"Oh." She lowered her gaze and looked down at the grass. To be honest, she had been a bit confused herself about where their relationship stood ever since she had cancelled her date with Rolf. She chewed nervously at her lip, then looked back up at Dean. Overthinking this would just make it more complicated, so without hesitating, she leaned in and softly pressed her lips to Dean's, her heart racing in her chest as she waited for some sort of reaction from him.

Dean watched nervously as Luna chewed at her bottom lip. He thought he was having some sort of hallucination when he saw her face coming towards his, but then her lips were on his and everything sort of stopped for a moment. After a small moment, Dean's brain finally caught up with him and he softly kissed her back, bringing one hand up to cup her face. He really couldn't believe this was happening. He had always imagined what it would be like to kiss Luna, but never would he have ever thought it would feel this...right. He pulled out of the kiss with an enormous grin on his face. He laughed once and grabbed Luna in for a hug. "Well, I guess that sums it up then."

Luna's eyes fluttered shut as she felt Dean's warm hand on her cheek. Her heart was still racing and her lips were still tingling as he pulled away from the kiss, and if he hadn't of pulled her into the hug she probably wouldn't have moved for another hour or so. "Good," she giggled, leaning into Dean's side after hugging him back. "I was hoping that might explain things pretty well," she told him, smiling shyly as she thought about how perfect that kiss had felt, and wondering why she hadn't done it sooner.

Dean felt like he was going to explode with happiness right now. He pulled back to look at Luna, still grinning widely. "I feel like this is a little backwards." He laughed a little. "Can I take you out for a date sometime? A real official date." After his drunkness at the Halloween party, he felt like he wanted to make up for embarrassing not only himself, but also Luna. "I mean, I always secretly called our attempted study sessions dates, but that was mostly wishful thinking at the time."

Luna smiled as she intertwined her fingers with Dean's, flushing slightly when Dean mentioned thinking that their study sessions were dates. She had always tended to be a bit oblivious. "Of course you can," she told him with a bright smile. "I'd like that. What did you have in mind?" she asked, hesitating slightly before covering Dean's hand with her other hand, and gently brushing her fingers back and forth along the back of his hand.

Dean's eyes fluttered a little at the simple touch and a little shiver went down his spine. Then he grinned because there were so many times when he had planned out dates for him and Luna, now he was actually able to live them out. "Oh no, I'm not telling. It's goign to be a surprise. Unless, you have a particular request? Then we can do whatever you'd like." He was all about making Luna happy, that was like his main goal in life.

Luna shrugged her shoulders, not really minding what they did together for their first official date. "I'm fine with anything. I like surprises," she told him with a soft smile as she looked up at his face.

Dean had to smile, because Luna was smiling and Luna smiling always made Dean smile. >.> "Well good! Then you're in for a treat! When are you free? I know you're probably busy studying as well, and I don't want you to be stressed with that and trying to make time for me as well." Even though Dean had a lot of studying to do as well, he could care less right now because he was finally going on a date with the girl of his dreams.

"Anytime," she answered, still smiling as she leaned against him. She wasn't sure what Dean had in mind for their date, but she knew that she was already excited about it. Even before they were 'dating,' they would 'study' together and they always had fun. Everything about being with Dean was always so natural. "I can't wait. It's going to be fun, no matter what we end up doing."

Dean puts an arm around Luna's shoulder, loving how easy it felt just to be around her. "Perfect. I'll let you know when I decide on a day." He smiled and let out a happy sigh. "Oh! I actually have a surprise for you! I, uh, finally finished something..." He pulled back and looked at her, wondering if she'd know what he was talking about as he reached for his abandoned sketchpad.

Luna's eyes lit up as Dean mentioned a surprise, because one is never too old to get excited over surprises. "You do!?" She sat up a bit straighter, and glanced over as she watched Dean reach for the sketchpad, growing more excited over what he was about to show her.

Dean pulled open the sketchpad and started flipping through until he found what he was looing for. He turned the picture towards Luna. "I finally finished the drawing of Hogwarts. Well, part of Hogwarts. Mainly the Gryffindor tower...but still.." He grinned a little and was actually genuinely proud of his work.

Luna squealed as she realized what the picture was. "You finished it!" She took a moment to look over the picture, smiling at how amazing it really looked. Then she gently set it down on the grass and flung her arms around Dean. "I knew you'd be able to do it! I'm so glad you didn't give up, Dean. It's brilliant!"

[Sorry! I had an unplanned busy day! I'll be on all day tomorrow though! Sorry sorry!]

Dean laughed happily. "Ah! I'm so happy I actually finished it. I have you to thank for that. You really pushed me, and believed that I was able to do it. I actually liked how it turned out. I think I'll have to go somewhere where I have a good view of the whole castle. Maybe get a canoe or something and go out on the lake. Hey! Do you want to come with me?"

Luna smiled softly as she continued leaning against Dean. "I knew you'd be able to do it, otherwise I wouldn't have pushed so much." Her eyes lit up at the mention of a canoe. She had never actually been out to the middle of the lake before. "Really!? Yes! I'd love that," she told him, smiling brightly. "That sounds fun!"

Dean nodded. "Really really! It will be lots of fun! Maybe we can get a better look at the Giant Squid too! And you know what we really need to do, is plan a certain trip to look for a certain elusive animal I've heard so much about." He looked down at Luna and grinned.

Alex takes a moment because right now all Luna can think is jdawpojgeo;lejwnfesw;afeksn kln kj because she knows what creatures Dean is talking about. "You mean it!? You still want to go? That would be....it'd be the greatest trip ever! I still have all my books on Sweden and all the supplies we would need while we're there."

Dean shakes his head. "Are you crazy? Of course I still want to go! I never not wanted to go...if that made sense. And I have access to a two bedroom tent with a full kitchen and bathroom, if we need it. It will totally be the best trip ever. Not only because I get to spend time with you, but because you're going to finally prove to everyone that Snorkacks are real."

"Really!? That'd be perfect! A lot better than the tent I have." She smiled and intertwined their fingers again. She wasn't sure if Dean really did believe in Snorkacks or not, but the fact that he cared meant more to her than she could ever explain with words. "I really hope we find one. It'd be amazing to actually see one up close."

Dean smiled down at their intertwined hands. "It will be amazing once we see one. If you don't mind, I'd like to borrow those books on Sweden to try and familiarize myself with the area. Maybe help you map out where you'd like to look. Or maybe we can take all that stuff out on the canoe with us!"

"Of course! I can give them to you later if you'd like. They're all back up in my dorm. I have a lot of maps too, though I haven't looked at them for a while," she admitted, a while meaning about three days but that's a lot to Luna seeing as she's in love with Sweden. She squealed and clapped her hands together as she got an idea. "We could take it out onto the canoe and go to that little island over there," she suggested, putting her hand under Dean's chin to turn his head in the direction of the island she was talking about. "And then we could have a picnic or something while we look over everything!"
