Al couldn't help it. A soft moan escaped his lips as he felt Scorpius' slender fingers on his arse and he pulled Scorpius' mouth away from his neck, looking him in the eyes for a quick second before pressing their lips together again. His hands moved to rest on Scorpius' shoulders, then slowly slid down his chest as Al's tongue slipped in between Scorpius' pink, soft lips. His hands tightened on the fabric of the shirt as he leaned back on the bench, his back up against the polished wood as he pulled Scorpius down on top of him without parting their lips.

Scorpius looked back at Al in confusion, wondering what it was that made Al pull away from Scorpius' mouth. Before he could comment or ask though, he felt Al press their lips together once more and Scorpius immediately responded to the kiss. He could feel Al's fingers, softly moving down his chest yet leaving the feeling of a burning path in their wake. Groaning into Al's mouth, he knew that whatever his friend wanted to do to him, Scorpius would instantly obey. His body fell with ease onto Al's, his mouth moving with a more demanding pressure with Al's as his hips ground themselves downwards. Gasping, he reluctantly pulled his mouth away from Al's. "Slow down...your house. My house is one thing...but yours..." he managed to get out, hoping that Al knew exactly what he was trying to communicate. If they had been at the manor, Scorpius would have had Al undressed in an instant, for his parents wouldn't even think of going near his bedroom. Here though...things were different. He couldn't put Al in a position that would make his friend feel awkward. The Potter family would be all to knowing if something were to occur right now.

Al was shocked as he felt Scorpius' hips grinding into his own, reminded of the arousal growing in his jeans and the fact that this was his bedroom..in his house where his mother, brother and sister were. "Don't worry. I wasn't planning on letting you in my pants anyway," he teased with a wink. "Not with James creeping outside the door anyway," he amended, because if they were anywhere else he would have no problem with letting Scorpius do whatever he wanted to do. He pressed his hands to Scorpius' chest, pushing his friend up slightly to give himself more room to sit up on the bench. He really wished that James could accept his decisions. He understood that James wouldn't want to see his brother making out with another person, but why did it bother him so much that Al was happy with Scorpius? It just wasn't fair. He took the back of his hand and gently slid it down the side of Scorpius' face, cupping his friend's cheek as he smiled up at him. I love you, he thought to himself, though he didn't say it out loud. He had loved Scorpius for a long time, but he was too scared to tell him. Not yet, at least. He finally had what he wanted and he didn't want to scare Scorpius off with the L-word.

Scorpius nodded, knowing that Al was right. It sort of concerned him that James might have been right outside the doorway. Scorp knew very little about sibling dynamics, yet he had seen the way Al and James often treated each other. Sure, they had sometimes came off as ridiculous or rude to one another, but after the bathroom incident, things had gotten much worse. What killed Scorpius was that it was his fault. He shouldn't have been so stupid to let things like that happen in such a public bathroom. He should have gained better control over his hormones and horniness for Al. He immediately sat up on the bench when Al pushed him away lightly, situating himself comfortably once more on the bench. As he felt Al's hand move gently, he couldn't help but look at his friend with the same sense of adoration. He had no idea what kinds of thoughts were running through Al's mind, though Scorpius would have frozen and clammed up if Al were to actually say any of it. Breaking the silence, he then said in a quiet tone, "I'm sure James is going to come around real soon."

Al smiled sadly at Scorpius then tore his gaze away as he swung one leg over the bench so that he was no longer straddling it. He would have loved to tell Scorpius how he felt, but he knew he'd never be able to do it. Never be able to say how he really felt about his best friend. He loved Scorpius, and he knew that Scorpius had strong feelings in return and that the Malfoy cared about him. Al wasn't selfish. That would be enough for him. He knew what kind of guy Scorpius was. Al was lucky to know that he had a chance at a real, long-lasting relationship with Scorpius. It would be foolish to expect Scorpius to ever fall in love with him him, and Al had learned to accept that over the past few weeks. But Al loved Scorpius and he knew Scorpius would never hurt him, and that was what was important. Scorpius would give Al everything he could, and Al wouldn't complain just because 'love' wasn't on that list. "I doubt it," he said when Scorpius spoke and snapped him out of his thoughts. "He's been such a jerk lately. He never listens to me."

Scorpius has come a long way over the past few weeks. When Al had initially said that there was an attraction, that he liked him in a not-so-best-friend way, Scorpius hadn't taken the news very well. Though, Scorpius being who he was, that really wasn't all that surprising. The Malfoy had only been exposed to one of kind of relationship and hadn't known how to treat his friend after the revelation. Now though, it seemed as though the two of them were the most natural thing ever. Scorpius wasn't sure where things were going with the two of them, but he had no intention of stopping the relationship or ruining things with his best mate. Hell, he wasn't even sure what to call Al. Boyfriend? He supposed that this made the most sense, for essentially that's what they were. Using the term though seemed almost...odd, something he'd have to get used to. "Just give him time. I'm sure that he needs space to think about it all. You know, my parents are supposed to be out of town on New Years. They have some big pureblood party thing to go to. If you want...you could come over to the manor..." he suggested.

"Really?" His eyes lit up at the thought of being alone with Scorpius at the Manor. Just the two of them with no one to judge them for their relationship. They wouldn't have to worry about someone walking in on them while they were snogging or just talking about whatever. And he's not gonna lie, everyone knows the Manor is the shit and Al would love to see it. "That'd be...I'd love to. I'm sure my mum will let me. She knows how James has been acting and she'd probably like to give me a chance to get away for a while."

"Yeah, my parents really wouldn't care or notice at all," Scorpius said with a small shrug. Little does he know though, that his parents will be there. Perhaps because their party gets cancelled or something. Who knows. Scorpius is just under the impression that it will just be him and Al. He'd really like to give Al a tour...especially of the really large bath. "Excellent! You can of course stay the night, so your mum doesn't have to fuss with staying up really late for you or anything. How about I'll come over around six or so that day, then apparate you there? That way you'll know where it is."

Al will love that bath. Love it. "Seriously? That would be amazing! I'll ask my mum tonight," he said, unable to keep the excited grin off his face. "That'll be great. I'd love to spend time with you...And have some time away from James. Maybe when I come back without a broken heart he'll realize that you're not out to hurt me," he said with a roll of his eyes. He was determined to prove his brother wrong. Scorpius would never hurt him, and James would learn that one day.

"Great," Scorpius said with a wide grin, growing excited over the prospect of spending New Years with Al. He started to think of all the things that they could do, complete with a nice big bottle of firebeer, some delicious snacks made by the house elves, and of course just some time alone together. He could already tell that it was going to be the best New Years he would have ever had this far. What was more, the idea of the midnight kiss was something he was eagerly looking forward to, wanting nothing more than to start the new year with Al. "I see no reason to warn my parents. Not like they'll be there anyway," Scorpius shrugged.

"Your parents...Right." Al knew better to assume that Scorpius' parents knew about him. Scorpius had told him all about the relationship he had with his father and he wouldn't blame him for not telling him. Actually, even Al was scared to tell his own dad who he knew would not approve of him dating a Malfoy. He'd probably react worse than James had. Scorpius was a Malfoy, after all. Dating a Potter was one thing...But dating a guy? It certainly didn't look good for such a noble, pure family. "Scorp? Do they know about...Anything? About us or about you...liking guys?" he asked curiously. He didn't mind if Scorpius was keeping him a secret from his family, considering that Al probably would have done the same with James at first if he hadn't of found out in the showers that one day.

Scorpius suddenly felt extremely guilty. From the way that Mrs. Potter had treated him, it had seemed as though she suspected something, which indicated that Al had told her. Scorpius on the other hand, had not breathed a word about any of it to either of his parents. Al's parents were much more accepting of differences, whereas his parents were not. Hell, he'd be kicked out of the manor and cut off from any sort of inheritance if his parents knew. "Don't be mad...it's not that I'm ashamed of you, that's really not it," he insisted. "It's just...things at home are usually bad enough. I figured that I would wait until the school year is over, when I really don't care what it is that my parents, particularly my father, thinks."

"Don't worry about it," he shrugged. Sure, he would have liked if Scorpius could tell his parents about him but he totally understood what type of family came from. "If I were you, I wouldn't tell either. Your family isn't like mine. Malfoy's aren't supposed to be gay or date Potters. I still haven't told my dad. My mum is always so understanding and everything, but he...He would be worse than James. I don't know what I'll say whenever he comes home from work while I'm around." He smiled to himself as he thought of that day in the showers with Scorpius. When how Scorp had teasingly sung to Al about them not being able to be together but doing it anyway. "I still have that ring you made me back in the fall," he admitted quietly, blushing slightly because Scorpius probably thought he was lame or dorky for doing so.

"Al, I will tell them at some point, that I can definitely assure you. I just figured that the holidays weren't a good time to tell them, for getting kicked out of the manor would surely put a damper on the Christmas festivities." He was rather afraid of how Mr. Potter would react to the whole thing. After all, it was a known fact that Draco and Harry didn't get along in the slightest, particularly during their days at Hogwarts. "Wait, you do?" Scorpius asked, rather surprised but kind of elated to hear that. "Can I see it?" he asked.

Al nodded shyly before standing up and taking Scorpius' hand, leading him over to his bed where he opened the drawer of his bedside table and pulled out the plastic ring and handed it to Scorpius to look at. "I don't know why I kept it. I just...Couldn't get rid of it, I guess. Silly, I know. I'm glad I kept it now though. It's sort of funny how things end up working out, isn't it?"

Scorpius stood up and made his way towards the bed with Al, watching as his friend opened the bedside table. It was quite different from his own drawer at home and school, nothing kinky or sexual in it at all. Huh. It seemed as though some corruption was going to have to eventually take place. Taking the ring from Al's hand, he looked at it with a grin, remembering that day in the bathroom. "I think it's...sweet," he said, taking Al's right hand and putting the ring on his finger. Yes, the right. The promise side, for Scorpius is in this for good.

Al beamed as Scorpius put the ring on his finger, making a scene of admiring it on his hand once Scorpius pulled his hand away. "It really is lovely. And I have a charming necklace to match. Must have cost you a fortune," he teased, grinning as he sat down on the bed next to Scorpius and took the other boy's hand, intertwining their fingers as he smiled up at his boyfriend...friend. Whatever they considered each other now. Al wasn't sure, but he didn't really care. He had Scorpius and that was all that mattered.

But dadddd, it's not a legit ring. Sheesh. That won't come for a bit <.< OH, AND IDK IF YOU SAW...but Scorpius is under the impression that his parents are going to a New Year's Eve party so that he has the house all to himself. That is why he invited Al over for the night. Why his parents end up coming home or actually being there, could be your own reason.

"Money is no matter, especially in times like this and for a Malfoy," he said with a grin. He moved forward slightly, leaning in and pressing his lips gently to Al's for a moment. "I have to head back to the manor," he said reluctantly when he pulled away. "My parents aren't really aware that I left to come and see you. I'll pick you up at six in a few days though?"

Al smiled against Scorpius' lips, not feeling at all disappointed when he pulled away much to his own surprise. He and Scorpius had a wonderful talked and worked everything out, they laughed together just like old times, and he would be seeing him again in a few days to spend the New Year with him. Everything was finally just perfect. "Can't wait," he replied, still grinning. "Let me walk you to the door," he offered as he took Scorpius' hand and stood up. He didn't want his friend to have to deal with an pissed off James alone, after all.

"Aww, what a gentleman," Scorpius teased with a grin. Taking Al's hand, he lightly tugged Al up from the bed but kept their fingers intertwined for the time being. He wasn't going to end the contact until necessary, which meant either when they arrived at the door or James popped up in front of them. Walking out of the room, down the hall, and down the stairs, he froze at the bottom and let out a slight sigh of relief when he noticed James wasn't there. He was probably in the kitchen stuffing his face. "So I'll see you real soon," he promised.

"Alright then," he replied with a smile, still relieved that they hadn't walked into James along the way. "See you soon," he murmured before pressing his lips to Scorpius for a soft, gentle goodbye kiss, glad that his mother wasn't around because even though he knew she approved this relationship, well, it would still be sort of awkward for her to be there watching.

Scorpius gently kissed Al back for a moment, then pulled away and gave his friend's hand a gentle squeeze. "I'll owl you if things change for some reason," Scorpius said before releasing Al's hand. He then headed to the door, left the Potter house, and apparated back to the manor. YIPEE.
