Peter raises his eyebrow. "Actually i'm rather intrigued and would like to hear the details." He smiles sweetly up at Rad.

Peter stares at Rad for a moment, a mixture of shock, awe and lust in his eyes, then he grins mischievously. "Well then, you most certainly have my attention, do lead the way."

Remus is sitting on the steps, lost in thought. Would things be better off if he told Sirius about his feelings? Or would it just make things more awkward, like when Al told his friend about his feelings for him? Remus didn't like the thought of making things more awkward, especially considering he and Sirius shared a dorm. So for now he wasn't going to risk telling Sirius about his feelings. The next question was: when would he get around to telling James and Peter about how he was gay? Somehow he'd have to...he was just worried about their reactions. Why did things have to be so difficult? Ah well. He continued to sit there and think, glad he'd chosen to wear a sweater - it was chilly out. *cue Sirius*

Sirius had been searching the castle for Remus for hours, and given up the inside search and come to take a look around for him outside. Sitting on the steps ahead, there he was, and Sirius sighed, walking over slowly and silently sitting down beside his friend, looking at him with big, sad eyes. "Remus, where've you been?" he asked softly, lightly placing a hand on his friend's shoulder.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus couldn't decide whether to pull away from Sirius' hand or lean against his friend, seeking the comfort he always got from being close to him. In the end he just sat there, looking up at his friend. "Well...it wasn't the library." he joked lightly, hoping it would help lighten the sad look in Sirius' eyes. It saddened him to see that look on his friend's face. "I was outside a few times, then the kitchen earlier talking to a friend, and now I'm back outside." And I missed you the whole time...

"Yeah, I know, that's the first place I checked," he said with a slight smile, as he wrapped Remus in a brief, one-armed hug. "Well, it doesn't matter, now that I've found you. I've missed you these past few days, you know. I hate this," he whispered, with big sad puppy dog eyes.

[Remus Lupin]

Remus looked away when Sirius smiled slightly. It was ridiculous how just a small smile from his best friend could have his stomach flip-flopping now. "I've missed you too." he replied softly, "I hate when we fight..." They didn't fight often, but it always seemed that, on the rare occasions that they did, the fights were quite bad.

"It's awful. We should just never be allowed to fight, ever," he decided, ruffling Remus' hair affectionately. "Remus, look, I'm-- I... I'm sorry, okay? For what I said and how I acted. I'm so sorry, Moony. Please talk to me about all of this," he pleaded quietly.

[Remus Lupin]

"I'm sorry too...for lying to you all that time." he told Sirius quietly, "It was stupid of me. You know I trust you, I really do." he wanted to lean against Sirius, but did so slightly nervously. Just friends, he told himself sternly, don't even think about the fact that you have feelings for him. Just being friends is the best you can hope for and that's good enough. At least you have that. "And...I'll tell James and Peter. I will."

"You will?" he asked in surprise, not having expected it at all. "That's... that's good, Remus, if that's what you want to do. You don't have to, Remus, not if that isn't what you want, I promise. I don't want you to this because I asked you to, okay? I mean it when I say I'm sorry for getting so angry, I didn't have a right, it's your choice, Remus, if you wanna tell anyone. I won't betray your trust, okay? I'm your best friend, and I love you, and I'll stand by you, no matter what you want to do, I swear," he said, smiling as Remus leaned on him, the same way he would before all the fighting.

[Remus Lupin]

"I'll tell them." Remus repeats, more to convince himself that it'll be a good idea than anything. Honestly, he didn't think either James or Peter would get as angry as Sirius had if he waited to tell them, but he didn't want to make them think that he didn't trust them either. His relationship with Sirius may be stronger than his relationship with either James or Peter, but they were still some of his best friends and he owed them his trust, especially considering what they did for him every month.

"Alright then," he said, sitting in silence with Remus for a time, before forcing himself to speak again. "I... I shouldn't have acted like that. Please... please don't hold it against me, I was shocked, and angry, and hurt-- but please don't use that as a reason not to talk to me in the future. I realize now that I should be grateful, that you did, that you did decide to tell me, even if it was after a while. Thank you, Remus. For coming to me. Hell, for coming to me first, even over James and Peter. It means a lot to me," he said slowly, unsure about his own words, even as he spoke them. "You mean a lot to me. And I'm afraid that because I acted like this, you'll start keeping things from me, because of what I said. Please don't. I won't act like that again, I swear."

[Remus Lupin]

"I'm not going to hold it against you, Sirius." Remus told him softly. "You mean a lot to me too...I'm just glad that we can get past this." He hopes they can, it seemed that they could anyway. "Just...if there happens to be something else that I may not be ready to tell you yet, could you let me take my time? I understand that you won't act like that again...but sometimes I really don't know how to say something and I need to figure it out first before I say anything so it doesn't come out weirdly." Plus he had to work up the courage to do so as well.

Sirius looked at Remus quizzically, but nodded, though he had a rather confounded look in his eyes. "Something else, Remus? I thought you'd told me everything, honestly. Guess I'm losing my touch with you," he joked half-heartedly, his eyes full of concern. "Whatever it is, though, I'll understand, or try to, and I won't act like I did. I won't put you through that again, ever. You can tell me anything, Remus, it won't change anything, not our friendship, at least. And our friendship is one of the most important things in my world, if not the most important thing."

[Remus Lupin]

"It's very important to me too." He replied, trying not to let it sound in his voice that this was one of the reasons he wasn't exactly ready to tell Sirius the other thing he was still hiding from him. In his head 'just friends' was repeating over and over and it was killing him, but it was something he had to keep thinking.

[Guest]

"I know. And nothing, I mean nothing, will ever change how much I care about you, okay? Look... I talked to Molly, after everything happened-- she told me that she knew, and she would listen to me. And after talking to her I realized that part of why I acted the way I did, when you told me, is because I care about you so much. I'm just really protective of you, I guess, as silly as that sounds. But I think what upset me the most about it all, about you not telling me, is that I could see it was bothering you every day, but there was nothing I could do about it. My worst fear is you getting hurt, Remus, and if I don't know what's going on, I can't keep you safe. That's why I got so angry. I felt like you should know that," he said, staring down at the ground, unsure how Remus would react to that-- it was kind of strange, really.

[Remus Lupin]

"It doesn't sound silly..." The part of him that still trying to force his feelings into his thoughts was doing a happy dance because he was happy to hear that Sirius cared about him so much. The part of him that was trying to squash those feelings to the back of his mind was trying to close his ears off. It was odd, feeling torn like this. "and I'm sorry for worrying you so much." he felt extremely guilty.

"Don't be, Moony, Merlin knows you spend your whole life worrying, but rarely about yourself, and I get scared that you forget to take care of yourself, sometimes. Like now. When was the last time you ate chocolate? I brought one of the bars I got you at Honeydukes with Polly," he said, pulling it out and unwrapping it, and breaking off a piece. "Open up, Remus," he said with a slight smile, popping it into his friend's mouth with an affectionate grin.

[Remus Lupin]

"Chocolate?" Remus has to think about that one. "Well...when I was talking to Viktor the other day we were eating some...but that was a bit ago." he said quietly. It was before he talked to Sirius in the owlery. He smiled a bit when Sirius pulled the chocolate out. His friend was always so thoughtful. "Thanks." he replied, after nomming on the chocolate and swallowing it.

"Talking... talking to Viktor," he echoed, his stomach flipping over, and the taste of bile infiltrating his mouth. "Remus, are you and him... are you and him still dating? You never really said..." he mumbled, not sure if he wanted to know the answer, but feeling like he needed to, regardless. "And... how did that... do you mind telling me, Remus?"
