"Perhaps that's it. I didn't really see her as the type that would tutor other students. Maybe we should ask her about it," she said before biting her lip. "It must be rather serious, whatever happened between them. I always had a feeling that Scorpius was different from the other Malfoys though, just based on the way that Al talked about him. So, you're alright with Scorpius staying here?" she asked, having a feeling he probably still wasn't crazy about the idea.

"Yeah, I'm sure she has a perfect reason for it." he said nodding, who knows maybe she had started working for teachers or something and that was how they paid her. He took a deep breath and thought for a moment before nodding. "Yes. As long as you are sure he isn't like Draco or Lucius." he said with a small nod. "As long as he really is a good kid. I don't want some little rebellious git in our house." He said giving her a small smile. "Just make sure to let James and Lily know they can bring a friend if they wish too. After all, we don't want to favor Al."

"He's not like Draco or Lucius at all," she promised, if even his sexuality was any indicator. Ginny hoped that Harry getting to know Scorpius would make Al's news that much easier for Harry to handle. "Just give him a chance," she said. She was quiet for a moment before asking, "What if James wants to bring a girl home? Would that be alright? Or what if Lils wants to bring a boy home?"

When she told him to give him a chance he just nodded and let out a deep breath. He supposed that if Scorpius was really that great of a friend of Al's then he should give him a chance. When she mentioned James bringing a girl home he nodded. "Yeah of course he--" He cut himself off as she mentioned Lily bringing a boy home. That was simply unacceptable. She was his little girl after all. "No! She can't. She is a young girl. She should not be associating with boys. Boys have cooties at her age, don't they?"

Ginny rolled her eyes, for she had a feeling that was exactly what he was going to say. "Harry, Lily isn't a little girl anymore. You can't expect her to stay a virgin until she's thirty," she said. "In fact, just over the Christmas holidays I taught her the charm," Ginny told him with a small shrug. "It's time that you've accepted the fact that the kids are going to be doing things, whether you think they're ready to or not."

Harry turned his head slightly to look at her. "You taught her the charm?" He asked raising an eyebrow. "No." he said shaking his head. "She's not ready for that." He told her. "Thirty is perfectly fine. When she is thirty it can be a nice gift to herself." He said with a small nod. "But, I suppose if we want to be fair we will have to let her bring a boy if she wishes." He murmured, even though he didn't want his little girl bringing a boy home. "But he can not stay in the same room as her." Harry would of course probably allow James or Al to have a girl stay in their rooms though, because boys will be boys.

"I seem to recall you having a sex talk with the boys when they were fifteen," she remarked. "It's only fair that Lily is informed. She's going to have sex whether you want her to or not and it's better that she can protect herself. What if we waited until I was thirty?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "And no, if the James brings home a girl and Al decides to bring a girl instead of his friend home, then they'd have to sleep in separate rooms. We'll figure something out."

"Boys are different though." he told her with a small nod. "Boys get erections and they need to learn to take care of them. Whether it be by using their hand or by using a girl." He said and gave her a smile like that was totally normal for him to say and like he was not over protective of his daughter. "Well that's different." He said when she said if they waited until she was thirty. "Because I was not your father." He said with a light shrug. "Okay. Fine, if we want to be fair we'll have to give them all the same rules." He said, agreeing with her.

Ginny stared at her husband for a moment. "Girls get urges too," she countered. "We just tend to not act like horny gits." She couldn't help but snort at his next statement. "Yes, and thank Merlin for that. Though my father was able to get over the idea of me having sex before marriage," she said. "Same rules for all the kids. Unless the relationship is extremely serious, like they've been with the person for over a year, then separate bedrooms."

Harry raised an eyebrow when she said girls don't act like horny gits, she sure seemed to be quite the horny little bugger every now and then. "Well, can you really blame me? I mean Lily is my little girl. Of course I don't want her having sex with anyone." he said giving her a smile. When she mentioned having the same rules for all the kids he nodded. "Yeah, okay. Separate bedrooms." He said, even though he would probably sneak James and Al off to the side after Ginny went to sleep and tell them they didn't have to follow her rules.

"What if Lily doesn't even bring a boy home?" she asked. "I mean, here we are discussing that possibility, when she very well might in fact bring a girl home. And I don't mean just a friend. She could be lesbian," Ginny said offhandedly, curious to what his reaction would be to that sort of thing. In a way, she was just preparing for how the whole conversation with Al was going to go, for she truly didn't know how her husband would handle it.

Harry looked at her curiously when she asked about Lily bringing a girl home, of course he wouldn't mind if his daughter let a friend sleep in her room. When she said she could be a lesbian his eyes widened slightly. He wasn't against gay people or anything of that matter but he definitely did not see any of his kids as gay. None of them had told him at least and he definitely would have expected them to right when they found out. "Lily? A lesbian?" He asked after a moment. "Do you really think she might be? I mean she's never seemed to act as if she is a lesbian in my opinion." He said, wondering if Lily had told Ginny something and they were keeping it a secret from him. That would not amuse him very much. "Well, if it does turn out that way and Lily is a lesbian and she brings home her girlfriend, if she has one, then they can't stay in the same room." He said with a light shrug. "It's our new rule. No significant others in the bedrooms."

"She's never mentioned a boyfriend before, so I was just curious as to what your opinion was on the whole thing," she said. Turning her head, she looked at him for a moment before smiling. His answer had relieved her completely and she hoped that he kept that same mentality when Al came out to him. Leaning in, she placed a gentle kiss on his lips before saying, "I'm rather impressed, Potter. We'll love them no matter who they choose to love, alright?" she said. She only hoped that he kept with this when he found out it was a Malfoy of all people that Al chose to be with.

Harry smiled at her as she kissed him and said she was impressed. Well, he did know how to impress a lady, that was for sure. I mean, just ask Pansy. He impressed her all the time back in the day. Nobody ever knew though because it was all a well kept secret. "Exactly." He said with a firm nod. "If Lily wants to date a girl, or if James or Al want to date a guy. That's fine with me." He said nodding. Of course the whole Malfoy thing might be interesting considering Harry is not too fond of the Malfoy name so Scorpius will already have to win Harry over, imagine how hard it will be if Harry knows that he is not only a Malfoy, but he is dating his son. That boy is going to have a lot of impressing to do.

And now Ginny is glaring at Pansy's name. Harry best be joking. She isn't making any comments here about her escapades with Lucius and how amazing they were. Op. "Well, good," she grinned, relieved that her husband was open-minded about the whole thing. She figured that if she had had this kind of conversation with Ron, things might have gone a bit differently. Thinking of her brother is making her realize that she hasn't really seen him lately. "We should invite Ron and Hermione over for dinner soon," she said.

[Harry Potter]

Harry is one hundred percent joking. Yeah. Totally joking. Just making a funny. Though he isn't joking when he talks about his actions with one Parvati Patil. She sure was a hottie. Harry nodded when she mentioned inviting over Ron and Hermione. "Yeah. That sounds like a good idea. I haven't really talked to either of them in a while. Sure I've seen them a few times here and there but we haven't really been able to catch up much."

And those comments are not funny either. Now you've got James and Ginny BOTH annoyed. Way to go Nev, way to go. "Alright, I'll send an owl over to Hermione then and demand we hang out soon. You'd think without having the kids home that we'd see them more. Though I suppose with you being Head Auror, it makes things a bit more difficult," she said.

OP. My bad. I will try and refrain from making any more comments about Harry or in this case Parvati's past relationships. "Okay, sounds like a plan. Invite them over to lunch or dinner sometime soon." He said nodding. "You know, you would think I would see Ron around the Ministry every once and a while but I rarely ever see him. It's odd, really." He said with a light shrug.

"Hmm, they both must be rather busy with work then. Though, I suppose we can't really talk," she mused with a grin. "After all, when was the last time you took me out for a nice dinner?" she teased, not really minding or anything for they both had been rather busy. "And I don't mean getting carry out and putting on in some bowls," she added.

[Harry Potter]

Harry gave her a slight glare when she teased him for not taking her out to dinner. "Well, that streak will end right now, Ginny." He said as he gave her a grin and stood up off the couch. "Go get your fancy panties and dress on. We're going out." He said as he walked off to go comb his hair and put on a clean shirt.

[James Sirius Potter]

James held Parvati's hand tightly as they apparated to Godric's Hollow, ending up on the front steps of his home. "This err, this is my house. Though, I guess that's pretty obvious," he said, nearly kicking himself for the rather obvious and therefore rather stupid statement. He readjusted the bag on his shoulder that was full of belongs before saying, "We'll just wait for Al and Scorpius to come along before going in."

[Parvati Patil]

Parvati looked over at James when he talked about waiting and nodded. "Right, your house." She said quietly with a small nod. "Your house that you live in, and your parents. Your parents." She said again and took a deep breath. She was pretty nervous to meet James' parents because she had never really met a guys parents before and that was kind of a big deal for her. She fiddled the the strap on her duffel bag a bit as she waited for Al and Scorpius to arrive.

[Albus Severus Potter]

Al apparated with Scorpius, ending up a few feet behind his brother and Parvati, leading him to assume that they had just arrived as well. "Hey guys," he greeted quietly as he pulled the pink sunglasses off his face to look at them both properly. He knew that they should probably go inside, but his legs seemed to stop working as he looked up at the house and thought of what conversation he'd be having during this trip.

[Scorpius Malfoy]

Once they had landed in front of the familiar house, Scorpius looked at it for a moment before turning his attention to Parvati and James. "Hi James, Hi Parvati," he said with a small smile, obviously remembering the girl. "How's the tattoo?" he asked Parvati. Oh oops, James does not know. Awkward. He glanced over at Al, noticing how his boyfriend seemed to be frozen on the spot. He knew that this was a big deal for Al and hoped that everything was going to go smoothly. He had been reluctant to come, but he knew that Al would need the support. "It'll be alright," he murmured to Al before saying a bit more loudly. "So, do we knock or just enter?"

[James Sirius Potter]

James eyes widened quite a bit from Scorpius' statement, for he had no idea that Parvati had a tattoo. What? When? Where? He figured that now was not the time to ask such things though but would definitely be asking her about it later. "Err, we can just go on in," he replied to Scorpius with a small shrug. "I've never felt the need to knock to enter my own home." Moving to the door, he turned the knob and pushed it open. He let out a small sigh, glad to be home and hoping that everything ran rather smoothly. "Come on," he said to Parvati, cocking his head slightly to motion for her to follow him right into the living room where he dropped their bags by the stairs. "Don't worry, I'm sure my parents will love you," he told her softly.
