Regulus honestly had no idea what to say to that. "But.. who could possibly be better than you?" he blurted out, honestly confused. He ignored his question.

Viktor laughed. "Vell, better for 'er at least. She should be vith Severus. I don't like 'im but she does. And today he made it clear that 'e does not approve of me." He shrugged it off and smiled. He didn't know why but he always felt better around Regulus.

Regulus barely knew Severus, so he couldn't give his opinion properly. "I'm sorry," he said, placing a hand on Krum's shoulder in a comforting way, at a loss for words. "Don't give up on her, Viktor, if she's what you want. Don't let someone get in the way of you being happy."

There it was. That feeling he got when Regulus touched him. He shook his head. "You didn't 'ear him. He's alvays loved her and I only just met her. There are other fish in the sea or vatever it is you people say." He smile again. "I barely knew 'er anyvay. Not the vay he does."

Regulus decided Viktor would be okay- he didn't seem overly upset, just disappointed. "I'm sure you'll find someone else," he said, returning his smile.

"Saw him in the common room, and confronted him about his comments about us the other night. I punched him for something he said, and we got into a fight, and then he left, and then I came here," he explained. He refrained from telling him the two things that were really bugging him; whether or not Cormac might have been right, and if Sirius really did hate him.

The only time he stopped thinking about that night was when he was thinking about yesterday's practice. "Vell if he looks any vorse than you I think you may haff lost yourself a Quidditch player." Viktor forced another smile, which for the record, was still sexy.

Regulus is very glad it's night, and Krum can't see him blush from that smile again. He was always blushing around him, always. "Nah. I just kicked him around and broke his nose," he said, chuckling. "He deserved worse. Ignorant little shit," he continued, gazing up at Krum. It seemed impossible for Regulus to take his eyes off of him, no matter how hard he tried to look away.

The thought of Viktor giving flying lessons to anyone else bothered Reg, though he didn't really know why. He kind of liked it, being just them, together. Friends. Friends? Regulus can't help but smile at Krum's laugh, which was so infectious. "I somehow doubt that'll ever happen," he said with a chuckle, though he was still distant.

"He vouldn't be able to fly as vell as you anyvay. You're better than some of the people on the Bulgarian team." Viktor smiled again. He was always smiling around Regulus. He had never smiled this much before Hogwarts.
