"Oh! Oh my goodness!" Bea exclaimed as her eyes widened in surprise. "Well, with that information, I'd say we should make me one as soon as possible! I might have some corks up in my dorm," she said. "Do you think you could teach me how to make one right now?" she asked. "I don't want to have my things disappearing. It's a wonder I've never noticed it before!"

"Of course!" Luna exclaimed excitedly. "I could teach you now. I think I have some corks in my bag, actually." She opened up her satchel-like bag, and looked through it before pulling out a few corks and some string. "Here we are!" She handed a cork and some of the string to Bea. "First...you have to use a needle to poke a hole through the cork," she told her as she handed Bea a tiny needle.

"Oh how handy!" she bubbled mirroring Luna's excitement. She accepted the cork and needle from the other girl and a moment of squinting to poke a hole through the cork. "Like this?" she asked, holding the skewered cork out for Luna's inspection.

"Yes!" Luna exclaimed, clapping in approval. "That's exactly how you do it. You're a fast learner. Are you sure you haven't done this before?" she asked curiously, while making another necklace of her own.

Bea's grinned widened at the other girl's approval. "Well, not this specifically, of course, but my sister and I did a lot of crafts together before we started school," she explained. "Um, so string now?" she asked.

"That's nice. I've always liked painting, myself." She nodded at Bea's question. "Yes! Now you carefully string the...string through the cork," she instructed, narrowing her eyes as she attempted to poke her needle through the hole to get the string through.

Bea's tongue poked out of her mouth as she took a moment to thread her needle and poke it into the cork before responding. "Painting? I love painting! Well, I'm more of a finger paints kinda girl. Abstract art, y'know?" she said and pulled the string through the cork then thought of something. "Have you ever been to London?" she asked. "There are some incredible art museums. I have a feeling you'd really enjoy them," she said.

"I usually just paint random things, like pictures of the school and my friends," she told Bea with a small smile before going back to work on the necklace. "London?" Luna echoed after getting the string through the cork. "No, never. I've been to some other places, but never big cities like London. But a museum sounds like fun! I've never been to one of those before."

"I'm sure they're lovely," she said. "Do you think I could see some of them sometime?" she asked tentatively. She remembered that not everyone liked sharing their art. She stared down at her cork and string, not wanting to add anything before Luna had a chance to answer.

"Of course! I don't mind sharing it," Luna answered enthusiastically. She glanced down at Bea's nearly finished necklace. "That's lovely! Now you just tie the ends together, nice and tight so it doesn't fall apart."

"Sounds great! Maybe we can do a swap showing. Mine aren't amazing or anything and they're not really aligned with most people's taste, but..." she paused to shrug, "who knows. Maybe you'd like them." She smiled a bit wider as the little feeling of uncomfort faded away. "Does this look good?" Bea asked and showed the knot she had tied while talking to Luna.

"I would like that! I bet your art is really pretty. I usually like things that are...different, so I'm sure I'll love it." She smiled at Bea's necklace. "It's perfect! You really are a fast learner!"

Bea was officially back to her full-force grin after receiving those compliments. "Thank you. I'm really glad you happened upon me this fine day to educate me. Now I will be safe from the nargles," she said. "I should probably get back to my common room to start on my transfiguration essay. We should definitely plan to have some artsy girl time in the near future though. I really enjoyed meeting you, Luna."

"Yes! That would be fun! You can just send me an owl anytime. I'd love to share my art with you," Luna agreed, smiling cheerfully. "I'll see you soon, Bea. It was nice meeting you too," she smiled, before getting up from her comfortable position on the ground and skipping back to the castle to do something fun.

Dean is laying somewhere down by the lake. He has been spending as much time outside as he can because he just loves being outside. Of course his sketchpad is with him, laying open next to him. Dean is just laying with his hands under his head, soaking up the sun because it's nice out. He's thinking about Luna, but that's pretty common. He missed her and feels like he hasn't seen her in years.

Luna walked down by the lake, feeling rather bored since there really wasn't much to do. Most of the others were busy studying for their OWLs or NEWTs, and it's not like she had many friends to begin with. She had Bea, who was always fun to hang out with. Then there was Ginny, but she hadn't been around all year so Luna sort of forgot all about hanging out with her, sadly. Luna's eyes lit up as she noticed Dean lying down by the lake. She picked up her pace, and sat down next to him once she finally caught up to where he was sitting. "Hello," she greeted cheerfully, smiling as sat criss cross apple sauce next to her best friend.

Dean jumped a little, then smiled a huge smile. "Luna! I was just thinking about you!" He popped up and grabbed her into a big hug. He pulled back and continued to smile. "I feel like I haven't seen you in like, forever. I've missed you! How have you been?" He sat so he was facing her, bringing his knees up to his chest and resting his chin on one of his knees.

Luna's eyes lit up when Dean mentioned that he had been thinking about her. "I missed you too!" She smiled, then leaned over to give Dean a quick hug. "I've been alright. Mostly just doing some studying," she answered, because although she's Luna...she's still a Ravenclaw after all...and a 5th year. "What have you been up to?"

Dean shrugged. "Getting ready for NEWTs, it's stressful, but I come out here a lot too. Mostly because I have a lovesick roommate. Seamus and Lavender are dating now, and that's all he can seem to talk about at the moment." Dean rolled his eyes and hoped he would never torture his friends like that. "I actually ran into Bea the other day. She told me you two met! And she showed me her cork necklace." He smiled and placed a hand over the one he always wore under his shirt.

Luna giggled as Dean mentioned Seamus and Lavender. "You still haven't introduced me to your friends, you know," she teased as she bumped her shoulder into his. "Bea!? She told me that she ran into you," she told him, smiling happily. "We met a while ago and I helped teach her how to make a cork necklace!"

Dean would be blushing, if that was possible. "Ooops? Soon! I promise!" He grinned some more and nodded. "Yeah, and she told me you two were gonna have like, an art exchange or something like that. So, I sort of invited myself as well. And I think we sort of unofficially made a club. And cork necklaces are awesome, everyone should know how to make them."

"Yes! She told me about that! It sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun. I've never really been in a club," she admitted, though she sort of was in Dumbledore's Army but I don't even know how that fits into the anticanon RP that is AWF. Oops.

Considering she married Voldy, I'll assume she wasn't a part of the DA >.>.Dean smiled. "Yeah, me either! It will be lots of fun. Especially since we get to do it together, right?" He felt his face get hot and felt a little embarrassed, but he knew Luna wouldn't judge him for that. Which made him think of the conversation he had with Parvati, and now he was suddenly nervous for some reason. "Hey Lu, can I..can I ask you something?" He was twirling his thumbs and kept glancing down at the ground.

"Mmhm," Luna nodded. She tilted her head to the side, looking at Dean with a confused look in her eyes as he asked if he could ask her something. Well, technically he had just done that so she assumed he had something else to ask her. "Sure, Dean. You know you can always ask me anything."

Dean gave her a sheepish smile [hehe, sheep. *cough*] and cleared his throat. "Right. I know that. I'm just a little...I don't know." He laughed nervously and suddenly felt like a scared first year again. "I guess I was just a little curious about...um, like, us? After we talked in the Great Hall. You know, after you told be about how you cancelled your date with that guy." He still refused to call him by name. Then he chuckled a little. "Sorry, I don't want to make this awkward or anything, I was just a little confused I guess." Then he looked back down at the ground and shifted his weight around a little.
