I. Feel. Honored. Al chuckled. "Well then, guess it looks like I'll be attending extra practices from now on. Can't risk losing the Quidditch cup during my last year at Hogwarts now, can I?"

"Well, you should be attending those practices because you don't want to be losing in your last year. I don't think that would make you too happy, would it?" She teasingly asked even though she knew that Ravenclaw were totally going to beat Slytherin.

"No, no it wouldn't. Then again, I doubt Flint will let me skip anymore practices. Pretty sure he's on to me and my faking sick act," he said with a laugh.

"Faking sick? Do you really not like going to practice that much?" She giggled. "How many times have you gotten away with it?" She asked wondering how long one can fake being sick for.

"Uhh," Al thought for a moment, running his fingers through his curls as he tallied up the number of times he got out of practice. "This year? Only about three times. It's not that I hate Quidditch, it's just...Our captain is so intense that he takes the fun out of it. That, and I don't exactly get along with the players on the team. They're alright, but a lot of what they say can get annoying."

"Three times? Thats pretty good for faking sick. And I can sort of see why you don't want to go if it's not fun and your team mates get annoying sometimes." She said, thinking that she probably wouldn't go if she was on a team and it was like that. "But I think you should go at least sometimes."

Al smiled. "I've sort of mastered the art of getting out of practice by now. I go occasionally. Enough times to make sure I don't forget how to play, and to please Marcus," he said with a grin.

Al thought about her question then sat down, leaning against the tree and patting the ground next to him for Sidney to sit down. "Nothing much. I went home for the holidays so that was...interesting. Ever since I got back I've just been playing music and hanging out with some friends."

Sidney went over to the ground and sat down next to him. "Sound like fun. What made your stay at home so interesting?" She curiously asked. "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to, I'm just curious." She added.

"Er- I just...Um, my boyfriend came out to his parents," he told her, which was a total understatement but it worked. "And things got messy, but it all worked out in the end so I guess things are okay now."

"Well, at least things are all a-okay now." She said nodding and thinking back to her holidays. "My holidays weren't really that eventful. It was just a quiet one with my family. Well, except for them debating about whether I could come to Hogwarts or not. I was homeschooled, so it was a big step for them to let me come."

"Well, I'm glad you're here now. This place is totally awesome," he said with a grin. "What year are you anyway?" he asked curiously, hoping that she wasn't a 7th year because it would be lame if she had to leave after only half a year at Hogwarts.

"So am I." She smiled "I'm a sixth year." She said happy that she got another full year here to enjoy the place, make friends and discover new things.

"Well, that's good. It takes a lot more than just a single term to explore this place. Have you done much of that? Exploring, I mean? This is my seventh year at this place and I still haven't seen every room in the castle, though I'm not giving up just yet. I still have plenty of time to look around and find some more of the exciting secrets of Hogwarts."

"I did a bit the other day with a Hufflepuff called Bea. It was quite fun." That scene is ongoing, but we'll pretend it's happened. Yeah. "We pretended we were on a mission and it was all so much fun. I hope to have more adventures soon."

"That sounds fun," he said with a grin. "I'll go on an adventure with you sometime. I love exploring the halls of this place. It seems like the staircases aren't the only things that change around here."

"Oh, you would? It's a plan." She nodded. "Yeah, it seems like it. I haven't been here all too long, but it seems like everything changes daily. Maybe it's just me getting lost though...."

"Trust me. Things change here. I'm in my last year and I still find myself getting lost at least once a week," he said with a light laugh. "I think they do it to make sure we're paying attention."

"Mmm, probably. I think a lot of the time people don't really pay attention anyway, and things change just to give them a bit of a shock." She said, laughing slightly. "Which makes it a bit difficult for people who are still trying to find their way around the castle."

"You should have seen me during my first year. I got lost at least five times a day, and I never made it to any of my classes on time," he told her, grinning at the old memories. Good times, good times.

"That must have sucked. I remember on my first day of lessons here, I got lost and everyone had gone to their lessons already and I had a run in with the caretaker. Luckily I didn't get into any trouble. I don't think he fully believed me when I told him I was new, though." She smiled as she told him the story because looking back on it, it was actually sort of funny to her.

"Oooh, Filch? Don't worry about him. Unless you're his cat, he won't like you. No sense of humour, that guy," he said, shaking his head as he thought about the time he and Scorpius had pranked Filch in some sort of way that Filch didn't seem to find very funny. How shocking. <.<
