Ginny seriously hopes that Hermione will relax over the winter hols, yet she doubts that the smart witch will. After all, this was Hermione. She would probably end up doing work in advance or rereading some of her favourite books. "Well, I do hope that she enjoys the holidays and spends some time doing things for herself. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if she was taking another class," she said with a small smile. "But enough about Hermione, tell me more about what you've been up to!" She was slightly thrown off when some dude just came out of no where and smacked their arses and walked away. Well really. The godfather of her future husband just smacked her arse. Real nice.

Luna blinks and decides to pretend that didn't just happen because she's never been smacked in the arse before. Probably because she only hangs out with Dean and Rolf for her male friends, and they act like gentlemen around her. "Um. I haven't been up to too much. Well..." Ginny was always rather nice to Luna compared to some of the other people in this school, so Luna has no problem in sharing her little secret with her. "I've been doing some research on Sweden recently. I was thinking about going back sometime in the future to look for the Crumpled Horn Snorkack."

Ginny sensed Luna's slight hesitation and looked at her friend curiously, wondering what she wanted to share. "Luna! That's excellent!" she said with a wide grin. "If anyone is going to prove their existence, it will definitely be you," she nodded. "Obviously...I'm not much help...but if you ever need any sort of help, I'm here for you. Any time in particular you think you'll be going back? Like, are you going to wait for one of the holidays or until school lets out?"

Luna hasn't given that much though yet, really. She greams at Ginny's reaction, glad to see that at least her friend's support her plans to find the Crumpled Horn Snorkack. "Well, I don't know yet. Last time we didn't find anything, so I want to make sure next time I'm more prepared. Mostly I'm just looking at maps and books about the terrain of Sweden, seeing as there aren't any books on Snorkacks yet. It's quite hard to research a creature that most people don't believe exists."

"Yes, I imagine it is," she replied with a small smile. She couldn't imagine going to search for something that people believed didn't exist, but if anyone could do it, it would be Luna. "Are you going to go by yourself to Sweden?" she asked curiously. She sincerely hoped that that wouldn't be the case, for she didn't think it was safe to travel to a foreign country by yourself without any means of communicating.

"Well, I'd rather find some people to go with but I'm not sure who yet," she said with a shrug, thinking about Dean. For a second she thought about Rolf, but although they seemed to have a lot in common, she hardly knew him. "I'm sure I can find someone before I go though. If not, then I guess I'll just wait for summer and go again with my dad."

"Well, as long as they have interest in looking for Snorkacks. I mean, it's not as if it's going to be this amazing trip where you'll be staying in five star hotels. As long as they know what you'll be doing and are fine with staying in tents in freezing weather, I'm sure you'll find people that are interested," she said.

Well then, Luna will keep that in mind and not invite Ron, in that case. It's not like they'll be finding a Snorkack every other day. "I know a few people that would probably be interested, but I haven't asked them yet. I want to make sure I'm a bit more informed on Sweden and everything before talking to them about it. I don't want to get ahead of myself just yet."

"Makes sense," she replied with a smile. Yeah, inviting Ron would be a bad idea. He is rather impatient and probably would only last one day in Sweden. "It's all about the planning really. You also have plenty of time to work everything out. How exactly are you getting to Sweden from here?"

Luna blinks her big silver eyes because she has no idea. Oops. She's too young to apparate...And all the other methods would take a lot of ministry work, like portkeys and using the floo network. Maybe Thestrals. I think that's what happened in 1.0. "I haven't figured that out yet, but there are plenty of options. Guess it's a good thing I've started all of this planning so early."

Well. inner!Luna shouldn't worry that much about the travel. After all, Rolf is seventeen and has his apparating license. There we go! Problem Solved. Of course, Luna and Rolf still have to establish a stable friendship before that idea can even be brought up. "Oh, I'm sure you'll think of something in time. I really wouldn't worry to much. After all, you do have lots of options. Just something to think about. I should probably head back to the castle before Dom forgets about posting again because Dom is just a fail and her head is everywhere this week. It was great seeing you though Luna. We'll have to talk again sometime soon," she said with a kind smile.

"Thanks, I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. It was nice talking to you too, Ginny," she said with a smile, because talking to Ginny was sort of like having a friend. Yep. "Have fun with your Quidditch," she said before skipping off. Ginny is on the team, right? Well, biremes. Even if she's not, she must play a lot. And Canon!Luna would probably say something like that before skipping, rather than goodbye. IDK. I'm not very good with being canon, so I'm just gonna end this post now.

WELL...Dean can apparate himself. Rolf will apparate Luna. Mhmm.

"See you later Luna," Ginny replied with a grin. Um. Ginny plays, I dunno how the team thing works. Biremes. She has stated that she wants to possibly play professionally when getting out of school. So yeah. AND GINNY IS A FRIEND. And you are totally great with canon Luna. I will now stop starting sentences with "and" and have Ginny leave.
