arthur says, his voice distant. "So...what is your favorite movie?" Arthur asks because it is the first thing that pops into his head that sounds like a good question.

Maybe Molly just doesn't know what her type is yet... Molly shifts a little, feeling kind of funny with the way Arthur's voice turns distant. Molly isn't always the most observant of people when it comes to emotions and moods, but ten seconds ago they were talking about their families -which is a somewhat intimate subject for Molly given the high regard she has for her siblings- and now he's asking her about movies. "You know, I don't know," she says, her nose wrinkling in thought. "I think it, like, changes with my mood or something. Is that weird? Whatever, I don't care. If people think that's weird I don't give a thestral's butt what they think."

"I don't think it's strange," Arthur says quickly. "I like Beauty and the Beast best when I want something very romantic with a happy ending. But when I want to see new things, I watch Star Wars. And if I want to sing along, I watch Mamma Mia because Ba-ab's music is very catchy and fun for sing alongs." Arthur blushes at the mention of sing alongs. "Granted, I'm not a very good singer," Arthur adds quickly {he isn't, to be completely honest}, "but it's fun to sing sometimes." Arthur hopes Molly doesn't think he's strange.

Arthur would hope that Molly's type is dorky little red-haired boys.

"ABBA," Molly corrects absently, smiling to herself at the thought of Arthur singing along to Mamma Mia even if he isn't the world's greatest singer. When she has the house to herself in the summer, she quite likes to belt out a few tunes too. Molly has been poisoned by Mya though, so she's more inclined to be rocking out to Meatloaf than ABBA these days. "I'm sure you're, like, a great singer," she says, because that's what people say. "I, like, really like to sing, too. I'm alright." A Prewett never admits to a shortcoming, after all. [Actually, she is an alright singer. She's never going to be a star, but she can carry a tune better than Mya can. Well, a cat in a bag can carry a tune better than Mya can...]

"Please, I'm terrible singer," Arthur says with a laugh. "I'm sure you're not too bad. And I can't believe I mixed up their name again - I always do things like that, you know. I'm terrible with names." Yes, Arthur, everyone's has noticed that already. "Who's your favorite Wizarding singer? Personally, I like the Weird Sister, even though they can be quite strange."{Arthur is a level of singing slightly below Teresa's, if that is even possible. Justin's the singer in Teresa's head; he easily is a tenor in an acapella group.}

Molly giggles, and lets the singing thing go for now. She'll make up her mind when she actually hears Arthur sing. Of course, by then, she might be at the stage where she thinks everything is wonderful coming from him anyway. <3 "It's ok - I, like, kinda like how you do that with names. I don't know why, it's just funny. Um... I dunno, I guess I would say Celestina Warbeck? The Weird Sisters are pretty good, though. Have you ever been to any of their shows? "Interesting. Celestina Warbeck isn't bad," Arthur says. Honestly, he and Ron always mock Billy for his love of Celestina, but he was too infauted with Molly to tell her this. "And Weird Sister concerts are completely crazy. Last summer, Billy took me to see it - he wanted to take Ron, but he was too young at the time. It was completely insane. The entire area smelled like a mix of alcohol and Muggle drugs, and everyone in the audience was insane; they did mosh pitting and everything. Billy had a lot of fun; it was ok, but not really my type of thing." Actually, Arthur spent most of it talking in a corner with this old man named Sam, but that was because Billy didn't want him in the middle of the crowd.
