"I'd already figured that much about him from our little run in." She shuddered slightly at the thought of his cat, whom she had learnt a bit about already from other students complaining about her. "I hope I don't run into him or his cat anytime soon." She thought out loud.

"I hope you don't either, though he seems to have this annoying tendency of turning up whenever you don't want him around, unfortunately. That cat is too smart for its own good," he muttered, shaking his head at the thought of Filch and Mrs. Norris.

"I've heard that from other students here. They'll turn up when you least expect it and try to get you into trouble for something. I think I'll have to be careful when I'm in the corridors. Not that i'm really a troublemaking person anyway."

"Luckily, the Weasley twins tend to keep Filch busy but he'll try and find any excuse to get people in trouble. It's pretty annoying." He pursed his lips and decided that talking about Filch...was boring. "So, are you into any musical instruments?" he asked curiously.

"The triangle because I'm like, so hipster. No, not that I know of. I want to start learning an instrument in my spare time, though. I don't know what though, but I think it could be fun. What about you? Do play anything?"

Al thought for a moment, grinning to himself as he came up with quite the brilliant idea. "I play a few things. Guitar, piano...harmonica. I could teach you how to play sometime if you'd like. I've never taught anyone how to play before, but I'm sure it's not too difficult, and you look like you'd be a fast learner."

"Oh, that would be awesome! Thanks so much!" She said smiling and then leaning over to give him a quick hug in a friendly sort of way because Sidney is nice like that.

Al smiled and returned the hug. He loved making people happy, and he thought that teaching Sidney how to play the piano or guitar would be fun. "No problem! We can start whenever. There's this room- It's called the Room of Requirements and it should be able to provide us with the instruments we'll need for whenever you want to start with these lessons."

"Cool. I don't really mind when. As long as I don't have any work to do, it should be fine." She said as her inner ravenclaw came out. "A room that provides you with what you want when you go in there? That is so cool."

"I know, right!? It's amazing! It can't give you food though. That's the only problem with the room, but I've figured out how to sneak into the kitchens, so I tend to do that if I need a quick snack during the day."

"Well, if you can sneak into the kitchens, it's all good." She said shrugging. "Where is the room of requirement anyway? Does everyone know about it? I would assume not because it would always be in use then."

"Everyone knows about it because that's where all the students go to have sex Only a few people know, fortunately. It's on the seventh floor, across from the tapestry with Barnabas the Barmy on it. To get in, you have to walk past it three times while thinking about what you need, and then a door should just...appear. It's really awesome."

"Um...No, not really. I haven't been there in a while, actually. But Scorpius and I used to go there occasionally to hang out. A lot of couples use to for dates-- They make the room look all romantic and stuff."

"Well, it sort of does make sense to go there if you want to go on a date. I mean, It'll be private and you can have the place however you want. It seems like a good place for a date." She said nodding.

"Exactly! I've never used it for a date, but I can definitely see the appeal. I'm not sure what else people use it for, but I know there are a few others that use it for random reasons," he shrugged.

"It is very convenient though. If you need a room, you can just go there and it'll be exactly what you need. How nifty." She said, wondering if she went there alone, not wanting anything in particular, just a room, what it would turn into.

"Mhm. Whoever designed his place sure knew what they were doing." He paused, lost in thought for a moment because who designed Hogwarts anyway? Well, the founders, he supposed, but they sure did put a lot of work into this place. "The four founders sure did put a lot of work into making this place the most amazing school in the world, didn't they? Seriously, they thought of everything."

"I know! I must have taken ages to design it all and find all the things needed to make it. Oh, and imagine all the spells and whatnot used to make this place come alive. A lot of complicated ones, I presume. I think it would have been fun for them though. Thinking of all the secret places and mysteries for generations on to find and discover. It's just amazing." She babbled on thinking about the amazingness of Hogwarts.

Al smiled at the thought. As much hard work as it must have taken, he was sure the amount of pride they all felt afterward was like nothing he had ever felt before in his own life. "Exactly! They must have been pretty determined to build the best wizarding school of all time if they were that dedicated and spent so much time on everything. It would be pretty awesome to be a professor here. You'd never have to leave."

"It would be. You'd get to chill at Hogwarts all the time. And they probably know more secrets of the castle than we do. I think being a teacher here would be pretty cool, except for marking kids essays. I mean, you'd have to read through all of them. Not that reading isn't cool, but you'd have to read through all these essays about the same thing. Who would want to do that?" She then wondered what happens when there's no kids at Hogwarts. "Hey, I wonder what the teachers do during our summer holidays? Do they party 24/7 or what?

Al fell quiet as he considered this question. "That's a good question. I mean, they have the whole castle to themselves but on the other hand...I can't exactly see McGonagall and Slughorn partying it up around the castle," he said, laughing at the mental image. He was pretty sure that the teachers lived here all year round, but what they did during the summer months, he had no idea.

Sidney giggled. "You're right, it's a good opportunity for a party, but I just can't really image them partying. What if they did though? That would be a big surprise to all of us. If they don't party, what do they do during the summer then?" She wondered, thinking it over. They had the castle with no students in it for nearly all of the summer.

"Maybe they just spend all that time coming up with all the awful homework they assign us during the school term," he said with a light laugh. "Or they get together and plan creative detention methods."

"Yeah. They probably sit around plotting ways they can torture us during the term. You know, I don't really mind studying, I find it sort of fun learning all those things, but when they give us that much work, I start to not like it so much."
